      @@RealDougFields that will be for next time. It's already fixed and running again with a modified Ford 5.4L threaded insert.

      @@PontiacRaysGarage I hope it holds. I do quite a few 2 stroke out board heads with stripped plugs in my machine shop. They are a similar size to V8 plugs and if I dont just weld them closed and re-machine them they will come back at some point.

      Time-sert makes a spark plug repair insert that is permanent

      @@PontiacRaysGarage time sert kit with cutters and thread inserts is almost 300.00
      There is probably a machine shop in your area with the tool.
