I've been picking up scary/horror videos again (after not watching being saved)and I've had a stunt in prayer and Bible reading and also haven't felt the Holy Spirit but, once a week. Our Holy Spirit is awesome! I was listening to this teaching, and was folding some clothes in the room. Ps David was talking about the Holy Spirit has likes and dislikes. And I remembered many times as I worshipped alone, I would cry like a baby, speaking in tongues at the same time and also declaring and praying. I asked the Holy Spirit that was something He likes? And all of a sudden, I started to cry. He told me to kneel down and said the ground you stand is holy ground. I quickly knelt down and He spoke to me some of the things that have been in my heart and He lifted the cloud over me. Thank you Holy Spirit. I give you all praise, all honor and all glory!
I would backslide over and over for years. Couldn’t put away sin. I was grieving the Holy Spirit. It breaks my heart that I had such filth in my life. My heart would always grow cold and I would fall away. I finally in this last year after nearly 20 years, saw who the Holy Spirit is and the power that He gives. I’ve had to repent of so much disgusting sin and I’m so thankful that I’m still loved and wanted by my Father. I’m so thankful for your teaching.

That “Holy Spirit conviction” feeling is overwhelming at times. It’s needed for sure, but I hate when I have that disappointing feeling, however, it lets me know I have to do better.

They are also very useful to me while commuting in trains during rush hours here in Tokyo. I just had an experience yesterday that I was just filled with joy but then as I got home I was distracted with this video blogs that were so entertaining and they may be good but if they are not those that welcome the Holy Spirit then they are just waste of time specially when fighting to have that quiet time with the Lord with a busy mind and exhausted body. I’ve learned that I must be conscious of what comes in and out of my mind to always make the Holy Spirit at home in me. And His Presence is my everything.

Just to make one thing clear brothers and sisters, we are born again with the Holy Spirit in us as a free gift of God. All that's left for us to do is to develop a relationship with Him. When we open our Bibles and pray is how we develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit. By obeying Him also do we enhance our relationship with Him. By not doing any of the things sited we begin to backslide in our faith

Wow! This was just perfectly timed for me. On Saturday I was in a park with my family and the Holy Spirit drew my attention towards 3 people to pray for them to get healed but sadly I didn´t obey his voice... When you just said "delayed obedience is disobedience" the Lord immediately brought this back to my mind and I repented for not considering his voice. I was preaching the next day and apparently He used me there anyway, so I´m thankful for his patience and mercy but I really don´t want to sadden the Holy Spirit any more... Same thing happened to me a couple months ago when the Holy Spirit told me to pray for a specific person to be healed, and I didn't obey, so I felt the HS's heavy conviction. Thank God we serve a God who is so merciful though.

I am praying for your son. When I saw your comment it made me think of something my father told me a few days ago. He said no matter what don't give up on your faith. When we are faced with trial we must trust God. I know how you feel, when I see someone that I should help or pray for my heart breaks because I want them to be happy and know that the void they are trying to fill can only be filled by God. Same thing happened to me a couple months ago when the Holy Spirit told me to pray for a specific person to be healed, and I didn't obey, so I felt the HS's heavy conviction. Thank God we serve a God who is so merciful though.

Praise the Lord, Brother David. I am thankful to LORD that he like always, choses to speak to me through you today also. You and your Ministry has been a blessing to me. I was too much grieved because of my family reasons ,then Spirit of Lord lead me here. I thank God for his faithfulness. You are true Brother, more we live in surrenderance to Holyspirit ,the nature of Jesus ,his likings n dislikings start imbibing in us. Its my testimony too, with growing in Lord's spirit, he told me not to watch movies , songs of movies which has nothing to do with Glory of Lord. More we grow in Lord, more he draws us from useless wordly things. But i thank you to guide me ,how to eliminate the outer distractions, without imposing on others. Please can you pray for my son he needs God in his life. I want my kind loving son back. Some bad things happened an changed him.
I am praying for your son. When I saw your comment it made me think of something my father told me a few days ago. He said no matter what don't give up on your faith. When we are faced with trial we must trust God. I know how you feel, when I see someone that I should help or pray for my heart breaks because I want them to be happy and know that the void they are trying to fill can only be filled by God. I know now that I should step out more to help people and be obedient to God.
