  • Our Florida flat roof completely failed on us. A storm with heavy wind blew the entire cap sheet completely off, allowing water to drip directly onto our ceiling, and into our dining room.
This is the story of how I replaced our flat roof myself, with zero experience of ever doing so.
By breaking the project down into single actionable tasks, it allows you to chip away at the enormous task at hand little by little. Making progress by putting one foot in front of the other.
Suddenly, before you even know it, you will be nearing the finish line.
You will have accomplished such a great feat that you will look back and wonder how the hell you even did it in the first place.
You will walk away from the each and every project with a new sense of confidence and accomplishment that will carry over into all parts of your life.
This has been the ultimate reward for me.

I'm crazy for taking on this project, but in the end I'm actually glad I did. Learned a lot! Life is all about those ups and downs, otherwise a straight and flat road is pretty boring to travel. What is the largest project you've taken on? Let me know below
