- Before any Boruto stans want to try to sacrifice me at an altar as of seeing the title of this video. I’m here to tell you this video is completely satire, yes a joke in 2021 lmao that’s crazy I know. I wouldn’t call myself the biggest Boruto fan, nor will I call myself the biggest boruto hater either. This video is just talking about how much hate boruto got when it was just starting out. Honestly, I would admit that Boruto has improved over the years with the anime being semi-decent, and the boruto manga being actually not that bad, so I’ll give you boruto fans that much to say the least.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is a Japanese manga series written by Ukyō Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto, and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. It began monthly serialization with Kodachi as writer and Kishimoto as editorial supervisor in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine, Weekly Shōnen Jump, in May 2016 and was transferred to Shueisha's monthly magazine, V Jump, in July 2019. In November 2020 Kodachi stepped down, with Kishimoto taking over as writer. Boruto is a spin-off and a sequel to Kishimoto's Naruto, which follows the exploits of Naruto Uzumaki's son, Boruto Uzumaki, and his ninja team.
Boruto originated from Shueisha's proposal to Kishimoto on making a sequel to Naruto. However, Kishimoto rejected this offer and proposed his former assistant Mikio Ikemoto to draw it; the writer of the film Boruto: Naruto the Movie, Ukyō Kodachi, created the plot. While both Kodachi and Ikemoto are in charge of the manga. An anime television series adaptation started airing on TV Tokyo on 5 April 2017. Unlike the manga, which began as a retelling of the Boruto film, the anime begins as a prequel set before Boruto and his friends become ninjas in a later story arc. A series of light novels have also been written.
if they wanted money, they could make side stuff like itachi's past. kakashi's past. minato's past etc all sorts of things. they could've done a whole 50 episode of how madara and hasirama grew up and fought in the wars. how they died etc

they rushed everything too quickly, they had so much potential with 20 year old naruto growing up to becoming the hokage rather than his son dealing with those new enemies.
i'd honestly think it would be bigger than shippuden if they did it right then after "winning" he then becomes the hokage and changes the ninja world, the end. would just need around 100-150 episodes

For the first time, boruto is actually boruto and not just boruto sitting back and letting naruto take care of all the stuff. I think the timeskip is most likely gonna be better.

Naruto and Naruto shippuden really got me hyped for the next part of the Naruto story but the first episode really just showed how much hell I was in for

They should’ve just kept Naruto and the Gang as the mains and the kids as the secondary. There’s still much more to tell about them as adults especially since we could see what Naruto’s life is like as he reaches his lifelong dream as hokage from his POV.

Suffice to say, even if boruto becomes a 100 times what sasuke and naruto were at the peak of their strength, he wont stand a chance against goku, ultra instinct is just that strong
I personally feel that the only reason people "enjoy" Boruto is because they missed out on Naruto.
Like the new fans mostly like to feel invested in a growing storyline ( a series which is yet to ended) and by watching Boruto they feel like they are contributing to Naruto if that makes any sense.

I was among them who thought Boruto series might be equal or even better than Naruto series, when it was announced. Boruto relies to heavily on the regular series for its success. You shouldn’t need to use the old series so much for a new generation of characters.
Examples being all the characters names are their parents names combined, their outfits and personalities are their parents combined. The only fights fans care about the most always involve Naruto and Sasuke rather than the new characters making their own mark in the show.
On one hand we have people complaining Naruto is barely in the show, on the other hand fillers with the new gen side cast are the most commonly skipped
If they were gonna take this route. They should have just kept the series centered around naruto and sasuke while their kids would be secondary.

I get they wanted to keep that cash flow especially since Naruto and anime in general blew tf even more in 2015. Part me is happy they didn’t continue Shippuden and make it ass but I also feel like if they just continued it instead of Boruto they would of actually tried. The good moments in Boruto are far and in between and 90% of the time they involve the OG characters.
the only thing i liked about boruto was himawari.
they have to delete the anime and either do a prequel or a slice of life with himawari and naruto having the peace they deserved for at least 200 episodes just to finish naruto anime with an happy end and pay respect to all who watched naruto and waited for him to be happy
then they can start the action and training and all that with naruto showing up every 300 episodes more or less as an last resort, go all out and obliterate every enemy just as he should with out nerfs. since sasuke only has 1 arm its okay if he is nerfed but they could give him an epic gamer moment where he gets an arm and goes all out like netero from hxh and ends up dead but with a full fight full budget 2 arms epic one of the top fights in the anime with naruto last resort.

