Please exercise caution, as theres an uptick in manufacturers (specially from China), informing IORs, incorrect HS codes. This in order to pretend that IORs will pay less duty OR, avoid ADD/CVD. So, if you are a new importer, please make sure to consult with a Licensed Customs Broker (preferable one that has the experience and expertise in these types of lanes and products.). This will help you avoid potential pitfalls that can result in harsh penalties, delays, cargo seizures and even legal issues that can lead to imprisonment.
hello, in your case you can ask HTS code from your supplier because they will take responsibility for shipping costs, is it the DDP term or DDU term? Also,, make sure to recheck the HTS code again on hts.usitc.gov/
