    Tips like these, and overall communication are so important for good friendships and relationships. When I've had "issues" with friends in the past, we've sat down and talked about both of our perspectives, and looked for the overlap in that Venn diagram to understand each other better, and it's helped resolve the issues.
    Great first video 😀 Can't wait to see more!

    • @JakobManthei
      @JakobManthei  2 года назад +1

      Wow, so cool that you also looked at relationships with Venn diagrams! It really clicked for me as well 😇
      Just like for you, it helped me to see exactly where issues might lie while at the same time helping me to store all the great tips from all those books haha
      For the next video I am currently watching every single video of a RUclipsr to produce a video of the main takeaways from that Journey (also about social skills).
      After a month of squared eyes watching the videos, I am almost done. Looking forward to see if you also enjoy this one!

      Thank you so much for the encouraging words 😇
      Especially with this being my first video, it means a lot and motivates me to keep producing the best I can.
      Regarding the gamifying video, I am currently primarily focusing on social skills and will slowly move towards personal development later on. However, I just opened a new folder with video ideas mentioned in the comments with yours being the first on the list.

To help you grow the quality of yours videos even more, I’d suggest elevating your sound design and sound effects as well as changing the font you use to something less common but still maintaining your brand identity (warm, kind, educational)…

    Bro I appreciate your Video. But I struggle to understand and use the principle to be interested in other people. I do not really understand how I should become interested in other people and like them. Is genuine interest when you care and think about the other peoples need and feelings? Is it also to just talk to someone so you both can interact about a topic. How would you describe it

    • @JakobManthei
      @JakobManthei  Год назад

      Thanks!
      Yeah, the application is a bit more tricky indeed, but I really think it's at the core of great relationships.
      I actually think that deep down we are genuinely interested in others, but then sometimes we are too caught up in our lives, think mainly about ourselves, and forget how interesting the perspectives, lives, or experiences of others can be. So I think the best way to apply this, is to recognize when you lose some interest in others and then put just a bit more effort to focus on the person sitting in front of you.

      @@JakobManthei Hey Jakob. I tried your simple tip but often Im just not interested in what the other person has to say. Is interest not something that you cannot really control? In some things we are interested in some things not. But how can I really cultivate an interest for others? I often fall in this trap of trying to be different in a way that I have to listen to someone else and being interested in others even when I dont want to. I feel like it kills my authenticity when Im doing so because I also want others to be interested in me. Am I trying to hard to be interesting by being interested? Is this maybe simple but I overcomplicate it? Im just confused and I would be glad if you could help me.
