Hi Karla and Baggy! Lovely to see you both. Your hair looks exceptionally beautiful today. Makes me miss Baby so much. She passed Monday evening right after we got back from my mom's pain injection so I got to spend the last half hour of her life holding her. They picked her up this morning for cremation. I started Rainbow Crossing to memorialize her and will add Tinkerbell and Mugsie to it as well. Glad you again enjoyed your lunch with Julie. Your basket is gorgeous! I even stopped the video and had my mom come in and look at it, and she thought it was stunning as well. I really love the way Mini Solar System is looking. Nice progress on Black Pearl. I always feel fondness for when you work on Pooh because of the backstory. Enchantress is so gorgeous and I am so glad you went through all the angst of dying the perfect fabric after all the hunting for the perfect fabric. We were approved for the last house we looked at and really liked. Walter is going to have a blast in the backyard once his daddy crawls around under the overgrown trees to ensure there is no broken glass, etc. My mom is going to buy herself an adjustable bed and she is going to give Walter her twin bed, so he will be going from a toddler bed to a twin bed in the new house. I will finally be getting my dream flat top grill soon. We will be moving shortly after the 1st of August, depending on the movers schedule. I packed away most of the cat stuff to be put in the garage since I know I won't be long without a cat, hopefully a young spayed female, around 2-3 years old so I can have her for hopefully a long, long time. I packed up my fancy flosses as I told the movers I want to pack all my stitching stuff myself. Most of my fabric is already in the storage bins although I probably need to add a third bin since I got some huge pieces of 18 ct white Aida off Shein for a very good price for future full coverage pieces. I hope whenever you schedule the next Zoom I will be able to join in though. I am not looking forward to getting all the utilities set up and driving the hour each way for the days the servicemen will be coming out. First trip will include a couple office chairs so mom and I have a place to set down while we are there waiting since we got a used table set off Facebook Marketplace in anticipation of the new place that will actually be able to hold 5 people and the food on it. Thanks so much! 😊 I started another basket using t-shirt yarn with one of the wooden bottoms. The yarn is kind of stretchy so the basket has a very different feel to it but it is turning out pretty cute also.

thanks - I have lots of skillllllls. Why am i not a millionaire? I swear I can stitch and stitch and stitch on that balloon and it just won't get smaller. When I get around to stitching Pooh Bear it will take me 20 years
I love your finished basket! When I first bought my house, I made some small accent rugs for my crafting area; it's been the only time I've crocheted with multiple strands of yarn, and it was easier than I thought. I'm intrigued by the idea of the baskets; I may have to try one! 🪡👠
It is fun to put random yarns together and so far every time I do it looks great. It can be a little tough on the hands to crochet with the thick combo but I am trying to only do a few stitches at a time.
Baggy is really not interested in my craft stuff. He doesn't care at all about the cross stitich (unless it is blocking him from sitting on my chest when he wants to) and he enjoys watching my yarn as I crochet and occasionally putting his paw on the strand that is moving, but mostly he leaves everything alone.
That finished basket is absolutely gorgeous. Good job. You're very talented.
