  • Former Canucks head coach Marc Crawford joins the guys to praise Quinn Hughes’ resilience, Rick Tocchet’s decision-making, and the play of young goalie Arturs Silovs who gets pressed into service. Not to mention, Crow has had some experience being up 3-1 in a series, so his thoughts on the importance of Game 5 in Vancouver.

    Quinn breaking that guy's ankles to make it a 6-4 was the move of the year for me.

    Crow looks different, but the voice is still the same.

    Canucks didn’t have the option to challenge the Forsberg goal.

    Canucks should pair Quinn with Zadorov. He might get a little more protection.

      @@214andydy they’ve paired them before. Not suggesting a permanent change, just do it long enough to close out the series. Edmonton doesn’t play the same sorta physical game.

    The hosts are not doing their job. They will never get a guest who knows more about European hockey than Crow. But yet. They don't ask the obvious question that springs from game 4. Predators goalie, Soros, is Finnish. Canucks goalie, Silovs, is Latvian. Why is it, Marc, that European goaltenders are so prevalent and so dominant in the NHL?

    • @LePrimo420
      @LePrimo420 29 дней назад +1

      Why would they ask a question like that mid Stanley cup playoff series? Nobody gives a fuck about except for you that unless it’s off season

    • @bigamigo4863
      @bigamigo4863 29 дней назад +3

      Because they are talking about the Canucks not a general discussion on the goaltending position

    • @viperswhip
      @viperswhip 28 дней назад +2

      It has been covered by other people who know more about it. It basically boils down to more goalie coaches at younger ages. In Canada, our goalies, up to Banatam are trained primarily by every other player peppering them with pucks. That is not the way to teach the position.
