Such a rare bird. Use to see a half dozen of these now and then when I was a kid at Fluky's in Nile’s for car shows back in the day. Who would have known these would go for such a premium 35 yrs later? What a Beautiful car.
Boy thank you for sharing this rare beast...back in the early 80's these went for $10K... definitely on my radar to replace a '70 Charger 500 I sold awhile back.
What a rare bird. I would think it would be scary to drive that car 200mph with stock suspension and brakes. But what a beauty and talk about buying a piece of history. Thanks Jay!
Best part is you got the G. Glover documentation that's an original petty blue card that's fantastic! There is a reason why that's going to fetch a pretty good penny. Extremely rare You can find superbirds but that's a great find right there
For those old enough I saw Buddy Baker break the 200 mph record with one of these or the Daytona ? We had a rotor on our antenna and we were able too watch the race. No cable back in those days.
The only reason they built the Superbird was Richard Petty. Dodge built the Charger Daytona, Plymouth would not match it for teams that ran Plymouths. Richard didn't like losing, he jumped to Ford for 1969 and won 10 races. Plymouth produced the super bird the King went back to Plymouth.
Awsome american legacy from the huge secret batcave 😊😊😊love the colour and the look of this beauty, thanks Jay grams president of volo cars and russel for perfect photografy from Tom your friend now and always 😢😮😮😊😊😊😂❤
I bet if it had a Hemi it would be over $1,000,000. No? It's amazing how much $ a plastic nose, a few decals, a beep beep horn and a huge wing stabilizer in the back can add to a regular car.
You got to be real careful with a car like that Charlotte That's a 440 with a six-pack setup. You don't want to unleash all three of those carburetors not on an interstate and you're basically on city streets and county highways lol

Hello !! The Big Boys Toys !!!

Well said, thank you. The thought at that time was, Wins on Sunday, led to sales on Monday." Perhaps, NOT Super birds, but definitely Roadrunners.

Some of these sat on dealer lots until 1972, then had to be sold at a discount to finally clear them out. And just look at the prices now. 💰💰💰
If it had a Hemi Engine with a 4 Speed Transmission, how much more would it be worth?
🔥👍😍👍🔥
A W E S O M E ! ! !
nice
Beep Beep Beep and up to warpspeed 14 no problem 😊😊😊
Meet George Jetson!
Ps cool hat you have on 😊😊
Not even matching numbers but a beautiful car nonetheless 👍
Oh dear
If I only had the money ☹️
Kick down not hooked up?
Oh the kickdown is hooked up
That's a six-pack 3 2-barrel carburetors
you don't want to unleash that on city streets 🤣🤣🤣
This must not be the same car but one just like it sold at MECUM recently for $319k.
Is the timing off a couple of degrees on that? Sounds......flat.
No those six pack carburetors can be a little cantankerous if you don't set them up right
$246,998
A shame that the 4-barrel was turned into a six-pack - probably took 20,000 off the potential value for an original survivor car.
Doesnt really matter as it's not matching numbers anyway, just a date coded engine 😁
Seems slow

It’s a big floaty boat. Soft ride, heavy car, a highway cruiser.
