I played a scary game called daisy on Newgrounds and there is a part where you're in a Police department and if you talk to one of the NPCs he'll say "free gucci!"
I don't really like the voice acting at all. They all sound terrible. Whether they tried or not. And I feel like part of it might be the audio quality being inconsistent (and often terrible), or perhaps lack of experience on some of the voice actor's part, because some of them sound like they're trying, but they just aren't believable. I can practically *see* them in the booth, or recording these lines at home or something. Either way, I can't see them being these characters, and it's distracting.

Mirei Magik He reminds me of Jiminy Cricket and while it is charming, it's throwing me off because that is not what I would expect a rat's voice to sound like.
My elementary school class had a pet rat but I ended up taking care of it most of the time, the little guy and I bonded quite a bit. Whenever somebody took him out of his cage to play with him, he'd leap from table to table to get to me, it was adorable.

I hope you don't have to watch Sandman to view this cuz I have not.
Gotta say, Keith's VA isn't as bad as I thought at first. It works fine most of the time, given Keith's character. The VA has problems when he needs to show some emotion. In The Boogie Man, there were a lot more scenes like that. In this game he's a side character, so it works better. This game overall seems to have better voice acting. Will and Pop are pretty good, Sophie and David got a lot better and I hope to hear some more Shirley. I feel she did the best job in The Boogie Man alongside Lance and Helena. Richard was great too. It's a shame we don't get to hear Manly in this game. I'd love to see how he would do as a more fleshed out character, or maybe a narrator to some story.

I didnt even know that the sandman existed, so going from man going though an inspirational journey to fight his own demons while also laying a dead man with similar problems to rest to the adventures of silent angsty boy and his comical talking rat sidekick is a little jarring.

You know, there's something I've been wondering. All these people have been through their own supernatural experiences but they act like the super natural experiences never happened when they show up as side characters in another persons story. They've all experienced something super natural and weird but when they're with other people experiencing the same thing, not one person mentions it.

It's repeatedly brought up in The Boogie Man mentions that Sophie has tried telling people she knows the truth but nobody believes her David also mentions that he told the police, but obviously, the same thing applied Keith's ordeal was entirely psychological aside from the murders
Pop sounds a bit like Danny DeVito and it's reminding me of The Lorax and Hercules and every other movie which Danny DeVito played the sidekick in and it's uncanny i'm laughing so hard

As someone who knows nothing about the protag (or the Crooked Man-- I can't find it within Manly's playlist), this is an _incredibly_ frustrating opening. From my PoV, we're playing a jerk who destroyed someone else' property for no reason. (For people who can't relate to this frustration: Imagine you opened a store, and someone came into your store and smash your merchandise up, and stayed completely silent refusing to even give you a reason why they did it.) He could at least say something like "You wouldn't understand". While I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation for Will's behavior... I pretty much hate the protag right from the beginning (because he wronged someone right from the beginning. No explanation is given within the first 15 minutes, and whatever characterizations he's getting within the first 15 minutes did not make me feel even a drop of sympathy or understanding for him). I guess this is where I will hop off the Uri train. Too bad for me, since I actually liked Insanity and Mermaid Swamp.
All of these cameos from older games, I'd prefer if these were stand alone stories. Manly - Missed opportunities = Being as stereotypical as possible. Will has one of those voices that could easily sound female or male.

I've been looking forward to this since its announcement. For what's supposed to be the end of the Strange Men series (as far as I know), I have high expectations. Let's see what personal demons haunt Will and how he can overcome them. Unless I'm mistaken, this has the same voice actors for David and Keith from the Boogie Man, which is nice to keep things consistent.

I've been looking forward to this since its announcement. For what's supposed to be the end of the Strange Men series (as far as I know), I have high expectations. Let's see what personal demons haunt Will and how he can overcome them. Unless I'm mistaken, this has the same voice actors for David and Keith from the Boogie Man, which is nice to keep things consistent.
