I would be very worried about what would happen if there was no cpo. If anything happens, the redevelopment will no doubt be based on doing something similar to Brighton's ground as they seem to be the standard for everything now.
Even if it's redeveloped it'll only be around 55 000 that's around 10 000 more than the current max capacity so that only means they'll probably just add box suites and tickets are gonna skyrocket astronomically for normal fans ......i get it means a lot we even have our club legends ashes buried there but change must come we should be having atleast 65 000 seats in reality like other big teams ei Tottenham now currently is the richest team in London because of their stadium that means they can spend more thus be competitive.....it's sad as you say but it does come down to money
@@daeball125 it hasn’t really worked for Arsenal and Spurs Chelsea’s recent decline is down to poor management from the owner/board For example look At Newcastle! Huge attendances!! 0 trophies
@@ChelseaFCPodcast US, United, Man City have spent more than those clubs in the last 20 years and look who's won it the past 20 years it's dominated by those 3 teams Ofcourse the management is also to blame for the decline but this club was running at a loss in the last years of Roman because it doesn't generate enough money that's why we had a debt up to a billion pounds we owed Roman he loved this club and was spending out of his pocket Newcastle was mismanaged and in debt....I forgot the previous owners name but he ran newcastle so it can stay afloat ,also they are not big as Chelsea globally
