Can a channel get monetised even if a person uploads remixes and mashups on their channel?
@@spltiwari Mmmh that might be tough in terms of AdSense revenue as any "copyright" content can't be monetized. But then if you grow your audience with remixes and mashups and then sell the project files or masterclasses etc... then yes! It just depends how you decide to monetize!

I honestly hate that you have to compete so hard for people’s attention and that you basically have to be everything at once just to live off your music. 20% is making music, 80% is everything else and it’s honestly very draining because it limits your creativity imo. Great breakdown/guide! I’m going to implement some things! Thank you for sharing!

Ah yeah copyrights are quite annoying! Do you produce your own music? If so, that’s how you could do it ;) Or if you like vlogging/tutorials, those could be other types of videos where you get the Adsense and why not sponsorships!

Thank you for this video. I really appreciate the time and effort you put in! Of course, i subbed and liked this content. I haven't uploaded any content on my channel in years, but a decade ago, i built a snall following of ocer 5k subscribers, and amazingly, they are still here. I haven't stopped making music, and i cringe when watching my videos back, but it's been now 3 and a half years of me thinking about going all in, and it just scares the crap outta me. I fearful that my videos wont get any views because their are amazing producers who i am subbed to who make videos weekly and they have over 300 videos, but unfortunately they are not getting any views at all... and i would say their thumbnail and storytelling and actual musical content are amazing. Otherwise, i wouldn't watch it. I just dont want to suffer the same fate...im actuallt suffering from depression because of this. Its stressing me

A big misconception is that you need a huge numbers of subs or followers to make a living but, it's not true. I don't have a huge number and I still make a living from it :) Now if you have depression, I strongly suggest to not try RUclips and social media, it's a VERY hard game mentally so I would try to first get out of depression, which I'm sure music can help you with 😉 You got this, we're all routing for you!!! ✨

Say I am planning a music channel covering varoius songs, and would like to promote online music courses and equipment via affiliate marketing.
