I concur. In SL, sometimes you can find an abode you know has been designed by someone familiar with Feng Shui ... I've started to apply F.S. to my garden spaces, and my abode is a lot calmer.
When I was little my mom brought a woman to the house to help balance out the energies in different spaces and I had no idea what she was talking about. Your explanations of how energy leads to feelings of vulnerability make SO much sense to me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m neurodivergent or what but making adjustments to feel less exposed makes a huge difference in how I feel within a space. Thank you for sharing what you know ❤
Yeah, my last room and the one i live in now were created with the help of Cliffs content to be as calming as possible so my adhd is kept in check by my physical surroundings at least when I'm at home and it has improved may quality of life endlessly
@@lynxthewise7233 Yeah totes! I use it conscious of the fact that the social norm i deviate from is artificially constructed and unhealthy but I think it's still a useful term :)
I find it sadder that, in the USA at least, the advanced functioning side of the neurodivergent spectrum can take advantage of ssdi even at your fluency level while the nonverbal, erratic, and all around more care-demanding side of the spectrum can barely afford to pay for at-home care outside of an institution unless the family member who wants to take care of them has a separate full time job highly paying enough to hire a caretaker during business hours.
Same! We just moved in and I currently have the bed on the same wall as the door with the night stand as a small barrier, since I thought was preferable to in front of a window...but now I might try in front of the window with curtains.
Yes, the long wall where the bed headboard normally goes. Many builders smartly leave an open area for the bed, but sleeping with horizontal bridged cabinetry hanging just above your head might feel uneasy.
@JackVermicelli generally, a "built-in wardrobe" means cabinetry built onto the studs. Versus a closet, which is an integral part of the drywall-stud wall structure.
I mentioned 'built-in wardrobe' because that's how it's labeled in the floor plans I see on Australian real estate listings-'BIR' (Built-In Robe) or 'WIR' (Walk-In Robe). Sorry if that caused any confusion! What I really meant is that I hate when the door is directly diagonally opposite the wardrobe/closet.
I have struggles with spatial awareness, especially when it comes to arranging things in a room to maximize space and harmony. You explain things in a way that really makes it easy for me to understand (when normally videos on feng shui kind of go over my head and confuse me) and I appreciate it. I think it's because the other creators mostly use 2D images to describe their concepts but you do a mix of 2D and 3D that helps make it easier for me to wrap my head around. Honestly I have a bit of shame when it comes to my living space and you help make the whole concept of rearranging your room into something more fun and playful with good energy. The little Monopoly sized pieces and little screw to represent a lamp cracked me up. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing the explanation of all scenarios (including the monkeys attacking our heads from the window), and even if it gave you a headache at the end… but now we know!
I loved how you created so many options and how you stepped through the pros and cons of each with the good and bad. Not all rooms are text book, so by adding the variances helped a lot. I think this is where Ive generally become unstuck when reading other books on Feng Shui - they generalise what a room is like and dont provide other options. You go the next level and provide real examples. As always, many tx for sharing! ♥
You are so intuitive, I felt all the possibilities of that room. Getting in the flow to rearrange our home after what has been the heaviest year of my life so far. This flat and I have been at war for 5 years.
I definitely know the feeling of being at war with your place. It’s takes such a toll on your overall health when you’re not comfortable in your own space. I hope this new year brings you joy, clarity, and peace within your space and within yourself! ❤
A wood side table with a houseplant, a stack of books & a lamp (yes) does wonders for your comfort when the headboard shares a wall with the main entrance doorway. I do this bed-table arrangement in winter because the best wall is an outside wall with 2 windows & cold drafts are easily felt, bbbrrrrr...
This came at the perfect time. I have been looking for room layouts for my bedroom for so long, and you just posted this... my bedroom is the same as 2:47 and I have been struggling to arrange it in the best way. I think I will use my bookshelf as a wall divider between my door and my bed! That, or remove bookshelf and try 1:45 with a curtain. not real view out that window at the head of the bed. Thanks, Modern!
2:00 this is basically my bedroom, with a closet on the left wall. I've got no great views, but the South window is protected by trees so that's where my bed is. Glad I intuited the right placement!
