@@darin5794 I love the gen-1 Bronco... I've had two... but the 78/79 are still my favorites. Solid axle, C6 tranny, 9" rear, NP205 gear driven T-case. Those were the days!
What beauty! My Daddy put thousands of pounds of fat cow striped bass in the back of this same model truck back in the late 70’s early 80’s on the outer Cape Cod beaches. Those were the days growing up with a father that was a great fisherman with lots of fishing secrets. He made $500 bucks a week at the NECCO candy company in Cambridge, MA, and then made another $1,000+ on the weekends at the beach during the spring/summer/fall moths. Back then the trucks would rust out after 5-years due to New England road salt, plus salty beach usage. As a kid it was a bad-ass truck to me, to him it was just a crescent wrench to get the job done. If I were a multi-millionaire I’d pull the trigger on this amazing truck. Nicely done!
This is a piece of history masterfully redone. It preserved a period of time from raw materials. It provokes childhood memories for some and inspires the younger generations. This is a piece of art constructed by a team of like minded artists who have dedicated their lives to learning about vehicles. It's my opinion that telling an artist their price is too high is insulting to that artist. My question is this... Who are we as admirers of these raw materials crafted into something beautiful to tell the artist that their work is not worth their asking price? Andy
I own this same truck with 31k original miles for what they are asking i will drop 15k into it and sell it today and mine is almost 100% original has a lift and bigger tires the rest is all original
No mudflaps or fender flares will cause some nice rock chips in that beautiful paint in no time with the tires sticking out. Stunningly beautiful truck nonetheless. I’d be proud to own it.

My big brother had a 77 F 350 in a dark metallic green 429 Carburetor .ballanced and blueprint. Factory manifolds . Headers didn't fit. 35" x 12.50s . Off road 105 mph!
The truck is beautiful. A 79 F350 came with 3:55 or 4:10 gears. The 4:10 was more prevalent in the F350. It should have a Dana70 rear end and a Dana 60 front end. Couldn't tell about the front but the rear end is F250. Good looking. But a joke. You said 1977 at the beginning of the video but it "appears" to be a 79?
That’s exactly what I was thinking, it’s a shame more people don’t know this, if they did, they didn’t mention it, I believe the square headlights came out in late 78,
78/79 F350 single tire pickups came with Dana 60 rear axles and Dana 60 front axles. I've had two of them. The 2 wheel drive F350 pickups had Dana 70 rear axles. I've had two of these also and parted one out and put the Dana 70 in the back of one of the 4x4 F350s.
Unless the front clip and headlights have been upgraded, that is not a 1977, it’s a either a late 1978 or a 1979, definitely not a 77, either way, that is one beautiful truck
Adding to the last comment My dads truck had the 460 big block with motor work and a predator carb Had close to 500 horse When I was a teenager I drag raced this truck regularly It would beat a fox body mustang no problem And destroy a irok z It was great racing it cause it was just like farm truck Had stock wheels and hubcaps and a aluminum topper and I beat all the new muscle cars except the corvette That was a close race Talking back in 86 87 and 88 Pretty sad when a pickup truck can smoke a muscle car Basically it was the same as farm truck but a ford model nothing but go
When the video started, I said it was going to be about 75k... I see people saying $229,000.... If that is true, the world is completely upside and down unreal. What a joke...
I wish that Ford would bring back this design so bad. This is the best truck design that Ford ever made.
I was honestly thinking $75,000.00 but almost $300,000.00?When two fools meet!
$299,999.00… and please wash it when you’re done wheelin’ it through the mud? You people are smokin some good shit!
I agree they are smoking some cr@ck.
I have my grandfather's 1978 F-250 double cab farm truck. 28,342.6 miles. Original truck!
that is so cool. what color?
@@primigen Blue and white
You’re so lucky
Mine was a 78 f150 xlt. Green and white. If it would have been a 4x4, I would have never sold it.
That's great that you have his truck! Never, ever sell it!❤
Best body Ford has ever had.
Hands down!!
Had a fully restored 79 Bronco.

229,000?? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 It shall sit there!
Ridiculous!!
Wow, those are Mecum Auction prices!!
Insane prices for every vehicle on their website!!
everything this place has is way overpriced. how they stay in business is beyond me...must be a lot of stupid people with money.
yeah, they sound nuts...maybe $100k, not $200k. They act like this is an OG Dodge Challenger.

