Whitney Furr hi! I don’t use drugstore cream blushes, I’ve only tried powder. If there’s a really creamy lip dip that you like, maybe you can use it on your cheeks. I personally do that with my lip dips and it hasn’t harmed my skin yet.

But instead of blush (cause it feels that it focuses more on my redness and acne scarring), I used ELF primer infused bronzer in Perpetually tan for more of a neutral/warm look (I don't contour or the traditional bronzer way).
I haven't been impressed with many celebrity brands (Ke$ha, GaGa) but Rare beauty seems nice. The primer, foundation & blushes look beautiful. & there's a meaning behind the brand. I'm interested in what she does next.

Mostly bare skin with huge smoky eyes is my makeup style, too. On occasion I'll add a bold lip, but usually tinted balm.
I used the lip soufflé as blush too. It worked beautifully.

I use a brush for primer as well and so love it the real technique brush is the one I use and it it leaves looking flawless
