The food taste funny, not just bcoz it's not good in the airplane, but bcoz of the altitude and the lack of humidity in your nose, due to high altitude. I saw this information when Jamie Oliver wanted to prepare the meal for astronauts on ISS.
Love your genuineness. Not mean or condescending. I can see you spend a lot time in filming and editing to bring us these well made travel videos. Great stuff!
I've been watching since they first started traveling full time. For me, an all day binge would just be re-runs, although that could be fun if I were sick in bed, or something.
calichef1962 I've watched the majority of the Endless Adventure vlogs @ least 2/3 times. I just find them that enjoyable compared to other travel vlogs 🤷🏾♀️
I dont normally watch these kind of videos but you are so positive and enjoyable to watch its addicting! Hope to meet you both if you decide to come back to New Zealand. 😁
Thanks for showing your phones when you arrive at new destinations, can you always incorporate this on travel days please, it’s one thing when we go away that excites me the most! Cheers.
4:50 I AGREE! they're SO rude and they're constantly shouting at people! I have heard from many people and they had similar experience, and I'm studying in Australia and I've flown in and out many times and every single time I could see them shouting
Alex Coreable Yes, it's literally like we're still living in convict states, ruled by harsh police authorities who assume we're all criminals. Especially in Melbourne, where I live. Perth is so much more laid-back, WA is almost like another more relaxed country! I always try and visit there whenever I can. 😊
With all due respect for collaborations, as we do them as well, I must admit that few work unless there's chemistry. It's great to see you guys back on your own. Just saying, because with your channel all we need is you two. And again with respect to Lovely Ashley and Josh, both of you are better on your own :) Safe travels, James and Kim
Rule of thumb when traveling always carry at least double what you need for taxi ,train, bus ,air there is always the possibility of a random glitch in the system and you can come up seriously short!
Glad you made it safe and sound! Too bad about the extra charges on the train! Can't wait to see all the sushi you'll eat! I heard it's beautiful there! Can't wait to see your drone footage! Have fun! Dani
You could also just have booked a flex/refundable ticket with any airline. Check the terms to be sure, but generally can be canceled for free! Also, airplanes don't have microwaves but (convection) ovens.
xandrios I’m kind of getting sick of their food snobbery dropped into every video. We get it, you eat healthily, but I think we’ve heard virtue signaling about McDonalds, soda and microwaves now.
My heart just breaks for you being so tired and worn down! But, when you wake (woke?) up, you're in my dream destination! Sushi and kawaii for life! Get lots of rest, and enjoy your time in Tokyo.
The Narita Express train which you accidentally got on has only reserved seats which was why the conductor knew right away that you were on the wrong train and asked to see your ticket. When they do their walkthroughts they know which seats have been booked and which haven't. I'm a bit surprised that you didn't know about the Narita Express before getting to Japan as its one of the easiest ways to get from the airport to the center of Tokyo and vice versa.
yes they got on the Narita Express.. black color with red arrow train.. the ticket they got was probably the keisei limited which is about $15 usd, the train i get myself.. its cheap and get to tokyo in hour time..
You guys are remarkably even keeled given how long your day was. In your shoes, I'd have been babbling in a pool of tears on the floor after all you've been through today.
I am pleased to hear that you guys that you are coming to Hong Kong. We are very nice to foreigners. Many places for you guys to visit. Japan is also one of my favourite places to visit. Looking forward to the following episodes!!
Well, because of the hong kong ticket, now there's like this amazing-race kinda vibe now. And it adds so much realness. Thanks for making it real for all of us sitting on couches!
I think you may get into the same "trouble" when you attempt to fly from Japan to Hong Kong. Last December, my mom - a Canadian passport holder but also a legal resident of Hong Kong - attempted to board a flight from the Hiroshima airport to Hong Kong. She was asked about her legal status in Hong Kong. So, she pulled out her Hong Kong ID card to show to the airline staff. The problem is that she booked the plane ticket according to how her name was shown on the Canadian passport. Her name was spelled differently on her HK ID card. The airline staff eventually let her go after they were satisfied that the Hong Kong ID card and the Canadian passport were issued to the same person. I was told that many airlines these days don't want to assume the responsibility for flying passengers who may not be able to enter the destination country back to from country. Just prepare your ticket the night before you leave! Also, I am a planner. I can't imagine you guys entering a country without knowing exactly when you could be leaving and how. :P It would have driven me bananas.
Ah I hope you have a fab time in Japan! 😃 I’m going in May & I cannot wait...I’ve been re watching your last Japan vlogs for tips etc. I cannot wait to eat all the ramen & sushi 😋🍣🇯🇵.
There is a really good reason why the Australian Customs is like that... Because Australia is an Island and we have very rare wild life and plants, we do not have the same diseases as other countries. So they have to be very strict and behave that way to make sure our country doesn't suffer from people bringing in anything harmful that could be damaging to our environment. Often people from non english speaking countries want to bring in medicines, foods and meats that are banned in Australia, so many of them know this but they think they can get away with it. Watch Australian boarder security and you will see how often this happens.
I got the impression that these guys were in transit, hence they only experienced security.I may be wrong, however regardless Quarantine look after the food and Border Force other. In saying that if you are found to do the wrong thing and there is a language barrier, you will not come across this until bags are searched. Whether we are discussing security, Quarantine or Border Force, for the most part there is no need to be rude. However, some of the tour groups can be a nightmare and unless you become assertive many will break security protocols, hence hard to tell scenario here.
They book you a fully refundable ticket, then cancel it the next day I believe. You just pay $12 for the service. Otherwise, you can book your own fully refundable ticket and cancel it.
Thanks for keeping travel real including airline food, security agents, and exhausting travel days. Really looking forward to your adventures in Japan! It’s noodle time! Oh, and clever cover story for Eric peeing his pants.

