omg it's SO refreshing to hear someone else is not on tiktok!!! I never really got into it, as I spend far too much time on my phone already (without adding another app into the mix lmao) But I went on it for about 20 mins on my friends phone one time, & yeah sure there were some funny videos, but exactly as you were saying I found myself comparing myself to always these naturally STUNNING girls, feeling so insecure about myself - I just got sucked in after being on it for less than half an hour :/ it's mad

Agreed, I feel like I’m the only one who’s just not into it. I get that there can be a few funny videos here and there, but all in all it’s a waste of time.
I never got into TikTok either, I like watching TikTok compilations or reactions on youtube though.

*I've been using baby shampoo for 1 months my hair started turning wavy/curly(some are really coiled). My broke ass, I did an experiment. I washed my hair today,apples conditioner on dripping wet hair (as leave in conditioner),then applied packed Aloe vera gel then a coin size of baby oil. Put my hair in a t-shirt plop and air dried them,then scrunched. My hair was sooo wavy. And I could see several coils in my hair. I'm confused what I did today. But this worked.*
What brand of shampoo do you use?

I deleted tik tok a couple of weeks ago for the same reasons, there was a lot of hate on there and I feel a little better now, I still a long way to go though.

It's very unsettling that, when we reach our mid and late twenties, we have a tendency to compare ourselves with teenager girls. I'm aware that this is upsettlingly common among women. I only have my Facebook, twitter as well as Instagram given that, I'm writing this very subjectively, I think that these social medias englobe people of all ages. I don't feel bothered or sad whilst I'm scrolling through IG, as an example. I think I would feel uncomfortable on Tik Tok same as you because I feel so old to particular things that I've seen of Tik Tok in the social medias I use lol. I completely adore your chatty videos, you are so enchanting whilst chatting to the camera.

no back home friends gang!! I had to go back to my hometown during lockdown and summer time and i had the worst time of my life because of this. I have some friends but i don't care about reaching ut to them so much since i know i'll return to my uni friends. It was horrendous, worst summer of my life

i deleted tiktok in may/june bc it was a time suck, but redownloaded it in september bc i was in school and the time wasn’t as much of a problem. i don’t tend to compare myself to the girls on the app as much?? but i also have gained self confidence and lost some of the misconceptions that i had about myself before when i had it, and more so felt the negativity then than now.

As an advice when you put the silk scarf make sure that your hair is %50 wet it helps alot with frizz and make ur hair like it is straightened

Honestly I feel the same about TikTok! You just see these stunning girls that literally look perfect and It makes me feel soo bad about myself but I often catch myself not being able to stop watching these videos eventhough I know they‘re not good for me 🙃 I feel like it’s horrible for your mental health

Your complexion, reddish hair, and hair texture are all reminiscent of mine and it makes your hair and makeup tutorials so helpful. You're also making me desperately want my bangs back... I use spit for my eyeshadow too, if I'm going to do a liner with a dark color. Or I'm I'm doing a inner corner highlight. 😅

Ivw been debating deleting toktok... 1) i waste soooo much time on it. Its like my entire life is just sitting on it and idk what i was even doing before hand. 2) i also find myself compairing myself to the beautiful people on the app, and my self confidence goes way down. But i havnt deleted it because it is also REALLY fun and i like and enjoy the videos and sending them to my friends alot. Plus i watch alot of tips on tiktok and use it for really helpful stuff so i dont want to delete it because of that. It can just really waste ur time and make u feel like shit

I really love the funny videos and helpful life hacks I see on tik tok which makes it really hard for me to delete the app but I've also thought about deleting it for the same exact reasons!!
i commented before, but i dont know if you saw it, so here we go again (also, im sorry to bother if you already tried this, my hair has always been helpless and this helped it look more straight): when i get out of the shower, with wet hair, i put some oil hair on its lenght and brush it to make it straight (or squeeze it to make it curly), and let it air dry, nothing else works on my hair except this. It took me a while to figure out wich label and ammount to use. Hope it helps

I don’t know if you’ll see this and I know ur probably over worrying about ur hair but I have been following ur hair journey for awhile and I’ve been dealing with the same thing to. But the ONLY thing that has helped me with my hair is quitting shampoo, I still wash my hair don’t worry but i use cold water. It has made the biggest difference in my hair it’s insane and if you think about it for centuries people had only been using water for their hair and it has made such a difference, I still use conditioner and hair masks but just not shampoo. I rlly hope u try this out especially because were in lockdown ☺️

If you want to live in Canada 🇨🇦 I would suggest Vancouver! It’s by the mountains and it’s brilliant for actors so many films and tv shows from America are shot there, so there are a lot of opportunities! I plan on moving back there after uni it’s the most beautiful place in the world 💗

Hi Isabella! Nice to hear that you found a lovely place to stay. I'm Italian and moved to London about 6 years ago now. It has been the best decision I've ever made in my life. I love the city and completely transformed my life. I was from a little town in Italy, nothing going on, I was also very unsociable person in my teenage years. Now I'm so different that almost can't recognize myself. London gives you so much, you can meet so many people and wad blessed with lovely friendship developing through jobs and my hobbies Xx would love to explore Japan too. If you ever come to London, would love to meet you in person! Talking lip liners, I've tried nyx and Mac but don't really last on me. My holy grail is Kiko, automatic lip liner and the creamy comfort ones. They're incredible, they stay put all day and even survive meals. Very soft on the lips, so I use them as lipsticks too. You must try them. In the automatic range there are many similar shades to the one you're wearing here. They're also relatively cheap and kiko always has offers. Can't use anything else!
