A masterpiece. “Ha-Na-Bi-Eh” (はなびえ) are Yukina (Vo.), Matsuri (Gu., Vo.), Hettsu (Ba.), Sae (Dr.). They are the most exciting, innovative band going. Check out all their other videos, especially their metal cover of the pop song Odo (Dance), by Ado. Better yet, do a back-to-back comparison. Both versions are great.
uh yea, the ado cover is so freaking awesome, me personaly saw the cover first, checked the orininal after that, the original is also very good, hanabie did it in their style and took it to another level!
In my country, at school, music lessons are limited to playing beige plastic flute. But in Japan, music lessons at school are serious: guitar, bass, drum, violin, and a whole bunch of instruments. And after school the young japanese gather at Karaoke to take turns singing. And then we're surprised that thousands of bands are swarming in the dark concert halls throughout Japan.
Honestly I think it's more that Japan has these after-school clubs where everyone's expected to do SOMETHING and organise their own club if they need to. There are definitely a lot of bands that came out of starting music clubs (including this one!) - there was this anime series called K-ON that apparently influenced a generation of kids to do it, which is cool. I feel like that's a big part of why there are so many good rock bands in the Japanese scene

Hanabie are 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Their album “Girl’s Reform Manifest” is pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥 too - there’s not a bad track on it. I got it in March and still listen to at least some of it daily. Hanabie and Nemophila have made 2021 bearable.
Honestly I didn't ever expect this kind of song to make it into a western reaction video. That kind of societal ciritcism isn't very common to become popular in Japan. There is a song made by a similar (male) Japnese band about the drug scene there. I'm a bit sad you're not able to really get into the lyrics here. But I'm still happy about the exporsure. Thanks.

Let's be honest. If Babymetal wouldn't have aimed for a international audience we would have missed out quite some awesome music that deserves to be heard by every metalhead on this planet. Few years ago i would have thought, that Japan has such an unique and badass metal scene.
I was enjoy the song and at the end I saw the knife. She killed him because she was in love with him and he was using the Dating App. Is Hanabie criticizing this App¨'????? . This is so awesome
The song's about how people are all up on the dating apps looking for love, but having these meaningless and unfulfilling encounters. I think the video's more of a slasher flick vibe where the player's using people and ends up paying for it!
