Peter Varvaris Welp not for me. My Ninebot ES4 Works perfectly and I use it all the time. The range is good because I don’t go too far and The underglow is pretty neat. It goes more than 30 Kmph went I take it off the charger and The acceleration is Fast.
@Peter Varvaris I don't care about your opinion. My opinion is that I love my scooter and wouldn't swap it out.
Now that you've had the scooter for a while. How is it holding up? Any problems/issues?
I just got a used one from this dude he put over 900 miles on it and it still works

Hi, can you “scoot” the scooter if the battery is flat or you need a bit of extra speed up hill? Can you use it when switched off?
Yeah, but the electronic brake won’t work.
@@bryanbuff I used to ride a www.flickr.com/photos/34977244@N06/9057663795 scootech with no brakes and hitch tows from friends on bikes, happy to use legs, sole of shoe to stop.
I had the Ninebot Max but died out on me.after having it for three years. I think the battery just needs to be replaced. Plus a lot of the tar from the tire was peeling

Mine didn't come with a UK power adapter. I take it I can just use an old Playstation 1 power cable?

My one constantly went wrong. First it was problems with the ESC and then the battery started losing charge really quickly. I would seriously advise plenty of research before buying one of these things. Plus they're illegal in the UK to use on public pathways and roads. Lots of people do have them but it's only a matter of time before they clamp down completely.

@@JakeBilling cheers Jake. But I would urge more research because these faults are quite common. And the legality of electric scooters is not in question: they're illegal everywhere outside of private land, so purchasing them for any type of commuting or public leisure is done so at risk.
Hopefully they'll be made legal but from what I was told recently after being stopped is that there are plans to clamp down on these vehicles. Good luck anyway.
did you charge the scooter before first ride or did you use the factorypower first?

No my friend, I've only tried this scooter. I used this while on holiday and instantly needed to buy one! The 365 looks awesome too, I like the mechanical brake and added range, but couldn't deny I preferred the minimal looks of the ES1/ES2/ES4. I also liked the solid rubber tyres on this scooter as I worried I'd be catching punctures all the time on the 365
@@JakeBilling the Segway does look good but you could put that green slime stuff like mountain bike wheels I'd image to prevent that and I've just seen you can remove the speed limiter on the Xiaomi apparently to go even faster
Punctures are huge problem on Xiaomi, especially if you drive in sandy areas, 2 of my friends has Xiaomi scooter and other has had 2 punctures and other 1 puncture. Heard about those so I leaned towards Segway.

I am still worries about the li-ion cells being from a shady manufacturer and going into thermal runaway just like the dodgy hover boards did. Also illegal on public roads 😩😩😩

I can't believe you are riding on loose dirt and gravel. I have the same scooter and it rides rough as hell if its not on a smooth, flat surface. I know it has two shocks, but they are worthless. Look for other options if you have knee problems like me.
