I wonder how it switches the lens that actually takes the photo. Are there mirrors to give the upper lens into the middle of the film frame? The middle (35mm?) sits in the correctly alligned spot in orde to expose the film. But the lens next to the viewfinder does not.

I have this camera and it will still shoot pictures when I turn it on but won't change lenses to shoot in portrait mode. Any suggestions?

If it's new batteries installed, there's probably something wrong mechanically or electronically. Probably best to let a camera repairman assess and repair it.

ISO will depend on the DX code on the film.