You animate a certain portion of chapters while letting the manga go off during those months or even a year of break and develop, then animate them. It gives more time for the studio to animate the series in much better quality and allows the fights to look better and get almost movie level quality. Examples...MHA, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Fire Force, Edens Zero, Ranking of Kings, Etc.
Notice how there aren't many long running shounen anime because everyone is tired of watching filler shit. Not only that we've seen with the examples above that everything in an anime can better if it's seasonal. The animation, pacing, budget and much more has more time to be thought out and worked on. I really hope this series turns out to be a GT of some sorts because it genuinely sucks. Not just the anime but the manga too. It's sales are doing alot worse than any of the series I mentioned above (which is kinda pathetic given how much of an impact Naruto left in the world).
I'm saying all of this as a true Naruto franchise fan but also as a critique of when things are going wrong. I'm glad more and more people are noticing this because I feel as though boruto fans have been brainwashed into believing what they're getting is considered good when there are series that do way better than boruto in every aspect and aren't as long.

I honestly don't have anything against the character of Boruto, but since we didn't get to see much of the relationships of Naruto after shippuden, combined with the fact the we don't get to see the old cast as much in the show, My feeling for wanting more of Naruto isn't gratified; when I finished Naruto shippuden I wanted to see more of Naruto and Hinata, I wanted to see more of Iruka sensei and the others. Overall, I think people would have felt more satisfied if we got a backstory of Boruto before we actually got to see Boruto as a story on its own. the reason Naruto shippuden was as successful was because it was a direct continuation of Naruto.

Im just neutral about Boruto, its not horrible but not super great like some people say. When I first watched it I hated it because of how much of a brat Boruto was and that was just one reason. After watching it for a while I decided it wasnt all that bad although I probably just watched it to see Naruto again but I just lost interest in the show.

And yeah, anime canon is a thing, but when most of your canon is anime canon and the manga pace is barely faster than a snail, you are basically turning that "canon" into filler by not advancing the plot in any meaningful way

My favorite character from boruto is sarada and boruto
I mainly just hate Boruto because they killed my boi Kurama, but also because I would have much rather seen a story about Minato or the first and second hokages or something
There's also a lot of other reasons I don't really like it, one example being that the antagonists are really shallow and they didn't really develop Boruto in a way that makes you like... NOT want him to die, so whenever he gets in a sticky situation, it's just kinda like "ok I guess Boruto's gonna die. Cool."

dude compared to how it was in the beginning boruto anime is a lot better now. i don't know how you guys think about anime or anything, but boruto manga definitely is one of the best new gen manga. i'm not saying like it's better than jujutsu kaisen or anything but it definitely is a lot good

to me borutos my favorite anime its just needs to get rid of the childish fillers and needs to start killing off old characters and make more development in the characters, these mf do not have the bonds they did in naruto and they need better osts for character's when they talk about deep shit with each other and less fillers but make the fillers have some meanings to the protagonist of that episode and boruto will be very good

It's because boruto receives it's adaptation way to early like peirrot studios earning pretty well from Naruto and when it's about to end they right afterwards started with boruto. It's not even a year of manga and anime difference.

There is a big difference in saying "My favourite Anime is..." and "The best Anime is..."
Of course someones favourite Anime can be Boruto, but saying its the best Anime implies every other Animes is worse as Boruto and whenever someone is saying that, they deserve to be shit on.
You can't tell anyone that Boruto is seriously better as FMA:B, One Piece, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Monsters, Demon Slayer, Borutos Dad Shippuden, Jujutsu Kaisen, Hunter x Hunter, Code Geass, My Hero Academia, Overlord, Keijoo!, Attack on Titan and i could go on for 200+ more Animes which has a better Story as Boruto and YES this fucking includes Keijoo, because this Anime doesn't even try to take themself serious like Boruto did and failed.
Like i said, if you want, you can say your favourite Anime is Boruto, this is a personal opinion, but you can not say its the best Anime.
