Just received my snip the tip thermistor. Can't wait to get it installed. Waiting on fan units to complete the install. I'll give a review once done Thx for the tip....lol...
I have the same rv unit you have. I saw in one video you have at the propane tank you have an extended line. I’m thinking you ran a small line to the other side to use for outside grilling. Can you make a video on what you did and where it ends. I am thinking about added a line to do this.
That's a great idea and I'll add it to the list for sure! We have a new series taking our time but stay tuned 😀 For now, to answer your question, yes it is for a grill and now we can grill our a**es off without running out of propane. Definitely an upgrade you should do, just be careful and don't go boom! Haha. Most RV places carry the adapter piece to add the extra propane line. I added a quick disconnect near the grill so that if propane was turned on accidentally, it wouldn't be able to free flow.
Thanks for saying hi! We had our hands full, we were there while our vehicle was getting some major engine work, but back on the road now. What a cool place for kids!! Safe travels!
It seems to be more sensitive, and check back as I'm working through the best settings currently and don't have a precise answer. Our temps have had about a 5 degree swing but I think it's from drastic temp. changes within the RV and the compressor just trying to compensate. Still though, it seems to be helping 👍
Jesse, I do not see this thermistor on their web site. It is new product? Can it be used on an absorption refrigerator as well as the compressor model? Thanks.
Sorry for the delay, we just got internet again! I believe it can work on both since all it's doing is sending the signal to cycle on or off. The folks at JC refrigeration in Shipshewana, Indiana were super helpful if you have any RV fridge needs, especially with getting your fridge cooling down well. Perhaps they could help you decide if this would be a good device, and definitely keep them in mind if you decide to install a new cooling unit on your fridge 👍
Sorry we missed you Kevin! We don’t know the number but the crew over at JC refrigeration in Indiana can definitely send you one or tell you where to look.

What is a good place to start setting wise for the adjustable thermistor ?
I was just there and had a 12 volt system installed. Having a hard time controlling the temps. Will be talking to JR tomorrow. Great video. Thanks

Great info! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video!! Now that you have used it for a while, how does it do holding the fridge temperature compared to the old bulb thermistor??
