    Arsenal kick off in the League Cup Final at Wembley and start an attack. Various shots of match. Cooper scores goal for Leeds, pan with Cooper as team-mates congratulate him, Arsenal players seen arguing with referee Les Hamer's decision to allow the goal. Repeat of the goal from a closer position: the ball comes in from the corner, Leeds centre forward Madeley jumps at Arsenel keeper Furnell knocking him down. Stop motion shows the incident. Stop motion ends then the scene continues as Furnell sprawls on the ground and the goal is scored. L/S scoreboard showing 1-0 to Leeds. More shots of match, there is a tense atmosphere between the teams. There is a scuffle between Leeds' goalie Sprake and Arsenal's McLintock, escalates into brawl involving several players, the ref separates them.
    L/S crowd at half time. Various shots match in second half. Bremner attempts second Leeds goal and almost knocks down Furnell - a second fight comes close to erupting. More shots match. L/S referee Hamer blowing the whistle for full time. L/S Leeds fans cheering. Panning shot Leeds players holding up cup and running around the pitch. M/S police stopping overexcited fan invading pitch. M/S Bremner being lifted onto his team-mates shoulder, he holds up the cup.
    Arsenal include: Jim Furnell, Frank McLintock, Ian Ure, Jon Sammels.
    Leeds include: Sprake, Billy Bremner, Paul Madeley, Terry Cooper, Gary Sprake, Jackie Charlton.

    .marvellous footage and in the day when winning a domestic cup was a real honour ... the premier league changed all that

      @@davidoflinn4101 was a honour to watch football 60s 70s. when I knew the names of most players now ain't got a clue thankfully I watch championship

      When we were younger , no match was live except for the League cup final and of course the F A Cup Final. The build up watching the teams leave the hotel follow the team buses on route to Wembley via eye in fhe sky. Premiership and sky killed the romance on the days out to Wembley.
