    That kid doing the AC routine for those two girls is really onto something. I got really into card magic my senior year and just after graduating. When I was 20 I got my first (and only) paid gig when a friend of mine from HS had to hire entertainment for a casino night. I only had to do 2 hours but got free entry, food, drink, and entries into the contests plus like $50; but the experience of actually performing for large groups of strangers in a professional environment really gave me confidence I never had before and is still with me now over a decade later. I don't really do card magic much anymore (sometimes for my kids and little cousins), but that experience has helped me in so many situations personally and professionally I can't describe it.
    Long rambling post about me over with, he's maybe 15 on the outside? He's already got the confidence to perform for two girls who didn't appear to be like close friends in public like that? He's gonna go far, be it in magic or whatever else he chooses.

    As a non-magician, I just wanna say, every single trick bamboozled my brain. I wish I was a magician, I have a really basic book and some skills I used to maintain, but I don't have the dexterity to do magic in this way, and because of my crummy hand-eye coordination, I probably never will. Magic will never cease to amaze me, I don't care how much of it *could* be done with CGI, I love the fact that it isn't.

  • @OfficialPhazeMusic
    @OfficialPhazeMusic 4 года назад +1

    Lol Chris I like the advice you gave the young magicians about getting out there and not even having to know the craziest hardest tricks because at the end of the day, lay people don’t know all this stuff, so a couple simple card tricks, maybe pepper in a couple ambitious card phases, and ull have them eating out of the palm of ur hand in NO TIME. Just get a couple tricks down to where u can perform them flawlessly without even having to think about It and hit em with It.. if u ask if u can show them a trick and they say yes, then HIT EM WITH IT! And like u said Chris, if they are receptive to It and they get into it, start slowing It down a little, work a little patter into the tricks and milk the payoff at the end... if it’s a vanish make It dramatic and open ur hand sllllooooooowlyyy, if it’s ambitious card, flip the top card SLLLLOOOOOOWWWWLLLYYYY.. It (revealing super slow) actually adds value to the payoff if you do It right, It enhances the “HOLY SH!T” moment much more than just “ok yea here u go ur cards in the middle now it’s on top k thanks baiiiii....” anyway.. rant over.. just wanted to thank u Chris for the video, which was great as always and piggyback on what u were saying for kids who struggle working up the courage to perform for ppl at school or perform for girls.. listen when I was in tech school in the air force... I had my parents ship me all of my decks (regular ones, svangali, mental photography, rising card, a bunch of stuff, plus I had bought some of the instant download stuff from Wayne Houchin on ellusionist..... bruh, I was SLAYYYYYYING anyone and everyone in my dorm building (females on first floor, guys on second and third floors) even the higher ups loved me, our squadron first sergeant would come visit our dorm and ask for me to come see him and show him a trick, our captain....everyone loved it and It was sooo much fun. And I just had maybe like 10 killer tricks or so that I just did over and over and over so I got really really good at them and learned the best psychological angles for the patter and certain things to do and say during the performances so at the end of the trick, people wouldn’t think, oh wait u probably did _______ when u did ______ .. like I had done the tricks so many times for so many people that I was able to perform them in such a way to eliminate the possibility that they would THINK they figured It out based on Times when people thought they saw something or thought I may have done something at a particular stage of a trick so I would purposely show my hands completely empty at key points or put the deck reeeeally far away or at a reeeally impossible place for me to steal cards from It like the spectators pocket or something or like very very deliberately count out FOUR cards.. I ONLY HAVE FOUR CARDS.. slooowly and cleanly count out the 4 so later they wouldn’t be like oh the card was there the whole time It was actually 5 cards... etc. anyway.. GET OUT THERE AND MEET SOME CHICKS!!! they will love It. Especially if u ask them if u can show them a trick and they say yes... don’t be a creeper and just do It... get the ok, and ull have em. If ur patter is even mildly funny even if It’s in an intended cheesy way, they will love you to death. Even if ur not the best looking dude, the nerdiness and pureness of the art of magic and the practice and dedication It obviously takes to learn will make you more attractive to them. And if you can blow them away with a trick or 2, not just “oh that was cool” but like “HOLY SHIT ARE YOU SATAN???” That adds MAJOR VALUE to you from their perspective. And not just from the females, it’s a super social powerup in general if you have 1 or 2 absolute bangers in ur little Batman toolkit..anyway guys. This was mad long. And I’m out. If anyone has any questions or maybe wants me to teach them the list of tricks I used when I was in the air force slaying poon using magic as an ice breaker message me. Or find me on Facebook and hit me up i would love to help. Find me on Facebook @ Facebook.com/phazer001

      He is dealing and using the tenkai palm together, so look into that. He made up the trick himself because it is a versatile sleight.

      I think he means to say that the V3 deck does not only change by colour but also by design. Might be wrong, he only knows, lol

    Watching most of these at 0.25 reveals the secret 😂 the 4 of diamonds from the second clip his thumb slides the top card away and the 4 of diamonds is underneath it. The cover card drops in his lap 🙌
