Another, is, you don’t need red eye to draw. You use L1 to draw out and put in your weapon. But here’s the trick, instead of holding the L2 for dead eye, you press L1 first the. Quickly press L2 to draw it faster. Practice your timing, and be ready to fire because you need to cock your weapon if you haven’t reloaded your gun before. And remember some guns you need to press the R2 twice to chamber the next bullet. Bolt action.
For the bandanna if people see you put it on it won't work. I saw a guy and decided to rob him so I put the bandanna on and when I went to rob he literally yelled, "I already saw your face, I watched you cover it." Later I put it before I walked up to a guy and the bandanna worked and he didn't know who I was. This game is crazy detailed.

An easy way to gain honor is by greeting people in the street and donating to the poor (Saint Denis is good for this) 7. You can sell you legendary animal items at a fence to craft trinkets that give stat boosts 8. For bigger animals it's best to use rifles like the bolt action or Springfield with a headshot the pelt will usually be in perfect cond 9. Your lantern is found on the weapon wheel next to your knife, also your horse holds 3 of your hats and a custom outfit 10. Take advantage of the hotels just $1 allows you to restore your cores and change your clothes away from your base camp 🙂
Can't sell the Legendary boar tusk to the fence, seems you craft it though him while you own it, unlike the Trapper whom you have to sell the pelts to first!
@Luca just switch through your ammo types on the weapon wheel and see which gives you best stats for your gun, some types increase damage while others increase range or accuracy

Just what I was going to post. When I first see this video I thought I'd give it a watch since I watch OX all the time, but I wasn't expecting to learn anything new considering there had been so many tip videos out there with the exact same info. I was pleasantly surprised and didn't know most of the tips in this video so thank you very much Andy and the OX team, much appreciated.
Bow in deadeye normally takes just 1 arrow and if it's a bigger beast bout 2 hours ago I used a slug from the pump action on a gators head and got a perfect hide

