Guys whatever you say about how crazy Josh is, let's appreciate game developers that made such a stable game that can handle Josh's abuse. And not many games can still work after Josh's treatment, even if at 2fps :)

The fact the game even runs with that much stuff is amazing. most games stall out with significantly less going on.

The devs of this game love him. They join him on twitch sometimes, and one of the images on the game's steam store page is Josh's belt tornado. I believe they watch him very carefully to figure out what needs to be optimized haha. The tornado used to crash the game if he accidentally looked at it, and they massively optimized the resource intensity of rendering structures shortly after that video was released.
Seems like they have some healthy competition between them.
Josh is on a whole new level of evil. Most evil factory owners will pour toxic waste into the ocean. Josh trained a doggo, earned its trust, and then strapped the toxic waste on it and threw it off a cliff😐

I like to imagine the Devs have a big "let's game it out" alarm in their office that goes off whenever Josh uploads a satisfactory video. They then hold a meeting with everyone, watch the video together and make notes of what they need to patch in the wake of Josh's mess.

Josh has actually made me buy this game, just cos of how fun it looks with his antics. He doesn't show how much WORK you have to do, but, never mind, gives you something to do between the start and the end.

It's still easily my favorite of your Satisfactory series and I'm waiting to see what happens when you get to some of the other functions over in the oasis because there's always 10,000 new ways to destroy the frame rate.

I like how the developers decided to add something cute and literally called it lizard doggo and he uses them to hold hundreds of barrels of nuclear waste so he can launch them into the abyss

Fun fact: they can also sometimes just *find* nuclear waste at any given point and it instantly becomes your problem lmao

This series is a continuing tribute to the efforts of the developers to optimize the game. That it runs as well as it does with all that in it is pretty amazing
2frames a second isn't really a playable framerate.
@@jibais38 well Josh isn’t really a normal gamer. I’ve put about 100 hours into this game and still have a great frame rate. I am super ocd and everything is organized where Josh’s is a beautiful, barely playable, mess.
If we go back far enough he could barely move so ye its a major improvement
@@jibais38 in earlier videos just looking at the conveyor tornado would cause the FPS to drop to single digits. That now it takes that + everything else he’s built since to get that bad is what’s so remarkable
Josh's _Satisfactory_ journey: First the factory made sense, then it made less sense, then it was a conveyer-nado, then it was a conveyer weave, then a cocoon, then it was irradiated, then it was a tangle in the desert with a mass-accelerator cannon aimed at the radiation, and now it's an irradiated tangle that looks like that one pipe screensaver from the '90s.
imagine being the maintenance guy for that...

The white flecking on the screen while exposed to radiation is a nice effect as that happens in real life videos filmed near radiation due to gamma rays striking camera sensors

This is way I appreciate Josh's uploads. They aren't often, yet you can see how he spent days or even weeks playing the game just to push it and his PC to the absolute limits. And it's halirous.
he also has the power to influence a gaming community. theres a lot of games i play that i learned from here, satisfactory included. if you look at the satisfactory subreddit, its a running joke that lets game it out is the reason its popular at all. gained something like 10x players literally over night after his first upload.
@@angels22faz | am not surprised at all by that. Hell even on their Steam page they use a screenshot of the torando he built. I found the game before seeing Josh play it, though I am so happy he did play it and helped boost the community.

His Satisfactory videos are just a testament to how stable that engine is now. Imagine Creation Engine having a tenth of this.
