I’m so pleased to have found this game. It’s looks like by far the nearest you can get to playing a three-cushion type game on a table with pockets. And it’s great in its own right!
replying to your comment from a while ago... someone said start out randomly but there's apparently a specific placement. The two reds are started on the head spot and foot spot. The yellow is 1 diamond off the short rail, centered also like the spotted balls. Cue ball is wherever you want in the kitchen. If balls are pocketed, they spot, and if the spot is taken, you choose a different spot, going in this order: foot spot, head spot, center spot, 1-ball spot (below the rack)