Cliff's videos helped me fix my daughter's very very bad bedroom. One wall has two doors, entry and bathroom. Another wall has a big window. Still another wall has a big window seat and two closets with accordion doors on either side. The only option was to put the bed on the wall where the door opens in. Protected her by placing a 3-fold screen to block the energy, and on other side of screen a substantial side table and lamp to further slow the energy.
*THIS* is what I think is useful in life and I want to think about and respect in my future home to feel as comfortable as possible in every spot of the house ♥
I like changing it with "activity." Like the door has the most activity because people go in and out. The window with the neighbor's brick wall has less action going on than the Seaview because you don't see waves or people.
if you can bump into the unmoving furniture in the room with minimal effort, the flow of energy in the room is disruptive of your movements. Feng: Wind Shui: Water = it is literally the flow of natural energy aka you going about your day
So much hidden practicality in feng shui. Surprisingly birds do attack windows. I experienced this first hand when a small tree outside my window became inhabitated by two robins. The male robin CONSTANTLY attacked my window because it thought it's reflection was another male bird encroaching on its territory. It would jump at the window for hours and leave poo all over the window, the window ledge, and down the brick. It did this for 2 years in a row; disappeared to migrate in the winter only for it to return next spring. The only thing that got it to stop was by taping white trash bags to the glass. It still let light through and took away the reflection. Thank God my bed was opposite to the window (thank you Feng shui). Still annoying, but at least I could still day nap. 😑
My bedroom looks exactly like 1:25!!! The window goes to the back porch. I've been doubting if I could make it any nicer and this was so validating! I think I'll add a headboard to anchor the space :)
1:44 Thank you SO much for talking about this! I’ve been struggling to figure out my room’s feng shui since it has two windows and this gave me the answer I’ve been looking for!
1:22 "The monkeys can attack me as I sleep" For me it's more like my AC can attack me lmfao (it does. the head of my bed is right on my only window lmao This is basically my setup and the solution is how I was thinking of switching things up. Good to know I've learned enough to figure it out myself :) Thanks!
OMG. My room is exactly like this and I was desperate to find a video to solve this problem since I room felt very uncomfortable since I moved in. THANK YOUUUU
I don't know how I found you but you bring me joy watching your videos...my own personal interior decorator comedian , plus I seen that hot bod in your last video..😂 i was pretty taken a back 😮 like ...wow ..
Thank you so much!! We are renovating our home and it has two windows and a door and I was thinking I needed to look up a similar setup on your channel and TA-DA! You'd just psoted it!
This video helped a lot! I was trying to rearrange my bedroom (the bed and doors are positioned the same as about 3:04) but I’m realizing now that maybe all I need to do is put my nightstand between by bed and my closet door 🧐
Hah! Finally!!! My exact situation has been covered and I just proved to my husband that I was RIGHT about the position of the bed and he was wrong! 🎉😂❤
2:58 is exactly how my room was built, except the bathroom is a closet. I tackled this setup by putting my queen sized bed (for one) in the bottom right corner, with the bed facing the closet I have 3 glass desks that occupy the top right corner and top wall, which is my computer area My drawer was placed in the closet to save space. I have the same window placments, but I live in a middle-class house in a middle-class neighborhood. So, nothing really to look at. The solution in this video wouldn't work for me because of my computer desks. I have rearranged my room at least 5 times, and the setup I have now has worked the best. Though I must say I hate having my desk so close to my bedroom door. This video does make me wonder if I should change things around again, though.
Yes, but it's not just about intruders, it's about getting away from the people you live with. No matter how much you like and trust your roommates or spouse or family, sometimes you just want some peace and quiet and privacy.
3:27 is my bedroom situation, just with the window on the right being my closet. I had my bed right there actually, until I wanted more space for a computer desk in the bottom right corner, so no my bed is in the leftmost corner, with the back at the window. I really don't like it like this, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make to get a much larger and more comfortable desk to fit in my room. Would love to rearrange, but I just don't have much space to work with, so it works for now.
Oh finally! A video that helps me with my exact room layout and reiterate I’ve found the best layout after 3 shifts. Except - what if there’s a big mirrored cupboard in the room? What does that do to the energy?
