Mark, I remember hiking to the Continental Divide and just being in awe, fortunately we climb up with just a few supplies and used our rain ponchos to sled down as far as we could. But on rigorous trips there is always a humbling moment that just wells from inside. It was so beautiful. I bet you say this is the last trip but you are right. You might have to make a couple more for the Boys. It is going to be amazing to see all of you together. I bet when Lauren saw that footage she was so touched. Because what I think was a soul stirring moment Your Heavenly Father and your Sweet Lauren were kindling in your heart. I will never take that journey but through eyes and your love for Alaska, I experienced it 10 fold. At times my feet hurt. Thank you for letting us come along. That Ram was beautiful.
Thanks Marcella, it was a great hunt. It is always special to be up in the mountains. I’m hoping to take the boys individually over the next few years as they get older and stronger.
Truly beautiful land. I always think if it's so beautiful down here, there's no imagining what it will be like in heaven. It was awesome to hear you give God thanks for your opportunity and for your wife, very special! This may be a stupid question, but can you eat Ram? Should it taste like lamb? Just wondering. Fantastic video, Mark, thanks for taking us along!!!
Sheep meat tastes ok, but in my opinion it’s not nearly as good as moose or deer. Some people will bristle at that as many sheep hunters swear it’s the best meat ever, but after eating 7 sheep and 15+ moose, I disagree.
No, those bears were in berry chomping mode and were more worried about eating every blueberry in sight than us. Every bear we saw that got our scent took off running a full speed. These are wild bears and as soon as they smell a human they are usually headed away fast.
Great video thanks for sharing. Did a sheep hunt in the mid 90 s in the brooks range killed a beautiful 40 inch ram . Brings back memories and sore feet. God bless
Glacial water is the coldest you will ever drink and always has a bit of silt in it. Great hunt.
Beautiful country Mark.

Wow, I’ve always wanted to hunt the DCUA. Such a neat area up there. Hope you have a great hunt.
Bet there’s gold chunks there at the glacier bottom where you crossed at.

Very beautiful but weren't you worried about the bears

I'm here for the beautiful views and epic scenes, l felt sorry for the Ram though. Stunning once again. Thanks to you both for sharing 👍

Sheep hunting sticks with you. I’d love to take a 40” Ram.
Keep hunting you'll be rewarded with one they are still out there .
Wow what a ram! Did this ram go 40”? Looks like he’s right there!
I think 38”, it had great mass though and s deep drop. Really nice ram.
Great video again! Did you carry the ram in your backpack, or just the horns that Paul is holding? 🤔
We carry out all of the meat and eat all of our harvest. Thanks for watching!
is so beautiful
Big wild country up there.
I'm way too out of shape to do that kind of stuff. I'm also too ugly. 🤪
