How we take down online predators

Two men suspected of possessing indecent images of children were arrested during last night's episode of 'The Met'.
One claimed the downloads was an accident, whilst officers had to establish if the other posed a safeguarding risk to his young baby.
Investigating this heinous crime is the responsibility of our detectives on the Online Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation team. They not only arrest offenders but go through the evidence on the suspect's devices and treat each image and video as a crime scene.
DCs Dan and Richard are part of that specialised team and are dedicated in safeguarding those children involved and arresting predators online.
