    Just got one , very happy except for the micro adjust , as a previous comment suggests a proper tool is necessary to adjust it . I simply couldn’t release the spring bar ( dodgy eyesight might have been a hinderance ) . I the end I prised the clasp apart to move the bar then carefully squeezed back together . No damage done but took about and hour of struggle before the nuclear option . Definitely a big minus especially for the less mechanically inclined or less determined souls . Simple holes in the clasp would make life a lot easier.

If you buy a cheap quartz chronograph at a store in europe for like a 100 bucks you get a no sweeping trash movement and an alloy polished case a watch probably worth like 10 bucks in real value. This watch is a bargain even with small issuesa and a price of a 100 bucks.

    I've had the same issue before with pagani bracelets not having enough removable links to fit my wrist. I would advise that the "permanent" links actually can be removed. I've done it by grabbing either side of the links with pliers and then twisting them in opposite directions. Just twist them back and forth and pretty quickly you'll see the link starting to come free. Either the link will slide free or the pin holding them will snap, which will again, free the link. Voila, you just resized the bracelet.
    Just be aware that this obviously pretty much destroys those links, but I'd argue that's a small price to have the bracelet be usable.

    Mr Budget Watch. Your channel name seems odd, since you add no inherent value for Homage Watches. I’ve been collecting timepieces for 20+, years, and ‘budget’ normally needs a barometer, say a budget vs $12,000$, for a real Rolex, used. Or Knockoffs from $1300, - sub $100. I’m going to say confidently that people, on ‘budgets’ can barely spend a couple hundred on a wrist watch, and yet you never even discussed the movement. The comparison between most homage styles and the inability to use a movement like this, parking the second hand as most proper chronographs are (at least for my generation), are known for. The sapphire Crystal? The 316L SS case, ok YOU dont like the etching on the case back. And you MENTIONED THAT ZEROING THE SECONDS HAND IS A MATTER OF A SIMPLE ADJUSTMENT. Did you take into consideration + 3/4 of Chrono buyers in this ‘budget’ range have no idea what you are talking about? I’m not the Incredible Hulk, but my wrist is 8.5”, and SO ARE you, giving accurate info? According to sources, wrist sizes 5-6.5” are considered VERY SMALL, (by the IWC), as well as General medical statistics. Maybe it’s no big deal to you, but you aren’t supposed to give, YOUR PERSONAL OPINION based on your preferences, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO OFFER YOUR EDUCATED semi-PROFESSIONAL OPINION, based on a deep knowledge of things that truly matter. **Screw in links, really?? How many budget watches offer THAT? If this wasn’t the hottest HOMAGE watch style on the planet currently, I may have gone easier, but the people watching you, ARE LOOKING FOR GUIDANCE!! As (hard), and far as I can tell, (after a mere 11 sec, ‘specific’ search on Google), there are maybe 4 watches under $200, that are even close to ‘THE SPEC Attributes of this Watch”. I just ordered both style panda’s and an Invicta Version. Why?, because I must see the watch you feel isn’t worth $80, I have an extensive watch collection. So I must see this for myself. I will be offering a full review on both, and unlike what, ‘seems’ to be, {the style of the generations- don’t worry}. I will not detract from my in depth review, by referencing you or take cheap shots at you when recording. My reputation is such because I attempt to offer support for channels, not attack a creator who may need some thoughts of possible ways to increase his benefit to others.
    As a 30 yr Photog, Filmmaker, and full scale production company, I display professional etiquette, if and when I ever make content myself, personally. Normally I’m making someone else’s brand sky rocket. Now, You may feel I was curt, too curt, maybe even unfair, misunderstanding of your channel, down right incorrect, or many things. I’m telling you I saw your channel and this watch had peaked a tiny curiosity , at face value, and as your channel name ;to me clearly states; you weee a perfect fit of unbiased, clear, and detailed, information. And I’m quite familiar with what and what isn’t said in a title , and description,
    I spent a large amount of time as an Amazon Live Influencer producer, (ranked as high as #2366, in the Works at one point. And again, my Company is a branding, commercial ad Co. A, Branding Savage Company, for CO’s recognized around the Globe. My critique is for you, I OSPD T what you expect, adjust and grow accordingly. I, ‘sincerely I hope you do, and get reviews from even larger brands”, and are able to offer “the VERY SUBSCRIBERS YOU ARE offering, the BEST INFORMING”. Peace!
    ***** If I somehow missed, that you are simply a guy offering opinions , on free watches mailed to you for review, review at leisure, and with no actual intention of adding in real world applications, movement reputations, or fit and finish, and material mentions, I TRULY APOLOGIZE. But I’m positive the Retailers are expecting to not have and ending their watch isn’t worth 70£,
    (yes amazingly, you aren’t the only who receives 7-10 + packages each week - young man). Good Day, I hope you really adjust a bit and crush it, I do!!

    • @WesWatchRoom
      @WesWatchRoom  Год назад

      Thank you for taking the time to write this and to be honest I'm just a hobbyist, I no pro or even semi-pro. I just enjoy watches and giving my opinions on them. People watch my videos because I provide my view from using the watch, I understand that this might seem odd, but there are plenty of other channels that take the watches as they are, but that isn't me.
      As for the watch itself, I understand I said I didn't think it was worth the money as I have reviewed way better for less money. Yes the spec is solid, but if the implementation is poor, then the spec is pointless. Yes screw links are great but when they get stuck and don't come out, that is an issue.
      Plus when you spend as little as you do on making a watch like this, corners get cut and this shows. I'd rather get rid of the screw links and sapphire and have a watch built to last otherwise its going to fall apart after a few months.
      If you do decide to make a channel, best of luck with it.
      Have a great new years.

      A good meca chrono movement combines the accuracy of a quartz movement, with the sweeping seconds hand of a mechanical, that's why they are increasingly popular among lower priced chronograph watches - thats why people buy them.

    • @stavros_katsopr
      @stavros_katsopr 2 года назад +1

      @@watch-box Any mechanical chronograph, either meca-quartz, hand wind or fully mechanical is tough to read in my oppinion. Especially if you're aiming in accuracy, a cheap quartz chrono will be more accurate to the point of milliseconds, simple as that. Besides that, i tend to appreciate way more a pulsometer, or even a telemeter (both useful in real life) than any tachymeter (too many parameters to care about...).
      Finally, popular doesn't necessarily mean good in any way, right? Let alone my personal preferences (fan of more plain watches/dials), this particular one is a gimmick of a tachy, all scales in sub dials are almost useless, just aiming in a vintage Rolex model style and the hype you are referring too.
