And is not a joke. The duel writer for the whole anime (yes, there is a guy who writes what card is used and when) Said he had Big problema because soulburner's deck was too good, SO putting him in losing situations was a Big challenge
@@charge2025 It would have been fine if that Gate of Fire could negate bigger amount of damage so it doesn't feel like it JUST exists to eff with Trickstars. And maybe negating battle damage too so it feels more like its just a defensive card in general than it just happen to exist solely to mess with Blue Girl.
one thing i liked about this duel is how bohman started spaming traps from the hand after absorbing aqua, which allowed him to copy marincess's playstyle

This would enhance their deck to be able to use that counterpart’s respective summon (fusion for yuri, synchro for yugo, xyz for yuto, and pendulum? for yuya). For example, when yuya absorbed yuto, he gained access to yuto’s phantom knights and xyz, or when yuri beat yugo, he gained access to synchro. Something similar to that
This defeat might have been different if Flame didn't die, his death made Soulburner unstable and without him he became way more careless even Bohman said that his victory didn't mean much do to that during Lightning vs Varis

This kind of thing, with the spell/trap cards is why I used 2 copies of Dark bribe in legacy of the duelist link evolution deck. Drawing a random card has decent chances of screwing the opponent over on top of their spell/trap card being negated. ONLY stacking the deck prior or literal pure luck really saves them.
I always have problems when my opponent Reincarnate Link Summon Pyro Phoenix. But this guy Bohman, dealt with it easily even though he met that monster for the first time.

He may won, but Bohman doesn't was satisfied for the previous intervention of Lightning. He knows that Soulburner was a great duelist and a worthy oponent.
@ i think his deck has potential in tcg/ocg All you need are real main deck monsters and few things to boost his extra deck, since by mechanic his deck has strong points being able to make basically Skill Drain monsters to 4 atributes. Any anime deck has to get good support to play in current game but i am sure Bohman cards have a lot of potential.
