Butte child care resource agency concerned about future as state makes contract changes

Fifty years ago, Butte 4-C's began providing child care resource and referral assistance to the region. Since then, they’ve become a major asset for families and now also host other beneficial services.
“A lot of times when they come in they need to be connected to other resources, such as a lot of times they need to be in child support compliance for our program. So we do have child support apps in our office, and we will often help take care of that and fax (them),” said Carlyne Johnson, family service supervisor for Butte 4-C's.
