Breakfast is usually the slowest but easiest for that reason. If you're a morning person then breakfast shift is for you. If you're a sleep in til 12pm In the afternoon type of person you might want to do closings.

@@lifeofnaee2503 that’s such better!!! Wendy’s and McDonald’s and those typa jobs can be very stressful, some are some aren’t, those that are lack training, just put you on the register yet don’t show u how to use it, so I’m glad ur gonna work at Starbucks now!! :)) that seems better
@@Maddienmk yessss it is better but now working at a drive thru I’m happy I chose to work at a cafe first because it’s a little slower and you have more time to make mistakes && not worry about too many customers in the afternoon or night time

This is an interesting experience, I work at McDonald’s(I’m 16) I work part time, I’ve been around for 2 months, I like working there but it’s also chaotic, rude customers, and we have been short staffed too so it’s not fun cause I would also be left alone clueless but now I know how everything works but I’m annoyed whenever we get short staffed and end up doing multiple positions at once(window, fries, running, etc) like cmon but basically I’m thinking about switching to Wendy’s and have a peaceful job there but I would like your opinion first about working there like how’s the payment, how’s the management, and most importantly, how to wrap?😂😂

@@potato5904they hire at 15 and up. Some do at 14. And pay in my area of York pa is $14
responding to this a year later cause i can relate so hard.. i worked at mcdonald’s for my first job and i absolutely hated it..i was like 15 and i started working in the summer so i was working opening shifts which is 5AM-2PM which is nice because you can still do stuff during the day but it was so tiring because i had to do so much other stuff i wasn’t trained for.. i ended up quitting after 2-3 months and went to walmart which i loved! it was so peaceful and I definitely feel like retail is where i belong because i cannot stand fast food.. that was like 3-4 years ago, i know work at meijers which is only in the midwest and i love it

I just went to my first job interview at Wendy’s and the manager asked me if I can work Saturday (tmr) and I said yes but on the inside I’m panicking cus I’m thinking what if they expect me to know what I’m doing and don’t train me 😭😟

You should ask your manager for the schedule. Yeah it’s been a week so you should definitely know by now. Perhaps they will let you know this in about another week or so. Yeah sometimes it’s like they are still planning schedules and take a bit longer 😭

Did you have to schedule to your interview because i got an email saying that I have to reschedule and so i did reschedule my interview this Saturday but haven't got a call back will they call you a day before the interview or what. How did that go for you.

Great! It's just that I told the manager I was size Large, I'm on the chubbier side, I thought even large wouldn't fit me but now I know that the shirts are pretty big than what I expected.
Did u get the shoes from them? So does that mean that they only provide a t-shirt, hat and apron? We have to get the pants somewhere else?
@@npaco44 Of course I’ll reply 💕! You can get the shoes from like Walmart . Mine were given to me so I didn’t buy them . The pants are something that you would have to purchase yourself . Wendy’s will only give you the hat and shirt.

I mean if the manger not there you wanna ask to make sure cause sometimes they are doing something else other then interviews Im at my 3rd job now been doing restaurant for 3 yrs if you have intrest in it you can make a living off of it

Bro I just started training yesterday an today too the only thing I'm good at is counting the money what the people give me, taking orders is alot more stressful so many buttons an I miss read alot of the stuff😭 I hope they put me up front
Yeah so update I've been on frys and helping with the drinks but the still put me in the back taking money wish I'm happy about I had to take somones order yesterday it was easier sense I got the hang of where everythings at, my last pay check was 176 this week I'm doing 21.75 hrs wish means more money
Another update: so I feel like I'm getting used to it, they put me in the front taking peoples orders an putting food in the bags which was difficult too do but I managed . it's really easy when there i⁶snt a whole bunch of people
Another update yall so it's been almost 4 months now and at work I work from Tuesday Friday an all weekends I feel like I could focus more on work an stuff but now ik worrying about making more money cuz my checks be 200 smth like that each two weeks that isn't alot,my job as skill wise has been better still getting complaints from my manager but I feel as though they just don't like how I am w how I do the things they don't like even though im going faster as each time I do it. I got 6 more months at wendys then wanna work at Starbucks. Another thing is all this time I've been spending my paychecks 1 reason is because it doesn't be alot to even save up 2. I wanna buy as many things I never could have buying so yeah but in the summer after may is over imma save all my money then quit so after theses two next paychecks I'm getting no more buying (: oh an another thing before I live I'm 15 right so manager lied an told the supervisor or sumwhat odd reason I was 17 even though the supervisor interviewed an wrote my age down an still made me work 21 hrs on. A school week that made my grades drop
@@swaggyswurp840 Wth- my cousin having the same problem at checkers. The manager just apparently hates her and the people who work there can't even do their job. If she quit she may work at burger king since thats where she originally wanted to go to. I hope things get better for you and I plan on working at Starbucks for my first job.
