Behemoth needs proper instant snap turning. I truly cannot believe a big developer like Skydance didn't get such a standard and imo essential feature right out the gate. I'm getting slightly motion sickness all the time playing with the current "snap" turn, and it's really starting to put me off wanting to play more--I haven't even reached the first Behemoth yet. It absolutely needs to be addressed with an OPTIONAL instant snap turn added. Get on it ASAP Skydance.
@@andrebillups4079 I have to, as smooth turning is the main thing that makes me pretty much instantly motion sick in VR. And the problem with the "snap" turning in Behemoth is that it's just faster smooth turning in segments. For me personally, I need it to instantly snap into the next angle so I don't perceive the turning at all basically. For the record, this is actually kinda technically what happens when I turn my head quickly in real time too, as I blink between one position and the next almost every single time. It's an automatic reflex. I also learned to add a blink when turning a character's head during my animation degree as well, meaning this is a known thing. So snap turning to me actually feels more realistic than smooth turning, as I perceive it just like a blink as my head turns quickly from one position to the next. In fact, I don't even know if this is already what many VR developers do anyway, but maybe adding a blink frame between one angle and the next when using snap turn--still basically instant though other than the blink frame--would help too.
@@inceptional I'm playing vr for years and have the same problem. Not in every game, but if I get sick it's because of smooth turn. I even can race cars in vr but I can't smooth turn if the fps isn't top during the turn 😂
I wonder how Googles new OS will last the test of time. I always expect Google products to end up in the Google-Graveyard, but it looks good so I hope it gets traction so we get more competition in the space.
It's beyond stupid that these games are designed with the campaign in the first place which is what mini gamers are looking for even when it comes to VR games when when they realize that the sandbox games are mostly for the most part what kids like to play with and not the gamers who are looking for immersive storyline experiences. Just look how long it took them to do a campaign on blade & sorcery it's ridiculous and this game is getting way too much hype and I think people give these games way too much credit who just do not deserve it because they should be building from the ground up what's a good campaign in mind. You have ember souls which is an indie game for $24 who is still managed to make a better campaign than a lot of these games even though the voice acting is a bit off in areas.
I mean, it's literally made by 2 people and it's taken them this long with their own funding to get this far. They wanted to do more on single player but it's not a big funded studio. I believe the intention is to look into it post launch. The biggest thing was perfecting the controls and options for the mechs, and there is AI and the option to lock AI to give people the chance to play solo. These things take work, and as someone whose added maps into the game (community and upcoming official) I can tell you it takes a lot of work/time. I think it's an incredible game, which is why I decided to map make for it and the devs really deserve credit for what they've done on their own thus far
Maybe I'm crazy, but the combat... specifically the parrying seemed to get a lot better after the update. I'm getting used to it and I'm having some really cool and fun battles now. I find it's easier to parry and stab the unarmored spots. The "Axe" is so much fun once you get used to the laggy movement of it.
"Windows streaming via the cloud" - yes, more microsoft spyware. I expect to be able to fully disable the microsoft bloat or that it is 100% stopped when not in use. I do not appreciate having microsoft on the headset. AT ALL.

I had trouble admitting it as big titles like Behemoth are few and far between (it's getting better now) but I ended up refunding it as it just isn't very good unfortunately. Ps, yes, if they had can get iron maiden in smash drums etc then I reckon I'd get super fit in a week lol
Well, that’s probably not going to happen, Metas Reality labs has spent billions of dollars and the Orion‘s were impressive. But I do hope it’s successful and creates more competition in the industry. Not a fan of Zuckerberg or Meta as a company but if not for them, VR would be a much smaller industry right now.
They aren't interested in vr . Immersive apps are not for VR apps. That's the only thing they say they want so far. If you have someone that makes good hardware that's affordable that's what we'll take off
My problem with Behemoth combat it's not the stamina feature. I don't "feel" the power, IS like having spaguetti arms. I don't really enjoy It. The Game IS great, the combat... Meh...

Why would anyone want to use snap turning over smooth turning? 😂

Iron Rebellion needs a campaign

From the Alien RI comment I’m going to guess it’s not a full on arcade shooter … good to hear you say in a good way. Very excited for your review!! 🎉
I hope they can bring a single player campaign!
i saw somewhere that it is an intention! i hope its true :)
They say they will on their website, but I hope it will not be an afterhought.

Iron Rebellion looks like Steel Batallion. Now I'm just curious if it lives up to that comparison.
