I had the feeling that this song would just fit with the Mega Drive, and here I am, vindicated! It sounds just as I expected. This could be a credits theme to a Sonic game after Sonic 2 but before 3, as it sounds way more advanced than 2 does normally (like if 2 had storytelling cutscenes like 3?), minus the usage of samples.

can you please use instruments other than the generic Sonic 1 instruments? if you wanna make it a TRUE SEGA Genesis remix, then don't just use Sonic instruments, otherwise this is just a Sonic 1/2 remix or something.
Everyone just seems to use the Sonic 2 sound driver. There are other games with far better sound drivers (Streets of Rage and Sonic 3 come to mind) that would have made this sound better. This just sounds like Sonic 2.
personally I think there's tons of amazing sound fonts on the genesis, I just use the sonic fonts because they're my favourite. you're more than welcome to not listen if it's not your thing I'm just gonna do what I want
