Addy has been walking around today with the scrunchie on her arm. Then she put it on my arm. Then back on her arm. Alyssa will try the clip next time she puts Addy's hair up. Thank you! Love the baskets! Congrats on the finish!

Your hummingbirds are so wonderful! Your friend is very lucky 🍀 I also think the tweedy baskets are ingenious and really pretty! You are very industrious. Pet Baggy for me 🐈‍⬛

I am loving the baskets so much. I can't do a lot at a time though because they are a bit harder on my hands sp I have to work onthem for 10 minutes and then do something else.

Hi Karla, I love your crochet baskets they are gorgeous, you e inspired me to pull out all my odd balls lol like you said what do you use one ball for, cause I buy a lot of yarn that I like with no plan lol like you I’m going to be a basket case. Loved this video xxx

I think the idea to hold several yarns together to create a tweed/heathered bulky yarn is genius. And such a fun way to use up what yarn you have (to make room for more??). I have a reimbow varigated one that I think would look so pretty held with a few solids that match and maybe a black or white yarn. The possibilities are endless. This designer (Pretty Peaceful) seems to do a lot of simple stitching letting interesting yarn carry the project, which I love. The baskets are just single crochet - no fancy sittiches at all, but it is the mixed yarn that makes it look so cool.

I remember doing ‘French knitting’ as a kid, but we called it corking. My Dad made me a gadget with nails also!! Thank you for invoking such a fond memory of my dear Father 💗 Have a fantastic week Karla.

I gave you just a thought last week about the sooner you take care of your apt stuff the less you will have to worry about. Well I ended up taking my own advice on something that I needed to take care of and I’m glad I did. So glad you got all your apt stuff taken care of. I love your June summer crochet square! I also love a lot of colors in my projects. I am glad you have your cat in your videos. What would we do without our cats! Anyway keep on crafting and sewing. I also get ideas from your projects. I do some crocheting but mostly cross stitching and plastic canvas. I also sew project bags among other things. Glad to see you are in a happier mood too. Happy stitching!

I tried making project bas and although they turned out really nice I can honestly say that one craft that is not for me is sewing - I just didn't enjoy it and it really made my back hurt. but now I can crochet project bags ;-)

Hi Karla and Baggy! Love how much you are enjoying your crochet projects and the huge amount of progress you made on all of those projects. Tracy's hummingbirds turned out so beautiful! I bet it will be perfect in the frame. I definitely would be experimenting finding a set of crochet hooks that feels just right for your hands. You do so much work and crafting with your hands that you need things to be as comfortable as possible. I think I finally might be getting my stitching bug back as I have done over 500 stitches in the last day and a part. That's a relief. We found a house we really like with a small but very nice backyard...now have to wait to see if our application is approved or not. I don't think Baby will be moving with us. She is losing more and more weight and bleeding from somewhere through her nose and mouth, not huge amounts but I need to clean her up at least once a day to remove the dried blood. She doesn't seem to be in pain but she is not eating anything the last few days so have been researching pet cremation costs, not a fun thing to do. Not sure when I will get another cat when she crosses the bridge. The longest I have ever been without a cat is 6 months, will probably depend on when one finds me as is my usual case. They finally got the cleaning crew in to wash down the walls, etc. from the fire and have started redoing the apartment where the fire was. Since my bedroom adjoins that apartment, it has been a lot of early rising even if I haven't slept much due to the noise. Hopefully they will finish sooner rather than later. Take care. Hugs to you and Baggy. Dawn

I did one temp blanket. A row for each day I was pregnant with my kiddo.
thing was huge. I couldn't image a full year. I did one temp cross stitch. It was interesting, but I didn't know what to do with it after it was done.
    Loved seeing Baggy❤

I think I was really wise to do my tempereature blanket in blocks for each month so the size and stitching have been manageable and not at all overwhelming.

Hi Karla! The scrunchies are so pretty. The one for the baby is so stinking cute! The June square is pretty. The triangle blanket is so pretty too. The crocheted bowl is gorgeous-I love the colors. I’ve said it before but I’m so in awe of how fast you caught on with crocheting and I feel you are really talented. Some of the projects you do are for advanced crocheters!!!! (in my opinion!). The Lemons piece is so beautiful and I love the lemon cutting board-it will be beautiful-you always make things like that work-it will be so cute (I’m running out of adjectives!!) This
video posted at 11:00pm!! Have a great week Karla!!!

I know - it was a very slow upload day - plus I left for lunch with Julie so that pauses it as well as it being slow. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. i am loveing the crocheted baskets. I wish i was an octopus so I cold work on 4 projects at once :-)

I love your crochet projects. I am wanting to do a temperature blanket. I would love to do a crochet along. Beautiful stitching! Your new crochet hooks are really pretty. It has been 100 regular temperature here today. It has been 99 three days in a row. Calling for 100 again Monday. Your basket you are doing now is beautiful. I love those colors! Have a terrific week.

Thanks Cathy. Hot weather is just not fun in my opinion. What kind of temperature blanket are you thinking of starting? I have been having a lot of fun with the one I am doing this year. I think it was really a good idea to do it in a block sort of way so that each month is its own small project and the whole project has not becoem to big and cumbersome to work on. Next year shoudl be the same as I am still going to do each month as a seperate block. I think the ones tht are done in rows are really pretty but I know I would get bogged down with that.

I have to look at my calendar and settle on a day. This last couple of weeks has just been very busy at work which means I am pretty wiped out at home.
