Thx a million! I had F4 error on our Kuppersbusch IGV 645.2 which has turned 12 yrs old. I read somewhere that it is a Whirlpool so your video worked great. I was sceptic though because my pressure switch did not have a lot of crud in the grid, it was more on the sides on the seal. I cleaned all visible crud away with a toothbrush and some washing up liquid, I also cleaned the contact which had some leaked yellow brown grease on it, I also scraped off built up corrosion with a small flat head screwdriver on the copper parts of the contact. I did buy a new sensor before I had tested the result of the cleaning but it was only EUR 11 with shipping online in Germany. The machine did a full 2 hrs programme directly after the service and it went all the way to the 3 beeps end with no errors! I am so grateful for this DIY video, this was the first time I ever worked on a dishwasher before, my wife was ready to buy a new one but I told her that I wanted to give this a try first. THX! THX ! THX!
Ace video. Took the pressure switch off and the grill was choked with gunk. Cleaned it but still didn’t work. Took it off again and removed the grill and cleaned the diaphragm and rebuilt. Then realised I’d isolated the water 🙄. Working a treat now. Much appreciated
Thank you very much for your videos, I managed to clean my pressure sensor in Whirlpool ADG 7550 and it has just successfully finished its washing cycle without any problems! :-) I experienced four flashes (F4) - that is draining error but without any water inside. I had to (after unplugging!): 1) unscrew 2 screws holding the washer to other cabinets, pull it out (checking the hoses), 2) unscrew the bottom front panel (4 torx screws), 3) lay it on its side (wiping thew spilled water, not that much), 4) unscrew two more torx screws to remove the bottom, 5) then following this video to get the pressure sensor out, 6) taking of the grid was most difficult (I probably broke thin part of the plastic behind the ledges holding it there), 7) cleaning it (totally full of stuff), 8) putting it all together following your video again. I didn't need to dismantle the front door. I 'm extremely happy not only to save the money, but also to understand something better and getting even more love from my wife becoming hero of the day. ;-)
just to aid others - I had flashing 4 lights problem, first step find out if pump if faulty - dishwasher should be empty of water then put around 2 litres in dishwasher and turn on - check it drains out the pipe, then after open dishwasher and remove pressure switch, mine was clogged with grease, disassemble clean and operate small button inside with a toothpick or similar a few times, reassemble and try again - mines working perfect now! Thanks for video!
indeed these prices are a bit different from the ones in germany. this dishwasher is 5 y. old + cost me €300 so i guess it is not as decent as i would like, but it kept my dishes very clean. the other problem you mentioned is a good & honest repairer, here in germany it is the same problem. a picture would not help you either, i suppose, if i only knew where to look. thanks again i am still stunned how great your expertise opinion is and that you are willing to share it with others,
Great video, helped me to fix that error after cleaning the clogged pressure grid. When you insert the pressure switch back, you need to push it in considerably, otherwise cannot lock it.
FA or F11 (11 flashes) is WI failure (Water indicator) This can be Faulty WI microswitch, weak contact, wiring broken (in the door usually). One of these three is the normal fault.... The electonics receives the water pulse signals and the WI says when it is full to correct level, so if no faults found then consider the pcb control board as the fault. The error occurs when the info mismatches, cycle stops, water drains out and error indicated.
Hi, used this video a few years to fix the f4 pressure switch fault. Today I fitted a new NTC as per your advice. Unfortunately still getting the F1 error code. Is there a way to factory reset the dishwasher to clear board of faults?
This was a very helpful video on understanding the parts of the diplopat dishwasher unfortunately im having an f2 code do you have a video on that problem, thankyou.
Hi, I have a Diplomat ADP 8132 dishwasher which has stopped heating. I have checked the element, 28 ohms, the thermostat works correctly. All programs complete their cycles without heat. There are no error indicator lights. No idea what to try next. Hope you can help.
my dishwasher has no error codes but it switches off after 3 or 4 minutes and there is water in the bottom ,it is a diplomat dishwasher adp8322 any help please.
omg you are great, thats exactly what it does, the cycle stops water drains out and error is indicated. would it, in your opinion, make sence to get it repaired? or even repair it myself, but i am quiet a greenhorn when it comes to electronics. how could i test a faulti water indicator, weak contact or brken wiring? the dw was moved when we moved to a new loc maybe the transport could have caused it. i am so happy that you hit it right on the spot, the only question is now, how to get rid of it.
it takes water, heat, detergent and wash pump action to clean the dishes. Are you missing one? The top basket is feed by a rear tube (on the back wall) check the fitting of the tube at the bottom, broken lugs can allow it to flex upward, check the upper basket sealing to the rear tube. Leaks in either place will result in top basket poor wash results. Common fault is wash spray pump not working or clogged with food debris (swetcorn or rice etc), can you hear water spraying about the cabinet?
nice video, would you have any clou what 11 x blinking means on a bauknecht gsfs 5321, does that concur with error 11? and would you know what to do in that case? we've got the dishwasher open already and it looks just like the one in your video on the inside ;) i*ve tried german d.i.y panels but they do not seem to know anything at all and i am going in circles.
Hi! Tanks for this awesome video! I hoped iT was the pressure switch being clogged up, but alas. When i start the dishwasher normally à distinct humming sound was heard. I guess the pump doing something. No when i start it hear nothing. After a minute or so, water will pour in, and a few minutes later, the error happens. Do you think my pump is just gone? ITS the f4 error, btw. Thanks for any help you can give me.
As I can't se the dishwasher it's hard to say if the repair is worth it. A faulty WI replacement will come in @ £90 to £110 depending on local labour and cost of part, the pcb alone will top £150. You need a good repairer to give honest advice about the viability of the repair versus replacement. A decent built in dishwasher will easily be £600 + and under £400 will be much lower, quality and reliability wise.
Hi. I got an F4 error. I did check and clean the pressure switch ( it was all sticky..like honey). I cleaned it carefully and plugged it back in. but still I have the F4 error at the exact same time (Express 40º, takes 38 min.. it pumps in water, but at minute 28 it stops pumping water, then I can hear the engine humming, at minute 24 it stops and shows the F4 error again). please help me.. I don't know what to do.
***** I have a bauknecht GSIK 6528 WS, it's second hand- I can't afford me a new one, as I'm just a poor austrian student. The machine seemed to be in very good condition...
Did you also clean the grid filter in the middle of the machine under the propeller? sometimes useful to work with a mirror since it is always a lot of built up crud there.
Hi, Im getting the F4 fault, checked and cleaned the pressure switch (it was very clean anyway) and still have the fault. I dont think water is coming in. Any tips please ?
Great advice, I fixed it. I took the door off and I could see a wire had come loose from the wire loom. I traced it up and it had pulled its connector from the socket. Simply pushed it back in and its back working. Nice one Michael 😁😁
i have a bauknecht gsfs 6440 the green led lamp blinks 5 times than pauze than 5 times etc etc can some one tel me what that is i have clean the inside and alsow the pump i think it has a bluw thing with magnet

