Vermont is a leason for life. Everyone spends an inordinate amount of energy avoiding hard things and trying to find comfort. The magic lies in letting go of the "hard is bad" mindset and enjoy the journey of difficult things. What was perceived as miserable (water on trail) becomes just another way to enjoy the trail. Is it hard physically? Yep. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Leave it to you yo notice how good the cold water feels on your sore feet...
as you trudge through the mud.
Your attitude is always on the positive things...
which has helped you get over and through many obstacles for so long. You are a super conqueror! (Biblical reference intended).
God bless you. You are inspirational! 💪👊🙏😊

Wow look at you! 😮 That's some nasty trail walking and could be a bit dangerous. Be careful though with high water and streams. Thanks for sharing the tree root system. That's totally amazing! We definitely live in a beautiful world. ❤ Happy hiking to you! Be careful, stay safe and enjoy your Hike. 🙏

The sloshing sound of the mud and water makes me cringe. I cant imagine actually trudging thru it. Way to go!