Finally, I found a video on my bedroom layout. Basically, I have the two windows and the main door set up, but I also have a closet door in the middle of the wall that has the main door. It's frustrating sleeping in the room. I need to remove my closet, add built-ins and move my bed. It'll be a while before I get good sleep.
My bedroom has both windows, entry door in top left corner, and a wide sliding closet door on the left wall. Neither view out either window is nice (one points at my back patio with a fence on the far side, the other points at my back yard and shed) so I have curtains over both and put the bed in front of the right-side window.
I’m pretty sure this explains why I could never find a perfect place for my bed when I was a kid. I had a small corner room with lots of windows and light, but the door looked down the stairs…
My options are feet pointing toward bathroom door, window behind head or bedroom door on same wall as head. I chose feet toward bathroom door but I'm not happy with it. But im certain i hate the other options too 😭
After watching this video, I noticed that most of the budget hotel rooms I have stayed in are already optimized in terms of window, door, and bed placement. The bed is nearly always arranged so the window is on one side of you, and the door is on the other side of you. The only times I have ever been in a room where the foot of the bed was pointing directly at the door, it has been tiny little bed-and-breakfasts where the owner was doing their best to cram a lot of furniture into a small room. I still found these little bed-and-breakfasts charming for short stays, but for long-term stays and permanent living situations, I would have liked a different arrangement.
You missed one option, my master bedroom was just like the scenario up until you added the second door. I removed the window! It’s a lot warmer now too! I own the house so can do what I want!
If you have advice, I'd love to hear it. I am working on creating my new/future bedroom right now. We're changing rooms. It's not huge by any means, but it still has 3 doors, & then 2 windows in the same spots that you had them here (bottom & right walls). The bottom wall window is fairly high up & wide, but not very long/tall (it's like half the length of a typical full sized window), & shows a view of the neighbor's brick wall. The other is a large full size (wide & tall) window that faces the front street w a view of some huge beautiful pine trees. Both windows are in the middle of their respective walls. My main door is on the top wall right smack dab in the middle of the wall (I'm going by your diagram here). There is a door to what will be my dressing room in the middle of the left wall. The very bottom of the left wall has a small closet. The top of the left wall has yet ANOTHER door that goes right to the steps that go down to the 1st floor; the door to the backyard is at the bottom of the steps as well. Because of this, the door will stay closed & a piece of heavy furniture will be blocking it, for safety in case of an intruder basically. There will be a "secret" way out from the dressing room I mentioned in case of emergency, & we have a rolled up emergency ladder in case of fire & need to escape out the window. So yeah, a bed can't be against the left wall in any spot due to doors & size of things, & I have a window or door on every wall. Previous occupants had their bed against the bottom wall, so below the window w a view of brick wall & their feet facing the main door, which I know is bad. I don't think the bed should be under the window w the great view of trees, either? There's zero room for the bed to fit against the top wall in any which way. Only space is the bottom or right wall. The bed is a Full size & it's me & my husband sleeping in it. We can have it against a wall in such a way that one of us can't get out of bed. Like, the bed can't be pushed into a corner with one of the long sides of the bed up against a wall.
Now I understood something. Every single one of us slept with their feet pointed at the door at some point in time. One of the mysteries of the universe solved!
My room has 2 closets. My bed is in the corner with the door facing my head, but this way maximizes my floor space. Before when my bed was in the middle of the room, I’d have to walk in a U to get around to the closet and often bang my hip on my bed frame.