My husband followed your precise and easy-to-follow instructions and fixed our dishwasher! Hurrah! Thank you so much!!!
I was lost for weeks and my kitchen was a mess. Now everything's getting better - thank you so much for your help!

Thank you so much! It took me a while to get that pressure thing out, but now my old dishwasher is as new again!

Superb. Cleared f4 fault using a toothbrush and water pistol to clean pressure switch in situ! Thanks very much.

As already said on the other video, it save the life of my dishwasher. Thanks again.
Excellent - clear and helped resolve problem with minimum fuss. Highly recommended.
JUST FIXED A F4 ERROR ON MY BAUKNECHT DISHWASHER.. MANY MANY THANKS
Very helpful video, there was a lot of sediment on the pressure switch. Cleaned it, problem solved.
pressure sensor was goomed up indeed causing an F4. thanks for the video.
Wonderful. Today is the 13th of January 2023. I will try to solve the F1 error. Thanks a lot.
You saved my dishwater . I am so happy!!! Thank you very mouch!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this video!! You probably saved me 600 pounds!!
Interesting pressure switch design! Never seen something like this before.
thanks a lot man! - this is the only video on youtube that was able to solve my F4 error
Sir you are worth you weight in gold, I found a shard of glass in the pump housing
You saved my dishwasher. Thank you so much.
Excellent tutorial. Worth a million

Thanks man! We succeed to fix error code 4 because of this video! Awesome!

Saved me a bundle! Much appreciated!
thanks a lot for your advice, it helped fix the problem and the dishwasher is working again :) Great job
It worked (error F4 solved, by cleaning the pressure switch).
Fantastic bit of RUclips - so clear - I don't suppose you have an explanation for how to deal with a F11 (turbidity sensor) problem?
Great video but my ADG7560/1 doesn't have the pressure switch in that position. The molding is there but it must be located somewhere else.
This was a very helpful video on understanding the parts of the diplopat dishwasher unfortunately im having an f2 code do you have a video on that problem, thankyou.

Michael Connolly Pressure switch works, coul dbe a fault on the PCB board itself ?
