Prob the most exciting mod yet. I did the same with my pre facelift convertible. It’s gorgeous and your car is going to be insane more than it already is Evan. Grats.
@@EvanGoyuk where did you get the bumper painted? Or how did you get it the same color as your car accurately before installing it? Did they ship it painted already?
Somthing I want to reccomend for your videos, maby set up a "B-roll" style ending to the video showcasing the part/mod/fix you did to the car. Almost like a cinematic little clip that is edited to look nice. Adding horizontal black bars to this clip along with a colour correction and filters can help make the colours pop and the car stand out more. Hope you give it a try. Thx.
Bruh I’m lost I’ve been at it for 2 days now tryna get the front bumper off man. Y’all make this shit look so easy 😢 I’ve taken every bolt off you did except the blickers
Hey, I noticed on the stock exhaust there were these two large plastic pieces sticking out you can see at 5:27 I believe they are brake ducts (not sure at all) do you need to put those back on the new bumper or does it not matter?
Hey Evan, Nice work man. I like how detailed and specific you are explaining the changes as you go along. Most videos on RUclips the subscriber talks so damn much that it becomes painful to watch. I'm usually screaming at the screen saying wtf get to it already. My daughter sits next to me and just laughs. :-) I was wondering if I paid you would you help me do some work on my e46 323ci convertible? My top won't close, it won't latch on. Please let me know. I live in MA as well.
Hey Evan, did the original air and brake ducts connect back together? Does the bumper line up perfectly with original fender liners? I saw in realoem that for the preface there is an adapter to get the bumper grill to sit nicely with the existing air intakes. Did you need this part?
idk if youll respond to this lmao but my bash bar doesnt fit the new bumper. I got it off a ebay but it's oem and fits my 2003 325i idk what to do haha
hello my friend i have one problem with my e46 coming this error at inpa 150 timeout egs my asc not working i dont have abs problem the only is all sensor working at inpa but asc not activate and deactivated so you have any idea about this or you have any account to conduct with you o solved my problem
I tried purchasing the brake ducts from Europe. You have to remember that ZHP bumpers in America came on face lifted models. A ZHP bumper on a pre facelift will needs those “euro” spec brake ducts. They had the m tech kit available on pre face lift models.
Where or how did you get the bumper in the same color as your car? That’s the only thing that’s kept me from doing this on my car. Did your bumper need a clear coat to make it the same level of glossy as your paint? @evangoyuk
@@EvanGoyuk please excuse the novice in me lol but primer is basically just the initial coating of the same color right? The clear coat is what follows and that is obviously... clear.. right?
@@vjeff777 No, primer is not not the initial coating of the observed colour. A primer is what you apply first directly to the surface. In general it is done to promote adhesion of the top coat. So this bumper is unpainted - no top coat, just primer. He will get it painted somewhere in the correct colour and with a clearcoat on top of that.
3 years later and I’m grateful for the pile of e46 videos you’ve made, thank you a million!

@@EvanGoyuk Nice job my man. I’m ordering mine as I type. Question: Did the mounts & hardware come packaged with your bumper, or were they add ons?
Yes they came with it

Thank you for the suggestion. I try sometimes but not always happy with results
I don’t know what looked better, that new bumper or that screensaver 🥵
You need different bumper brackets if you have a facelifted model on the prefl ones it's the same.
Yeah, the wider mounts
Should be easy to find, and shouldnt be too expensive
@@fuckngreat8955 You can get them from the dealer for like 7-9 euro in my country.
@@JakeCraftLTU thats cheaper than i expected,
I thought around €25 for the set
That looks just awesome. Congrats u finally did it 😁
Fuck! Thank you so much, the only installation video I could find with the trimless mtech 2 - the coupe bumper haha

Nice one - finally rid of that naff bumper!
Nice Video 🔥👏🏻 but what kind of screws did u use for the Mounts of the Bumper? My Coupe is missing those and I don’t know which ones I need
Oem from bmw. Look one real oem for part number
@@EvanGoyuk ok thanks i will check it out
What size screw that holds the bumper guide brackets in place?

Would have been much easier to paint it to match the body before installing
You sill see
Maybe you need some new nikes
The fitment is horrible bro what you mean I got my M3 rep from eBay and I don't have that gap you have lol