I bet it was $10K new

@ well built restorations and restomods never sell for a profit past the original owner.
That’s why most are done by the original owner.

Beautiful old school machine! 👍🇺🇸
What a beautiful machine.😊
Man what a truck!
My dear goodness gracious alive !!! This is how trucks should be
I thought the last truck was the perfect truck, but you surpassed it with this one.
Absolutely gorgeous truck !
Who the hell would go off road with that awesome machine.. that's a go to the opera truck...Classy...
Wrong Question - Who will par $299,900.00 for this truck!
That's all I would use it for show and shine ✨️. Lots of car shows

200 gs is bananas dude. It is beautiful
One word...AWESOME!!

Wow! THATS A TRUCK
Now that's a real truck!
I love it! So beautiful

Only thing that would make that truck 100% perfect is if it were manual trans

great truck guys
7.3 liter and you took out the second tank? I had a 1970 F-250 with a 390 and two tanks….1 to start and 1 to get you to the gas station.
Missing the bud and sissy sticker on the back window 😅
NICE TRUCK..!!👍😎
Ford! When it was good
How much less is it worth when you drive it out of the showroom?

Better than new. Perfect.
You could have purchased 12 of these new for what they're asking for this one.
@L46C3 ha, so true!
Nice truck Greg👍
F 350 should have a dana 70 in it. Especially for $300k!
They came with a Dana 60 rear axle.
Give it a few years and the market will go down. People smoking crack these days
I'm not a ford kind of person but, I would have no shame in driving this beast
Incredible truck¡¡¡¡
Beautiful truck , but definitely not even close to $229,000😮😮😮thats insane..

I would take this truck over anything new today!
Trying to remember, but I think the black head light ring stopped in 78
77 had round headlights.
I had a 1979 F350 4x4 Ranger XLT Camper Special. Dumbest thing I’ve ever done was sell it.
My Dad had a 76! Lost his job in the mill in 1992 and sold it. I wish i could find it!
It was nice for the forst 20 s3c when i thought it was black
Making truck with an amazing price….can’t see it selling for that….maybe $100k
👍🏻No. 100
SALUDOS A TODO EL EQUIPO DEL CANAL !!
Why would they update the engine and not the interior?
Because the interior looks amazing?
My God I'm in awe of that beautiful unit
I would have to move many latitudes south - imagine the salt damage - good lord
Do you have any 70s Ford trucks for 20k?
Cool
We live in an age of ludicrous pricing
You people frigging INSANE!
A realistic value on the truck is BARELY $100,000, and that's pushing it!
$229,000 ? Is a fifth wheel camper and a Lucid Air included?
My custum Ranger had the same paint job , I thought it was black till I washed it 😅
1978 150 , my best friend
Can you add a gas tank and that’s it how much
Because of the fuel injected Godzilla motor it has an aftermarket tank setup
Needs a "gas, grass or ass, no-one rides for free" sticker on back window! 😅
Go go Godzilla
If it had a manual I would go for it
What is this price?
The price of this F350 is $199,900. If you have any further questions please feel free to call Tom anytime at 248-974-9513!
Beautiful truck.
Quarter million dollar price tag!? 😂
This channel must be for rich folks.
🏃♂️ 💨
You notice how they never put the price on none of these videos🤔 I think I know why
If you have change for a twenty, I’ll take it.
I'm pretty sure a 79 F-350 would have been an extended wheelbase with a Dana 70.
That one looks to be an F-250.
Beautiful truck though...
The two wheel drive was that way.
Nice!!
It's worth 40k. Not a dime more
❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah I think we are in the everything bubble now
Had me awe struck until the automatic transmission!
Prefer Manual Only and then you’d have a true Classic!
Not spending $229K though!
That’s it
For that kind of money, they should have put the second tank in it, or put the correct bed on it.
Blue collar truck with a white collar price tag. Crazy.
He's calling it a 77. The 77 had a split grill.
77 had round headlights also
Would 25 grand get me in it? I’m a serious buyer
Add about another 200k to that for their asking price.
How much is this ?
650,000 ??
I wouldn't keep it because I would drive it.
