It's a beautiful ship, and it certainly performs incredibly well. But lasers & guass cannons when you could have all particle beams with their huge range? With PBs, you can dust an enemy before they're in range to fire back; which can go a long way to evening the odds.
@@cho2969 yeah but where’s the fun in that haha 😬 I changed it up cause even on Extreme, dogfighting was getting a bit too easy. Even stopped using Hellfire Autocannons. Was iffy on using lasers but now I’m making lasers+ballistics a staple. Try switching it up, it’s super fun.
@@High_Key I'm mostly wondering how it would fare against some of the fur balls you sometimes encounter - which is what I meant by evening the odds. Long range fire can really help out those situations.
@@cho2969 definitely can’t disagree. Dealing with the random Starborn encounter certainly takes a lot longer now and I do die more often than before in those engagements vs having a full 3/3 or 2/3 PB set up. But yeah, been sticking with PBs since launch and just wanted to change it up, and it’s been really refreshing.

I wish someone would make a mod that turned Londinion, on Toliman ii, into a Helldivers 2 like mini game. The Terrormorphs could be the bugs, and you could even have robots to hunt..
The Mantis ship is the best. As no matter how much you change it. The spacers always fear you!
I always ditch it now. Every ship that runs is a reduction in XP, credits or fleet size.
@@dkindig If you want to farm xp. Go to the Serpent system. Each planet or moon you travel to. You'll get attacked. I even found the legendary ship there.
I mean glad you like it but, not for me I prefer the Klingon battle cruiser or something this is just to plain looking
