Fascinating for contemporary viewing how unfamiliar all the 1970s contestants are with a typewriter keyboard. Some of them are very slow typists and no-one spots the letters on the second row.

Yep! If you weren't a professional writer/journalist/secretary/typist or computer programmer, the only way you ever got your hands on a keyboard back then was if you went out of your way to buy a typewriter - and they were expensive!

Erm, excuse me, but can you tell me what exactly happened to all of the episodes of Play School you uploaded? Were they taken down due to copyright?

      Yes, unfortunately.

@@dunebasher1971 I don't mean to pester you if I am, but have you ever thought about making a Google Drive to repost those deleted editions of "Play School"? Bit of an odd question, yes, but it would be really useful of you could.
You see I'm working on a little documentary project, a fanmade one, nothing professional, discussing how "Play School" helped shape children's programming of today, but the lack of clips and editions I can find is shockingly poor. That's why I'm asking about whether or not you can try to repost them, or start up a Google Drive folder which contains the ones you posted beforehand and some other editions which you might have.

Do you have the episode that had Lance Percival as a guest, I think it was broadcast around April 1980? My uncle was a contestant on that particular episode and I was with him as a nine year old as a bringalong guest. I met the great William Franklyn, and Jenny Lee Wright was lovely and gave me a peck on the cheek! BTW a great archive of television.

This is the first episode I’ve seen where I’d actually have known what to do in the final. ☺️

you've got quite the collection of VHS tapes! i figured i would ask, would you happen to have Zigger Zagger (1975) in your collection? it was a 3-part broadcast for schools and colleges. i can't seem to find it anywhere online! if you have it, would you kindly consider uploading it? and if not, would you know of anyone who may have a copy?
