As a junker queen main I’ve peaked at plat 2, when she gets a mid season buff she’s gonna be so good, her hit box is too big for such a low health character, her only way to tank is to use her shout which has a super long cooldown, her sustainability isn’t there. I hope the buff her bleed dmg and healing. Her ult is amazing but it’s charge is too long to justify playing her.
shout CD being 19 seconds (13+6) is just way too long

i do best with junker queen when there is another tank, but solo tanking i struggle to stay alive and handle burst damage, like if i dont constantly hit my knife in rough situations surviving is rough because i try to save my shout to rush at a bad placed support for a quick kill, i just want her bleed to get buffed.

everybody is viable if your good enough. Doom season 1 is the worst in history, and yet zbra the god himself climbed to top 10 in the world one tricking him. Different charcters have different skill ceiling. Like a child could pick up a mouse and play hog, but it takes an immense amount of skill and knowlege learn and use techs on Wrecking ball to make him effective, like Chazm.

after getting an massive nerf while defending hog the problem isn’t that it counters an ult the problem is kirko counters
Also having an delayed reaction of 3 seconds then throwing your grandmas ashes for an game changing ult that has top 3 biggest ult charge every single match but where having an internet conversation so none of are opinions are gonna change

Maybe she should an over healing mechanic with her bleeds. Like if shes full health and she gets a knife off and starts the bleed, she can hit an over healed state st a certain cap, or just give her some more base hp

She's great and extremely fun to play but I somehow still think she need a little bit of HP buff or maybe 0.5-1 sec longer duration on her shout(if not making her more tanky.. her axe should do bit more dmg since it has short range). And hey, amazing vid!

Honestly think her axe is fine, it does a good chunk of damage and I use it in combination with my knife so it usually 1 shots or is close to 1 shotting when u hit the combo

Thanks sm for this video!! I always get made fun of for maining Junker Queen, them saying her kit sucks. But she is a whole lot of fun to play and if they practice enough, they will know how to efficiently use her kit and have fun too :)

i can say she might be one of the harder tanks to play and get good value, so when you compare it to other thanks you can play worse with other tanks and get what can seem to be the same value, like hog land your hook and one shot, rein just position well and be agressive when your team gets a kill or they start trying to get too close to you, like all these seem pretty obvious, but with junker queen it does doesnt feel like she does enough, and what she does do well other tanks simply just do better it feels, so in that regard i would say she needs a buff and make her great at that one thing the other dont do.
• scale down the outrageous hit box
• make her shout cd shorter and have longer duration
• generate ult a bit faster
• give the axe slightly more dmg
• more bleed sustainably

I used to think Junkerqueen was trash until I started getting better and better JQ players on my teams (I am support main in dia 3). It’s shocking how long she can duke it out against a hog, with a dmg boost she’s really good. I enjoy playing along side her.

I would like to see a buff to her shout, maybe -2 seconds on the CD and increase the shield gained for herself and allies (+50 for her/+25 for allies).
Then the only other thing I want to see it a rework to her Passive, as it is right now it's just not noticeable, think i've got 1k healing once most of the time its 600-700 tops for a 10 minute QP game.
For her passive I think it should be changed to a passive heal that stacks per Wound applied from different abilities, up to 3 (Axe/Knife(melee or throwing)/Ult) starting at 25hp/sec, 32hp/sec at 2 stacks and 40hp/sec with 3 stacks. This could last for 5 seconds refreshing with any application of Wound making maintaining 2 stacks fairly difficult for the average player but not impossible as it would require the player to hit a skill shot knife off CD, Axe ability hits off CD or melees to refresh the duration.
I feel like this would give her more survivability even with only 1 stack of Wound healing maybe making her too strong in the lower ranks but no one would mind as she's super fun to play, as well as making her more viable in the higher ranks as they will more often be able to maintain 2 stacks or even 3 stacks.

I’ve put 150 hours into jq and I’ve 1 tricked her to gm2, she’s honestly a sleeper pick if you put the time in. Her biggest issue is the communities perception of her, I’d say 1 in 5 games are thrown in the spawn room by a team mate who won’t even give it a try. She needs her amour bug fixing so orisa doesn’t stomp her and maybe a few more healing numbers and I feel she would be in a good spot.
In all honesty I don’t feel she needs a buff for her strength, she just needs a buff for the community to give her a chance rather than flaming before you leave spawn.

I pretty much only play JQ for tank, and i've peaked Masters 5. I feel like my sustainability is fine because I land lots of knives and swing the axe on multiple targets. Also meleeing whenever possible. The lifesteal adds up.

Junker queen would be great if they brought 6v6 back. She's not too bad as a second tank. We normally run 2 tanks, 2 healers, and one dmg since they no longer let us run 6v6.

It’s funny how they give her the mythic skin for the battle pass while nerfing her more when she’s already not that good 💀. I heard she was really good in the beta (which I never played) but on release she was horrible and I’ve literally never tried her.

I love playing Junker Queen and I hate that people immediately associate her with being a bad hero no matter what and assume the person playing her will be dragging the team down. I even got flamed for picking her in quick play. And we were WINNING.

Whenever I play junker Queen, my teammates give up on life, don't play the game, lose. Then flame me calling ME toxic for just not switching.

I play Junker queen as a GM. I definitely think her adrenaline rush should definitely be buffed so she isn't so squishy. Healing off of Gracie and Carnage so it works as an insensitive to push and go in. One thing I did notice in your video is that you're shouting way too early and going after predictable kills, work on your placement and movement, make them think you're going to kill one person and go for someone else next to you (the element of surprise is what makes her semi playable). Shout for the team to get out of Ult or to get them out of the enemies los or just to help them from not dying, shout when you hit 200 HP or less. And rotation is so important. USE COVER, IT'LL HELP YOU SURVIVE. Overall, loved the video, it's cute.

I think a good Buff and Fix would be Fix her Hitbox and Low a little the War Scream CD, but she is so damm fun to play, the shotgun melts, the knife is really fun and with a good throw can bring the supp to the front lane, use the axe and can't be parry, and the Ultimate with the anti-heal is useful if you land it correctly.

When I'm a tank, its junkerqueen. She was very easy to learn for me since I'm a widow main for damage. Her rampages are always a hit or miss. Her health is really annoying, I wish sometimes she had a little health buff bc going against a whole team if you're the only one alive is annoying since its only 425. shes still my fav character to play with tho
