yeah the game is a nice story mode game but map encounters that aren't bosses or story segments are always the same. This make the game repetitive very fast
If I were a game maker, I would make original Dragonball story as modern action RPG game. Story itself already has great job classes, items, growth level, bosses, side quests, mini games and all. Think of climbing up Korin tower as mini game and fight Karin to open senzu beans item and flying nimbus for rides, it’d be fun.
That would be so amazing. Especially Dragon Ball, because you could learn flight, different moves when leveling up, imagine obtaining the KaMeHaMeHa from Master Roshi.
I only have this game on ps4 because I don’t own the 5, but I see the world view and camera is slightly better than on 4 for the game. But as far as the dialogue when they are talking it looks the same.
Has anyone also had problems with the game's platinum/achievements? I zeroed and simply didn't win a trophy or an achievement, I started a new game and when I beat Piccolo the trophy didn't pop, I did this several times, I deleted and downloaded the game and did it again and it's still the same, this is super annoying.
I know Kakarot isn’t primarily a fighting game, more of a story adventure RPG, but man the combat was still so dull. Made getting through the game a slog
I would want to see a real play difference in super sayin mode. Meaning when UI GoKU uses UI there should be a substantial gap between his fighting mechanic Vs a weaker opponent such as Mr Hercule. There’s no way that Kerilin should keep pace with Jiren and etc. if they correct this then the DBZ fighting games would be the GOAT. Real time training and stats would allow you to power up and break through your ceiling to reach new heights of power.
Não é um defeito, é uma característica. O jogo é um Action RPG, o foco não é o combate, eles simplesmente não tentaram fazer um combate mais elaborado pois não condiz com o gênero do jogo.

I think the graphic is really good for ps4.. only the environment is flat and hollow. Maybe kakarot 2 or rpg dz on ps5 will be 10x better and larger. I have fond memory of dbz legend on ps1, i hope someday they would do that one.

Good gameplay footage. I think the open world aspect of it is cool. This is just me but I think they could do better than cell shading graphics. The facial animations are not good enough. The colors don't pop enough and ki blasts don't see impressive enough, maybe due to no world damage. Gameplay seems meh, just flying around shooting. You cant change form in freemode. No apparel damage that they could have had Bulma or Chi chi reclothe you. I heard Tenkaichi 2 was the best combat wise, I have Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2 or 3 but that is just really too basic. I also saw a very cool arcade 2d DBZ fighting game. It looked so sick like you are controlling the tv show but ...its 2d. Not sure when the dream dbz game will come but I suppose when you can fly over a city as Vegeta and shoot kai blasts and destroy cities that would be cool af. Have the earth military come after you.

You probably need to change it at your tv settings, or the ps settings. Unless your tv/monitor doesn't support 60fps
