One of THE mods for me when it comes to Oblivion. So longstanding it's an institution. Like OOO or Midas Magic or Lost Spires. Something about Oblivion mods and overhauls just has such a very creative feeling to it compared to any other TES game. Skyrim had a bit more functionality out of the box and Morrowind was like a whole new frontier compared to Daggerfall. But man I'll never stop loving Oblivion's modding scene.
the fact that you chose not to become count lol yes, the city is a knockoff skingrad retexture, but becoming count was all my 13 year old self ever wanted. the mod was a huge clusterfuck
Tried this mod years ago, ended up with an empty city with no interiors and only a handful of NPCs walking around. None of the quests worked. I probably installed the mod wrong. That's the thing about large Oblivion mods, it's so easy to mess up the installation if you're not careful (or experienced), and you might not realise until a fair few hours into the game and by that point you're just like "okay fine I'll just pretend Kvatch is still destroyed"
Haha those kvatch rebuild mods where you become the new Count and rule over it… There are so many out there and it has been…omg like 13 years ago i played those?? Was a real blast! Oblivion still stays near my heart and i will definitely play the rework!! Nonetheless i still enjoy the soundtracks all the time! ❤

Kvatch in German means nonsense, baloney. Playing the game in that language is jolting. You are the hero of nonsense. I am not sure if that was done intentionally by the devs.
I'm so sleep deprived i forgot this was a mod and spent 5 minutes wondering why everyone sounded different. I honestly wondered whether you used voice filters on them to avoid copyright.
So I've played this mod - it made me weep on multiple occasions. Its awesome in its ambitions, and it's a cool concept, but some parts were just ... Oof.
If your infamy gets above a certain point after being the divine crusader you lose the ability to wear the armor and everybody hates you all of a sudden.

I didn't realize this mod was so insane. It's like someone tried to jam every idea they had for a quest mod into one package.

In the path leading up to Kvatch half of the survivors were killed by a mountain lion so after I rebuilt it most of the buildings were left empty.