Yes. If you pay attention to how we actually use doors, we're not going straight through them very often. We open the door, but tend to veer away from the door when entering the room. This creates an energy path through the room. Obviously, it can be broken up using furniture and whatnot, but if the room is completely empty and you walk in the door, you're probably going to veer to the left a bit. It's a good thing to keep in mind when designing a room because in light of that, the area to the left of the door isn't very peaceful and calm, and not likely to be where you want your head when sleeping. Here's two easy ways to understand the energy in a room: The first is the natural sources of energy. Turn on the lights outside the room and leave the doors and curtains open. Then turn off the lights inside the room. Everywhere the light comes from, there is energy (this can also demonstrate what I was saying with doors, as the door itself blocks the right side from the light where the left side is left open to it.) Keep this in mind when placing furniture. The second is to just consider what paths you take through a room. If a room is empty and you're just trying to get to the closet/bathroom/whatever, with the exception of the veer to the left caused by the door, you're most likely just going to walk through the middle of the room. If there's a bed in the middle of the room (well, the middle except for the headboard. Please don't put your bed in the middle of the room I'll cry) you will have to walk around it. Walking around it can either be a U shape where you have to walk along all three exposed sides, which is long and irritating, or as simple as an L shape to go around the the only two sides of the bed between you and your destination. So unlike the natural sources of energy, the energy paths are determined by where the people walk which is determined by furniture. You can guide the energy paths where you want them using furniture. For example you can put a long and low bookshelf on the side of your bed towards the door which forces someone entering to walk along the bookshelf and farther away from the bed. This redirects the energy path away from the bed while keeping the bed right by the door, which is sometimes the only option. Just keep in mind that generally having to take a Whole Route around the furniture in a room is annoying. And if you're thinking "but it's just a bedroom! it's not that big, you can walk around it" you are correct, but just remember that people's homes are a place they spend a lot of time in, and one that will see them at their absolute worst. While we can withstand minor irritations with relative ease, your bedroom isn't a good place to have to deal with minor irritations. It's meant to be comfortable and safe, not inconvenient. Anyway, the flow of energy inside a room is as simple as where the light and people come from and go. You don't have to begin remodeling a room with moving furniture around aimlessly. It starts with observing how a room works, because every room already has a way that it works and you can't control the natural inclination of a space, only manipulate it.
I was just watching this video while laying in my bed and the "this is the death position, it means you will die" was funny at first until I realised I was literally laying with my feet towards the door.... fellas am I dead??
He forgot to explain it in this video, but I have read elsewhere that this bed position, also called the "coffin position," is considered unlucky because in some cultures, dead people are always carried out of the room feet-first. I personally think it's a little unsettling to sleep with the foot of the bed pointed toward the door, only because it's hard to see who's entering the room or just walking down the hall. You'd have to lift your head up to get a good look, and that isn't relaxing.
Hey Cliff, I couldn't find in your book how to have a door swing into a bedroom? Most will have the door swing so you can see the openness, but I feel like there's more security having the door swing so that it acts more like a shield. For example in your video, the top door swings bottom-up. What if it swung top-down? You would see the opposite wall when entering, but it shields whoever is in the room. I'm not sure what to think about this. Hope you will see this comment and respond with your insight! :)
I love the simple breakdown of this! But what if the room is long and narrow? You only really have the option of either sleeping in front of the window with your feet towards the door, or sideways but your feet might be up against the wall depending on the width of the room. 😅 Perhaps a curtain and/or shelves to block the window and the door?
Cliff I need help!!! what do I do if my room is like the 1:32 layout, and I can’t put my bed in that side bc it’s too cramped (there’s a full-wall closet at the right side of the door)?? And I also need space for a desk.. Fortunately, I have an individual bed, but I still can’t figure out how is the best way to arrange things.. 😅😅
Hi koko, I'm interested on what you taught me so far about the positioning etc, how about colours? it would be nice if I can also consider what colour mixture on every side of my rooms
My bedroom door is at the exact right angle to shoot a beam of light from the hallway straight into my eye if it's cracked open 💀 but as long as that doesn't happen, it's perfectly in line with the energy!! 😅
Does this apply to closet doors as well? My room setup is like 1:37 however I also have a single hinged closet door directly in front of my bed on the same wall as the entrance. I keep the door closed, but not sure if I should do something different. Also, My window faces a neighbor’s wall.
My room is similar to 1:32 but is more of a skinny rectangle shape like this with my door on the slanted wall: ______ / | | | |____| My window and door are in the same as the video, but my closet door is on the wall opposite of my window takes the whole wall besides a few inches on either side of the doors. I also have a hanging chair in the (based on the picture) the bottom left corner. However, my window is not centered. It is mostly (again besides on the picture) towards the bottom left corner so more space is on the bottom right side. I need space for my full/queen size bed, nightstand and my desk. Any suggestions? I really need some help cause I’m really struggling and I’m not a fan of being in my room right now. Any would be appreciated. Thank you!
ok i have a question for 3:32 . if the door is at the bottom right corner and there are windows on the right and bottom walls of the room (as on the video) then what does this bottom right corner door opens to ? There can't possibly be a room if both windows open onto the outside. unless you can directly enter into the bedroom from the outside, which is horrible !
