i am comming from truck driving and into the food service industry the multi tasking at the drive through looks really intimidating !!!!! but i love how you actually made this video it makes mee feell less nervous i have a interview and trying something new in life this time around ! awesome video i love it!!! i wish you could do one showing how to use the front register at the counter with customers and tricky orders lol! awesome stuff !!
I been working at Wendy’s for 3 years so far. Biggest order I could remember is 10 4 for $4 combo meals

I also gotta uber to wendys in LI, and I am still not sure if I am gonna do the register/drive-thru or the sandwich building/ food prep, but this video really helped my anxiety. I worked fast food before, at starbucks and pizza hut. As good as I am with people, they also secretly get on my nerves in the food industry. (they got on my nerves in healthcare too when I was a nurse in another life lmao). So i am hoping I am making the sandys and salads :) repetitive work for the win

Yes ! It’s not bad at all for a beginner. This was actually my first job ever. They start you off little by little too. Even though it’s a fast paced environment you will gradually learn new positions as time goes. For my workplace they tend to start people off on back window to just take cash, or start ppl off on the sandwich station.

Can you please film yourself working at the fry station ? You might have to hide your phone on the sandwich station or put it on the fry station next to the salt shaker where the fries and nuggets are.
Yes! I will try to. It’s just so hard not getting caught bc everyone is nosey and the managers love walking around lol. But I’m currently working on making a pt. 2 so I will definitely include that! :)

I used to work at Wendy’s and every time me or someone else worked on the fry station we would always lean against the fry station hold time buttons when we’re putting the nuggets and fries into the carton. We never stood up straight. 😂 I didn’t really care though, I continued to lean against the fry station buttons because I needed a break from standing all day. 😂
Is that a habit that you do too when you’re doing fry station ?
@@JessFasho and when it was slow, they used to send me home even if I was trying to do something to look busy or even when it was busy because they would say the labor is too high. 😂

I recently had an interview at wendys and my status on the wks website said I was hired but it doesn't tell me when to start working or anything what do I do TT

Do you think fast food workers should unionize?
I'm not too sure about my take on that. I feel as if the workers were to do it, it wouldn't be as flexible and laid back as it is right now, but I can see the benefits from such happening. What's your take on that?

They need this machine at Taco Bell you shouldn’t wash dishes by hand you could just use the machine and it can do the dishes for you without you

$12 but I started out with $10

@@Cherish_life30 I had to wait a year because we get yearly raises. I went from $10 to $12.5 an hour
