"Songwriting is easy, you just follow these two steps:
    1. Finish the song right away
    2. Take your time, the song is never finished"

1:Once you pop don't stop:once you start to write a song try & finish it straight away, while you're in the mood
2:Give yourself a deadline:To be fair most of the songs is written & not to be done ,Its like when you have everything but one line in the 2nd verse its nothing unless its alright if you have a 95% of a song you a zero % of a finished song. Enjoy the pressure of having to have of something &when you have to have something kind of get to your point
    3:Lock yourself outside:
    4:Dirty Taps make great raps:
Songwriting its just how you feel at the time ,its whatever whatever is on your mind & know that writers block doesn't exists ,you should just not push it if you are trying to write a song & you cant you shouldn't just just try & write it because that when the block happens & for this go & do something else for couple of weeks & then comeback & then i'll be able to write a song
    5:Take breaks
    6:Find matching socks
    7:Take your time

Personally, whenever I hear JM speak about songwriting... I'm like bro you're in outer space, what are talking about!!! Some how that concept just hit me hard! At the beginning of every song you're a baby. You know nothing! Hmmmmm curious!

This is just what I needed to hear. It’s good to know they have trouble to. I’ve got 4 songs on the go, two are shelved confidently the other two are played every time I pick the Gar up. Was it John or George that said in your vid you have to finish it cos you could be in a different frame of mind when you go back to it. My frame is all over the wall 😂😂 miracle when I finish a song 😂😂

That's the thing lee. it's different for everyone and different on a song to song basis. I think it also depends on where you start a song from, how exciting the idea is and how much time you have to get it done. it can take hours or months. it's creative problem solving at the end of the day. cheers buddy

It was George talking *about* John. John told george to try to finish it in one go, but it was George who was talking about it.

Cheers Avi. a good way to look at it. I find it's different for every song. I try to combine these different approaches. Like, I give myself a deadline to get a first draft done and then take my time with the rewrite! it all depends.

    Great compilation!
If there is one thing to do to make it better it’s simply to level match the audio.
It went from quiet to extremely loud, back and forth several times.
Visiting the volume of a device multiple times in the span of the video keeps the audience from being completely pulled in.
Keep up the great stuff, cheers!

This is tough, but I think the songs I've ever finished were the ones done in one sitting.
Why do I say it's hard? Because it can take up to 3 or 4 hours during a session to finish a song (when it's easier it can take 2 hours, 1 hour or even less).
In my opinion and experience, the easier the song is to write, the greater the song will (usually) be.
Maybe there's other ways to finish songs in multiple sessions, but that would take even more discipline and perhaps you'd have to add "trying to finish the song" to your calendar in order to push yourself to make it happen.
If anyone else has more helpful thoughts on this, please share your wisdom with us.

It's definitely rare but it happened to me more than once, I write a potential new song, then I realize it can fit on that old unfinished song I have sitting in some folder on the computer. I finished a song that I started 8 years ago like that.