When you added the second door (on same wall with first door), I had an idea: put bed under window on right side wall (opposite doors) but how about adding a MIRROR on the wall opposite that window behind the head of bed? Then you can still see out the window by looking in the mirror.
have u ever thought of reviewing the feng shui of games which like, builds houses and decorate the interior? i'd personally love to see u comment on house flipper houses or sims 4 houses haha
I need help I have a semi square room with a corner doorway in, it has 2 individual doors into the closet but they are basic separate doors on the wall to the left of the entry, and across from the closet wall is a window, we have a king sized bed and an L shaped desk. If you can help that would be great.
I have a nightmare of a room. The entry door is about 2ft off the perpendicular wall. That wall has a 6' sliding glass door in the middle, the opposite wall has a 6' transom window and the wall opposite the entry has a bathroom door right in the middle. The only place that is big enough for the bed is right under the transom. My highboy dresser is behind the entry door, with the drawer fronts facing the door. About 2ft on the other side of the entry door is the floor register that can't be covered by the bed. I have a chair/ottoman plus bookshelf in the corner between the slider and the bathroom door. The room is 12x14 with the long dimension going window to slider. The slider looks over my garden but the transom has mountain views.
Ugh. My bedroom has 5 doors! And when we bought it, the couple, who were divorcing, had it facing the bathroom, wirh full view of the toilet and bidet, and, the walk-in closet. No wonder they were getting a divorce! So I put our canopy bed beside the door used to enter the room. A night table with a funky light and the linen curtain hanging gathered from the canopy create a buffer from the energy, and we look out the French doors up to a little mountain. We swapped out the, yes, PINK glass doors to the walk in closet and bedroom to calm doors and I think it's the very best I can do. If I get $$$$ I would change it so we could close off the bathroom door with drywall and enter the bathroom via the walk-in closet. Thoughts, Clif?
I sleep with like 1:26, except my closet is open on the north & (right side) opposite on my door. Where would you recommend bed situation then? Bed in the middle (right wall?)
lol! Our bedroom is impossible according to this video… our bed is placed in the worst spot, and it’s too small to put in a divider (unless we went with a canopy?) to block the energy. Furthermore, can’t have the bed against the window - because window but also because baseboard heater - and can’t have the bed on the wall opposite the worst one because there is a double closet there. Hmmm 🤔 could POSSIBLY, move the bed onto the wall with the door… need to watch the video again and see if that would work… would also have to measure the wall because I THINK it’s too small for the bed (and we only have a queen 😂). Hehe… it would also confuse my husband at night! 🤣
I wish any of these were like my room, including my bed because my bed is built so beyond awkwardly. It's an old frame and has an extra 1-1.5ft that our mattress and box spring don't fit into, and technically we're in a full rather than a queen like the frame seems it would better fit wide, but that doesn't change the length issues. Im considering if i were to alter the footboard somehow to make some form of storage down there for unused bedding that could double as a bench for sitting to put on socks or pants or whatever, but that doesn't help eoth the space issue and i have no way to shorten the metal bars, if i could i wouldn't have my headboard against a window and feet towards the door, but it's simply too long to face any other way, especially since I need to upgrade my 4mo old baby to a crib, but even still, that'll leave no room to walk, and we've considered putting our bed in a corner, but after 2 kids I have some bladder issues sometimes so i need to be able to easily escape. I prefer having our own nightstands. I don't want my headboard against the 4yr old's room for obvious reasons, and don't want my partner climbing over me and waking me up or my 4yr old waking me up instead of him as im usually the one up with the baby at night and sleeping in while he gets more sleep at night and gets uo eith the 4yr old in the morning. I hate how the bedroom and closet doors hit each other, i hate that our one vent is under the middle of our bed against the wall with the window. Im not ready fir the girls to share a room yet as I don't want them waking each other, and im worried that the crib eill take away too much space from the 4yr old to be able to play. We have a 3rd bedroom that's really small and could become a nursery, but then i have to take the guest bed out, and my vanity from my late stepmom which I intend to use for projects like sewing or art, or ehen i do actually do my make up, and i don't want to be in the basement or garage to do my projects, especially as a stay at home mom and needing to be able to keep all of my senses ready ehen my kids need or get into something. 😮💨 I feel so overwhelmed by clutter, which is definitely my fault as I can't say jo to freebies, especially when this is our first home and we moved in eith almost nothing. I don't know what to do and i constantly have insomnia as a result of the stress. Don't even get my started on the tiny kitchen or the bills i can't help with, but need to in this economy. 😭 I constantly feel like im drowning.
the window and window with the neighbor’s brick wall is literally my soon to be scenario! sounds like i will be putting up curtains as soon as i move in.
