No worries mate. You can actually lower the ceiling to cover it but the vans low as it is aint it. However, in the past i have used thin ply as battens and curved the so the centre of the ceiling is the high point and fixed the edges below the loom level.
I’m a carpet fitter by trade. Just wondering Have you tried using FBALL adhesives possible f41 or f73? They are acrylic/ water based. Worth a look. You paint them on wait for them to dry on clear and it stays really sticky. I know it works out cheaper than spray adhesive (and you don’t need to wear a mask in an enclosed area), I’ve yet to do a conversation so I can’t comment on it for your needs but I have carpeted & vinyled over walls. Sealing the carpet on the back doors: fixable carpet bead might do
Straighter line than what? The carpet? It didnt need to be straight as it had edging put onto it and the contour of the rear door seal is not straight so not sure if that was meant to be funny but boris johnson could tell a funnier joke 🤣 Thanks for watching though :)
@@FPV-TV419 i know mate same thats why i said about the joke thing and thanked you for watching. Hard to read tone on text sometimes lol. In all fairness though iv yet to find a straight line in a van lol
Brilliant! Was there much hassle fitting the chairs? Any tips? Would you go for different seats or are mini Cooper the easiest/best? Thank you for showing us
To be fair they was one of the easiest sets to fit and sat at a nice height. Only thing i would be mindful of apart from the rail position is the height. Some seats even on lowest setting sit abit to high for most people. Thanks for watching buddy 👌🏻
Here he is: ruclips.net/video/a0fqYDoyKt4/видео.html Don’t know if it’s any good. Haven’t started mine yet. I’m replacing work van so can wait to get stuck in!! You’ve have some lovely vans you’ve done. Thanks for posting
Thats a good idea but he has the minubus pillar trim without that you would see the bolt. Then again you could cover that with carpet or wooden trim i guess. Its a good idea 👌🏻
Hi yes i did the same as my last Vivaro (the white one) with recycled plastic insulation and then used double sided foil bubble wrap as a vapour barrier. Thanks for watching.
Looking great Drew
Thank you mate i appreciate that :)
Looking good, thanks for the tips on carpeting the loom 👍

Great vid mate some good work gone into the van, I'm early doors on a Vivaro SWB thing is I like my 5 doors so a different design plan I think.
Same van as mine , I've just well almost converted mine. Mine has twin side loading doors thought.
Nice! how did you find it? Iv got the rnr bed in now just got to fit it in the next few days
Nice video
Thanks matey always appreciate positive comments. Cheers :)
I bought some self adhesive rubber "D" trim for mine, they sell it on ebay in different colours, neaten it up, for the rear doors
Sounds perfect. I will take a look. Thanks a lot for that 👌

Sounds really good matey i will certainly give it a try on the next build. Always open to mew suggestions and i appreciate the feedback so thank you.
But does it have sat nav? 😆 Looking good m8 👍
I sold that a long time ago but i had to re watch the video to double check that i mentioned the sat nav 🤣🤣🤦🏻
Hi mate watched your last convert u put a fixed bed in it was brilliant, so how come this time u r going for a rock and roll bed. ?
A fixed double only works in a LWB version of this vehicle. A rnr is also better for some people who need belted seats. Thanks for watching buddy.
Stevie wonder could cut a straighter line 🤣.
Tbf tho, ur doing it, and making videos. Keep it up

Did you put in any insulation? What about a vapour barrier?

I thought you started with a right-hand drive that then turned into a left gand drive 😉
@@maxv77 oh yeah took me a minute 🤣 il try and stick to the same camera side next time 🤣 good observational skills there 😎
Nice van that, out of interest how much did you pay with that kind of mileage? I'm in the market for a Renault Trafic myself, cheers
Cheers matey. I paid a bit more than 5k for it mate. The price of these has shot up through the roof lately to be fair.
@@Baloovanz That's not so bad compared to some of the prices around at the moment, crazy! What milage did you get with that also
Its around 100kish if i remember correctly mate
Don't start carpeting as a full time job
Oh trust me i have no intention to its probably the job i hate doing the most out of everything camper related haha.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
