    Thank you so much. God has brought us this far... 🙏. I kind of lost my video making MOJO amidst the health battle. Just trying to squeeze rides in as much as possible to decompress. I'm always glad to answer any questions though. Take care 😊

      Thanks XT250 Rides 🙂! Much appreciated 🙏. It's definitely a big plunge. But after feeling how smooth the wheels are and how great the gearing seems now I'm glad I went for it. They will one day have to pry my old rickety clutch claw off this here bike... it's a keeper.

    How did the back surgery go . Did it make it any better or are you still recovering . Hope you can still get out on the bike a bit , nothing made me smile more than getting back on the bike and going for little rides on the bike after breaking my back in a couple of places and crushing a vertebrae plus breaking 12 other bones throughout my body 4 years ago in a nasty accident. I still need back surgery myself but have been putting it off. Hope it is all going well, keep strong and get back behind the camera or are you giving that a break after reaching the 1k subs.

      You've done amazing considering those extensive injuries. You stroll around hiking like a youngster on those trails so good on you mate. My last surgery was a torn rotator cuff. Just now at 60% recovered. Had a few set backs recovery wise. Hoping to get back in the swing of things soon though. I've had a total of 4 surgeries between my lumbar and cervical. For me recovery from those were easier than either of my shoulders. In my defense I did try riding my Trail125 one armed a week after surgery, until the wife caught me 😳. I'm now allowed to take short strolls now that it's boiling hot out here 🥵. I envy your winter. 5 months to go until it cools off here.

    Hey buddy. I was just re-watching one of your xt250 videos… I love watching the bike in action… Anyway, wondering if your still enjoying it? Any new videos with it coming up? Still prefer the smaller wheels on it? Anyway, hope your safe, and be well!

    • @findingneutral
      @findingneutral  8 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks Urban Frankie. I still have the SM wheels on. Actually never took them off as I've not ridden off road any since. They have performed excellent. The new wheels and gearing have been my favorite mods to the XT250. The bike handles so well on the hardtop now and is just plain fun to ride. Haven't been posting videos since my shoulder repair. Just as soon as that got sorted out the wife then fell ill badly. If and when we get past that I will try and do some updates and still answer questions and comments though.

      I never noticed your message til today! I guess im not too youtube savy… 🤔 My apologies! Anyhow, if you ever gat a chance, i was wondering which xt250 video was where you spoke about that ‘floppy disk’ that was vibrating by your left grip? Ive been going through your vids, but havent been able to find it. Just want to know how you resolved that? And was it a big deal? Anyway, be safe and hope all is well!

    • @findingneutral
      @findingneutral  7 месяцев назад

      @UrbanFrankie Thanks UrbanFrankie. Yes I resolved to floppy disc space thing. All I had to do is push my oem grip on more. I think when they installed it they didn't shove it all the way on.
      And thank you for the well wishes. Cancer sucks. Been helping my wife fight it for a long while now.

      Wow, it seems to be a non issue then. I just so 2 xt’s and both had the disks loose. So i spoke to the tech, and he had no definite answer. And like i mentioned, i couldnt find your video… Thank you so much for answering my question, i really appreciate that! Im sorry for you have been going through, I will keep you in my prayers! Be safe, God bless!

    Off topic but found something really neat. Look at the front headlight of the Serrow compared to the XT. You’ll notice a bar for securing things. If you go to the OME parts page for both bikes it doesn't look like it would be too hard to add it to the XT. I'm thinking about adding it to mine.

    You're exactly right about the speedometer being off with stock wheels. Your bike looks really nice. Zeta has a really nice looking windshield and a video on RUclips. Supposedly it's not compatible with the XT only the Serrow but I bet it is.

    • @findingneutral
      @findingneutral  Год назад

      Thanks again Bent Water 🙂! Appreciate the bike like. The Zeta Windscreen is definitely more stable. Plus no drilling into the front cowling is a nice perk. I too completely feel it would fit the XT250 as well. One thing I'm not sure of if it would accommodate Barkbuster mounts being installed next to them ? Kind of looks like there'd not be enough bar room for both.
      Most bikes I've owned speedometers have been off. I was pretty surprised my new SM gearing all but corrected it.

      @Finding Neutral On my 2021 I installed Zeta Handlebars and Zeta Handguards. I used open ended gribs and mounted my handguard from the end of the handlebar to the triple clamp. I don't post videos bike my bike can be seen on Google Maps Precision Motorcycle Racks. I bought my Rack from them to mount a Givi Trekker top box.

      @Finding Neutral If you don't mind can you look at these wheels on Webike AR1 Wheel Kit SEROW225/250. I like the Gold Wheels but I like these in Titanium much better. They say they're compatible with the XT so I'm thinking I'll have to buy the hubs to mount on them or just use my stock. Do you think they'll be hard to mount on my bike? I know they'll be expensive. I'm also looking into Sun Rims ProCycle carries them and they come in anodized black. They will also install the hubs if I send them. I'm thinking the money I save on shipping from Webike for the A1's I can buy some of the parts I need to have a full set and leave my stock wheels alone. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    • @findingneutral
      @findingneutral  Год назад

      @@not1au I did look around first, but ultimately I liked the idea of getting everything from one place. Plus Procycle said if there were any issues they would stand by their workmanship/product. I opted for them to do a complete build of the wheels to include the rear sprocket and rotors. This way you can just simply swap wheels if going off roading. I'd start by emailing Mike there with what your looking to do and maybe talk with him on the phone (mike_b@procycle.us)
      I'm very particular about my wheels/tires. And I can say I'm extremely pleased with my set thus far. Hope this information is helpful.

    Do you have to do any modifying to mount the flatland racing rack? I bought an xt250 and also want a rack and keep hand rails! Thank you!

    • @findingneutral
      @findingneutral  2 месяца назад

      No modification needed. I'd recommend taking off the plastics by where the handle bolts go during install or you run the risk of scratching them up. With mine it almost seemed like the included spacers were too big and I had to struggle to get them in place. But in the end it all fit. Just have to get them sandwiched in there just right and use some elbow grease. The rack will lift up and down if you grab the rear edge of it and use gentle force as it's only mounts are the 2 where the handles are. I'd day this is more of a rally rack for light day rides. But yeah, I wanted to keep those cool handles and this was one of the few I could find to do so.