My bedroom is the layout at 1:38. Window on one wall, door on the other. But the door to the bathroom is on the third wall, opposite the window, and the door to the closet is on the wall with the entrance door. So we try to keep thr bathroom door closed. 🤷♀️
I don't even have a real house, but your videos helped me to create the best Sims houses. My Sims never lived more comfortable

Been watching Cliff for a while. It is peak satisfaction to see Cliff describe my room and my bed is already in the perfect position.

Same! We just moved in and I currently have the bed on the same wall as the door with the night stand as a small barrier, since I thought was preferable to in front of a window...but now I might try in front of the window with curtains.

i hate when builders put the built-in-wardrobe where the bed is supposed to be
Yes, the long wall where the bed headboard normally goes. Many builders smartly leave an open area for the bed, but sleeping with horizontal bridged cabinetry hanging just above your head might feel uneasy.
Do you mean... a closet?
@JackVermicelli yeah the built in wardrobe tsk tsk. in all seriousness, that's why we plan fot our bed to be in the closet and to get a wardrobe

I definitely know the feeling of being at war with your place. It’s takes such a toll on your overall health when you’re not comfortable in your own space. I hope this new year brings you joy, clarity, and peace within your space and within yourself! ❤
This is the first video that covers the exact door-window layout of my bedroom, much appreciated!
Thats not safe at all! Thats where the birds and monkeys live!
You can tell just how much more comfortable he is at making content now
Thanks you! I been looking thought all video trying find a layout like our bedroom. Now since you posted this it solve my problem.
started playing furnish master and im using the knowledge from this channel for the game i love it too thank you
*THIS* is what I think is useful in life and I want to think about and respect in my future home to feel as comfortable as possible in every spot of the house ♥
Can't say i believe in the energy aspect but the philosophy aspect is absolutely fascinating
Just replace the word "energy" with "path of travel" or simply the "flow" of the house and Feng Shui completely 100% makes sense to me
The "energy" just means, "am I more likely to get ambushed without having the chance to react."
Feng: Wind
Shui: Water
= it is literally the flow of natural energy aka you going about your day
It’s not that mystical. “Energy” here is all about how people move about a space.
My bedroom is a feng shui nightmare! It has three doors and two windows 🙃 Thanks for the video, it's very helpful
Thank you for making all these options. It helped me out tremendously. I thought I was gonna have to write you with a blueprint.😂🎉❤
His chaotic and simple videography calms me
I'm feeling more and more confident that I made the right choice with my bed given the layout of my room.
But remember, women are always right and men are never wrong 😂
Oh my gosh the double windows is our situation at home! Thank you so much for this video! Now I can rest easy knowing my options.
Wow you almost exactly replicated my room situation. Thank you, I've been trying to figure this out
2:58 is exactly how my room was built, except the bathroom is a closet.
I tackled this setup by putting my queen sized bed (for one) in the bottom right corner, with the bed facing the closet
I have 3 glass desks that occupy the top right corner and top wall, which is my computer area
My drawer was placed in the closet to save space.
Thank you!
I didn’t know about the window thing, I’ll keep that in mind! (We’re rearranging furniture soonish, so it works out!)
Cliff if you could design your own tiny house/studio apartment what would it look like?
Yes would love to see that!
3 months and :(
Thank you for this. My room look like this with door and two windows. I've been looking for this. ❤
omg I was trying to figure out a new sleeping position bc I have the exact door with two windows and not enough space! Perfect for my scenario
I know nothing bout Feng shui and yet my bed is placed optimally according to this. :)
I'm currently looking for a new apartment and your videos work wonder for the sorting process 😊
Never knew feng shu was about home invasion strategies.