The salmon meal looks awesome, better than the powdered eggs..even though I dont like salmon..a texture thing for me..we catch lots at salmon season an give it away...fresh water fresh salmon is very good I hear
If you're going to Hong Kong, can I make a recommendation to go to Lamma island by boat from Hong Kong island ferry port (Central) and then rent bikes and ride around the island. The scenery is great and the island has lots of great native Hong Kongese, some hippy/revolutionary types and restaurants that serve traditional Cantonese food and are v friendly. There's also a sick beach there called Lo So Shing Beach that's the best in Hong Kong IMO.
With that 40 min to get to the next flight, I feel like Kara and Nate wouldn't went to a lounge to grab food lol. I get scared they're going to miss their flight.
What is your over tired mode..who gets giggly, who gets grumpy if any..I get super giggly an everything becomes funny where my husband gets very crabby..lol..tell me which one are you?
I just a 14 hour flight from BNE to DXB and for at least 8 hours experienced some of the worst turbulence. I was wondering about all you travel bloggers. Have you ever had any hairy flights.
i’m australian, australian people are really nice so back off, because of your personal experience you don’t get to put a reputation out as they are not “out to get you”
Are you guys no longer coming to Aus? I find qantas meals vary A LOT depending where you’re flying to. Long haul flights tend to be much better. Transferred via Auckland on they way back from Santiago and the flight to Sydney was on the shittiest plane and the food was subpar. Looking forward to more japan vlogs! I’m so tempted to book a solo trip for later on this year.
Qantas is so crap now. I avoid them entirely. Last few international flights were terrible, broken stuff, terrible service etc I flew Cathay pacific to Hong Kong recently to avoid Qantas, best decision. Nice plane, good food and good service.
Endless Adventure sighting in Hong Kong MTR!! What are the odds you would get into my train car, too shy to say hi. Looking forward to seeing the HK videos:)
Hey guys glad you're down and bedded for the night. Just one point for when you get up ,you say that the TSA equivalent in ozz is the rudest you've found . I take it that you have not been through Atlanta in a while they are so bad that we now book to come in Miami FL. when we travel to the UK. It means that when we get there we have an extra two hours drive to get to my brothers home but as he used to fly a lot he has no problem going out of the way. Wish I could be there to would love to have real sushi for a change. Be safe and enjoy.
While I'm sure Josh and Ashley are very nice, I have to agree that I prefer to See Eric and Allison by themselves as well :) Sure, a meetup for a day or so is fun, but a whole month seems a bit too much.
@ Donna, I 100% agree. Eric and Alison have a different vibe. Josh comes across as a know it all and Ashley screeches all the time, it's impossible to watch. 2 very different channels.
Trans-Tasman flights are basically considered an extension of domestic flights, so food on those flights won't be as good as the true international flights (like to Japan)... :) When and for how long in Hong Kong...? :/ (I'm passing through on my way back to Australia after a month in Balkans)

Sorry to hear you had a bad time with Aussie security. Hope you have a great time in Japan and eat lots of delicious sushi!

It means that when we get there we have an extra two hours drive to get to my brothers home but as he used to fly a lot he has no problem going out of the way. Wish I could be there to would love to have real sushi for a change. Be safe and enjoy.
As an Aussie, I’ve found the US security to be so rude...also no personality whatsoever....except the odd one.
Anita Riley . He or she won't last long. The good one's never do.
No Kyoto?! Totally recommend.
Love the new intro
You should try to hang out with John from Only In Japan for a bit while in Japan.
So glad to see you separated from Josh and Ashley. I can go back to watching your videos. I like it when it's the two of you talking to the camera.
While I'm sure Josh and Ashley are very nice, I have to agree that I prefer to See Eric and Allison by themselves as well :)
Sure, a meetup for a day or so is fun, but a whole month seems a bit too much.
@ Donna, I 100% agree. Eric and Alison have a different vibe. Josh comes across as a know it all and Ashley screeches all the time, it's impossible to watch. 2 very different channels.
Can you link the airbnb you stayed in?
Qantas does pretty good food in my experience.
New Zealand border control is even worse than Aus, at least the aussie guy laughed at my marmite pot!
Love all your vidio s you are both great. Corinne.
Did they link that site that does the onward travel? I don’t see it In the description box
BestOnwardticket.com
travel days are the most relatable of all! this one was rough but ya'll are pros! xo
Was the Express train faster?😳🌷🚍
So you didn’t go back to Australia. You only did a layover in Melbourne but didn’t go back
Sucks your tired but great travel video thanks
Trans-Tasman flights are basically considered an extension of domestic flights, so food on those flights won't be as good as the true international flights (like to Japan)... :)
When and for how long in Hong Kong...? :/
(I'm passing through on my way back to Australia after a month in Balkans)
