Oh my.... Wonderful craftwomenship This is beyond any thing i would have thought of.. Such a generous size.. This is a versatile sign as you said.. Seasonal wood board.. I can imagine how grand this sign is on your street... Brava.. Ser you next time
Beautiful, love the letters way better then using stencils. Letters make it look more 3-D can't wait to make my welcome board. Thanks for all the details 😊
My God!!! I want this!!! I'm gonna try to attempt this over the weekend!!! You could totally sell these if you wanted to!!!! Another stinking cute project!!!! Tfs
Thank you so much you have inspired me to do this project. All the other video I have watched showed people using a circuit or.making paper stencils. I have purchased and painted my letters. 2nd step is the stain my board. Thanks again for the video tutorial.
Thank you for this tutorial! It motivated me to finish my welcome sign.. let me ask you could use Velcro instead of using a glue gun to change the ribbon every season?
Love this so nice I have never made anything like this so I know now I can get the wood from Lowe’s but where do I get the wooden letters and the nail glue plus all the paint/stain? Please help me I am so lost Honestly I still want to make a sign for me and my sister!!! I thank you and GOD bless you 🙏🤍❤️
Hi Tiki! It’s a really easy and fun project! I still have mine by the front door and it still looks great. Don’t forget to apply your polyurethane to protect it. TFW! 😊💕💕
Thanks for this video! I have two questions for you. 1. Does pine tree wood does well outside? 2. What are the two small pieces of wood for, are they to balance the sign or just something extra to look nice?
So far, the wood has held up fine outside. The two small pieces or wood are just decorative. The sign still looks the same. I may do an update video soon.
Hi! I hope you see this and can reply. I’m starting to make one. I’m using my cricut Maker to make reusable stencils since I want to make lots and sell them. How big are your letters? I like using the 6ft wood instead of the 5ft so many say because I plan on putting pictures/initials/house number or something at the top. Your letters look a little bigger than what I want since I plan on adding to the top but I figure it’s the best place to start. Lol. Looks AWESOME!
But what about those knots in the wood? Eventually it will bleed through. We had that problem and was told to coat it first with a shellac-based primer before painting.
Awesome - where did you find the letters and what glue gun do you have? I need one that won't fall over. Also, what is that glue gun holder you are using when you put it down? Thank you!!!!

Simplicity is key! I Love it.
Great looking
Two things
1. Less liquid nail or so it doesn’t seep out from the sides.
2. Stain back side of wood too
Overall it looks good ✍🏼
Love this straight forward video! Awesome job!

Hi. When you put on the gel, do you have to wipe it off the wood immediately after? Never painted with gel. Thanks.
I don’t wipe it off at all since I like the dark color. If you wipe it off, it will take a long time to get to a dark color.
@@Dezinefun Thank you so much for replying. I am going to make one this weekend and I love the dark color! You are awesome!
Beautiful
But what about those knots in the wood? Eventually it will bleed through. We had that problem and was told to coat it first with a shellac-based primer before painting.
Mine is still holding up but shellac is a great product.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for sharing! Where did you buy the alphebets sign? Thanks.

Thanks for the video.Thinking about doing a festive one for Christmas. How much did it cost to get the wood?
Beautiful!!!
Loveeee this !!! My next DIY 🙂
Hello when did you use the polyurethane? What can you substitute the java stain with?
Yes I used polyurethane. Instead of the stain, you could use a dark brown paint.
Hello I found some polyurethane from Loews the clear coat and the Java was oil based will that make a difference?
Love this ideas
Love it!tyfs.🎅
I love it 🍃🌷🍃
Love it! What are the size of the letters?
I’ll check and let you know.
Beautiful sign. What size are the wooden letters?

What size letters did you use? Love it! Been wanting to make me one too.
Love this! Tfs
What’s your overhead cost and how much would you charge a customer for this
I’m curious as well

What’s the reason to add the additional wood pieces?
They are just decorative pieces.
Did you glue two picket fence boards together?
Yes I glued them.
@@Dezinefun thank you

Love this!
Hey, did you put stain on the letters?
I didn’t stain the letters.
did you sand the board down before painting?
I didn’t sand the board.
If I do Merry Christmas, would I need smaller letters?
Yes, they have smaller letters at Walmart also.
I loved!🖒🖒
How much was it all?
Love love love it
Love it!
Love it 😍
Where did you get the letters? And what size are they?
The letters are from Walmart, I think they are 8”
Did you have to sand yours any?
With the gel stain, there is no need to sand! That’s why I love it!
@@Dezinefun If I purchase finished wood should I sand before I paint?
Love it
What was the reasoning for the two small wood pieces ? Do you need those two pieces ?
Those two pieces are just decorative.
Dezinefun With Michelle oh ok cool !
For wat is the 2 little wood pices?
They are only decorative
How much for the boards