Intruders tend to be a source of negative energy, big no no
Yes, but it's not just about intruders, it's about getting away from the people you live with. No matter how much you like and trust your roommates or spouse or family, sometimes you just want some peace and quiet and privacy.
i love the furniture pieces 😊
The screw lamp is my fave
this is insane I can't believe I am here right now
I get it. I started watching his shorts and got hooked.
i think we need feng shui tips for office/ work desks. what small things we can do given a fixed location and position…
Thank you for this it helps go over most combinations of rooms and it was helpful thank you.
Man i love your videos, learning to design the house for my sims. I hope you make more long video
Thank you, Cliff! ❤😘I love the education. 💡
Love this channel “and now you know!” 😂
Now I understood something.
0:33 what if the door hinge is on the right does that change anything?
Yes, it is dangerous in emergencies
Here's two easy ways to understand the energy in a room:
The first is the natural sources of energy.
I love your videos. I wish there were a "DM-App" that could generate the perfect Feng Shui room for people who can't reach you 😭
I love the simple breakdown of this!
What if the layout is like 0:15 and the window is in the middle of the right wall?
We need a video on how you make your little models, they’re so cool!
They look 3D printed to me. It's hard to tell because the white gets a bit washed out on camera, but the pillows look like they have layer lines
I do not sleep with my feet towards the door, can confirm I am not dead.
Hi koko, I'm interested on what you taught me so far about the positioning etc, how about colours? it would be nice if I can also consider what colour mixture on every side of my rooms
Now this is all I think about when building sims houses 😭😭😭 but it's really cool to know!!
Thank you ✨💫
My bedroom door is at the exact right angle to shoot a beam of light from the hallway straight into my eye if it's cracked open 💀 but as long as that doesn't happen, it's perfectly in line with the energy!! 😅
Does this apply to closet doors as well? My room setup is like 1:37 however I also have a single hinged closet door directly in front of my bed on the same wall as the entrance. I keep the door closed, but not sure if I should do something different. Also, My window faces a neighbor’s wall.
Cliff, which whats better? Position headboard by the door and enjoy good view from my bed, or headboard away from the door but brickwall view!
My room is similar to 1:32 but is more of a skinny rectangle shape like this with my door on the slanted wall:

My window and door are in the same as the video, but my closet door is on the wall opposite of my window takes the whole wall besides a few inches on either side of the doors.
Yesss we love longer videos
Now I understand what's the point of naming it Feng Shui. Like the wind and water, the energy must flow without too much disruption around the house
When you added the second door (on same wall with first door), I had an idea: put bed under window on right side wall (opposite doors) but how about adding a MIRROR on the wall opposite that window behind the head of bed? Then you can still see out the window by looking in the mirror.
He actually did it in one of the latest videos
Lovely to watch this from my bed in the worst position possible 😅
Me too but my money box is in the correct spot, ha ha 😊
Sounds like you need a small partition wall!
@@RuthlessDutchman there's literally only enough space for my nightstand
Could you make a detailed video of ideas to decorates bedrooms?
For instance, a forest? A lake? Animal's pictures. Also, are colors important?
have u ever thought of reviewing the feng shui of games which like, builds houses and decorate the interior? i'd personally love to see u comment on house flipper houses or sims 4 houses haha
I like this video it's very helpful. Can you please do a similar one for a study room. 🙏
This is like my room :)except the top right corner is cut 😭and i don’t have many options in how I place everything
2:24 what if the door is closer to the center of the wall and the upper wall has a niche? (A.k. My bedroom)
I sleep with like 1:26, except my closet is open on the north & (right side) opposite on my door. Where would you recommend bed situation then? Bed in the middle (right wall?)
2 weeks and no reply, the birds and monkey claimed another victim 🕊️
Oh good, I am already doing 0:44. I used to have it rotated towards the door but still low, but I eventually changed it.
What do you think of tiny homes?? I’d love to see you rate/review a few, what does a bad and good one look like? Do you like them?
My bedroom is the layout at 1:38. Window on one wall, door on the other. But the door to the bathroom is on the third wall, opposite the window, and the door to the closet is on the wall with the entrance door. So we try to keep thr bathroom door closed. 🤷♀️
