Hello, if you ever need to prime those carburetors again, what I used to do is on top of the carburetor each one has like a brass wing nut and then like a brass cover with the gasket underneath you just spin that off pull each one of those off the top of the carburetors. Then you get a turkey baster fill up the turkey base for both you know squeeze it let it out fill it up with gas and then you just squirt those in the not where the Jets are right there but in the just behind those inward towards the the motor there you'll see it it's shaped like a D fill up the carburetor bowls up with fuel, fires right up first turn of the key.

There are more hoses that run from gas neck filler, and from breather hoses to the vent tank behind passenger head on the quarter panel. These old Japanese hoses were made from natural rubber and not synthetic rubber. These will need replacing so fumes don't enter the cock pit.
Put a very bright light in the hatch area. Put a blanket over the hatch glass. In the pitch black darkness. Look for light coming from around the hatch. Also take off the rear tail light and license plate finish panel and look for light. Also look under car around fuel tank for light.
This will be all the places exhaust fumes, come into car.
Always replace the system at 50 yrs old, it's not a second hand car. So replace the system. This will bring reliability BACK to this VERY RELIABLE Japanese Ferrari.
Most people only fix a small part of a system ! Then say the car is unreliable and always breaking down
" That is not the Car, that is the person ,so called fixing it!
The Clutch, buy the Master and the slave and the rubber hose ( up grade to stainless steel hose.)
Zcardepot has most parts, always buy Japanese OEM, or Japanese after market supplier. Never ever use cheap Chinese parts on the Samurai Warrior ,this car is!
    How do I know? I own 2 Datsun Z cars. A 73 and a back dated 78.