I did not know that. Thanks. I don't know if it'll ever come in handy but it's good to know if say, I ever wanted a rob a carrage by getting them to stop and give me a lift, as many people seem to want to do with my horse.
@@math3000 I think he used voice-to-text for writing the script, he recorded while playing the game, and then some one else edited the script and vide.
Another thing to note is that the old whistle when someone steals your horse and it will buck them off and come running back to you still works! Still super satisfying to canter away while they are groaning in the mud.
.....Holy shit, thank you lol I didn't know this. I've played the whole game shooting people for stealing my horse. Having a loyal horse KO the guy sounds so much more satisfying. Planning a replay anyway, especially now.
Just a warning about the auto riding, you can be attacked by bandits on the road. A few hours ago i ran into some who had put up a roadblock, which my horse ran straight into, which sent me flying into 7 enemies. So keep an eye on the game, i was making food, so i had to run to make it in time.
Mine started going up a cliff and when I grab the controller it was too late we started falling I took damage and she died. Always keep horse revives on u. You won't regret it!
You also can't auto run while on a mission. Or at least mine won't. I start it up and it runs for about 5 feet then stops. Works ok I'm free roam though
How does changing my facial hair help if I was wearing a bandana? Witness: "I couldn't see his face, but I somehow SENSED the robber had an amazing moustache."
My two tips: 1. Always help and interract people. Some people might give you money whilst some will give you notable things (like robberies) 2. Always head towards smoke. They can be one of three things: a house, a guy at a campfire or a gang hideout
The rest of the world: plays RDR2 all weekend in a blissful unofficial world holiday Me: watches the painfully slow 88GB download for RDR2 only to finish monday morning when i cant play it
Zuko: "That's rough buddy" Jokes aside, I hope you get to play soon but it'll be worth the wait. Take your time with it though, there is some missable content and Achievements/Trophies. Beware of spoilers online and have fun.
While playing this game, I had to go to the bathroom, so I figured I'd try the Cinematic Mode auto pilot. I came back to me being murdered by the locals of Valentine Turns out my horse had managed to murder two different people on its unattended journey. Thanks guys
Definitely. That's how I got my Springfield rifle. Highly recommend using your free weapon voucher on it and some express shells if you like to hunt legendary game.
When auto-riding, if you feel your controller vibrate, stop and look around… you might just find a collectible. Also, collectibles like dream catchers are highlighted gold like legendary animal tracks in eagle eye mode.
Deadeye to instant reload. Works by tapping on/off too. Break a second horse ‘til it follows your whistling, then you can carry more pelts.. or bodies. (Works great with the lasso for pelts and cinematic auto drive).
I've seen a few tips for this game that didn't really help, this video however was extremely useful, I didn't know about most of this stuff so thank you.
Pro tip. Taking two horses! Steal a horse and get it to bond lv1 by switching saddles then putting it back on main horse. Second horse will follow you. Double your large skins your welcome!
Not sure but I tried put a wolf skin under a larger pelt it worked but I couldn't get the wolf skin off after my temporary horse. U can also put smaller game like birds or rabbits 2 on each side of the saddle with larger pelt on top of wolf skin with a snake coiled up on side as well
Its not even necessary to saddle the horse you stole. Just pat it (or calm down) and lead it a tad bit, when you get on your main horse, whistle and then the other horse will start following you
Standard Controllers for RDR2. (PS4/Xbox) 1) Touchpad/Xbox One View button changes your camera. Tapping will cycle through the third-person distances (near, middle and far) and the first-person mode. Holding it will activate cinematic mode. 2) L1/LB is about weapons. Tapping L1/LB draws or holsters your most recent weapon, while holding it down pulls up your weapon wheel. You can press the button while standing over someone else’s discarded weapon to pick it up. 3) L2/LT focuses. If you have a gun out, the left trigger aims it. If your gun is holstered, you focus on a person (or animal) to interact with. 4) R1/RB generally makes you find cover. That is, unless you’re in Dead Eye and have completed the “Pouring Forth Oil” missions during Chapter 2 - after that, pressing R1/RB during Dead Eye tags a target. In Eagle Eye mode, pressing R1/RB will highlight a trail for you to follow - which, we suppose, is a kind of tagging. 5) R2/RT shoots. If you have your gun holstered, tapping R2/RT will draw it, while holding it down will shoot from the hip. If you have your gun drawn, R2/RT will fire it (also from the hip). And when you’re aiming, the right trigger fires (or cocks) the gun. 6) D-pad up attracts attention. Most of the time, pressing up will whistle for your horse. While you’re aiming, pressing this will point your gun at the sky so you can make a loud announcement. 7) D-pad left is (mostly) about records. Tapping left on the D-pad pulls up your log - a list of ongoing tasks and challenges. Holding left on the D-pad pulls up Arthur’s journal. While you’re aiming in third-person mode, tapping left will switch shoulders. 8) D-pad down is (mostly) about information. Tapping down will pull up information on your HUD about where you are, the time of day and temperature, and your honor. Holding down will let you adjust the size (or presence) of your minimap/radar. If, however, you are aiming a weapon with a scope, D-pad down will aim through the scope. 9) X/A makes something happen faster. It’s the button to make both Arthur and his horse move faster. It’s also the button to skip cutscenes. 10) Hold Options/Menu to open your map. Sure, you can just tap it to pause, then select the very first option, but holding it down skips a step. The rest of the buttons are largely contextual: A) Fistfights. Circle/B punches, square/X blocks and triangle/Y grapples. B) Combat roll. While aiming, hit square/X to dive out of the way. It’s a good tactic to avoid a hail of bullets or a charging predator. C) Interacting with the world. While moving, square/X will make you jump; if you’re standing still, it will let you pick up a body or loot item. D) Triangle/Y will make you loot a corpse or skin an animal, or it will let you climb onto or off of a horse or a vehicle. E) While you’re riding a vehicle, square/X will make you change seats. F) Circle/B will usually reload your gun, but if you currently have someone lassoed and have approached them, it will hogtie them for easy transport. Final Note: Riding a horse is mostly like being on foot. The only difference is that square/X and circle/B control horseback melee blocking and attacking, respectively.
Not sure if it gets mentioned in any tutorials but I found that while aiming a gun you can tap "up" on the d-pad to point your gun upwards and can fire it like that too. Could possibly be used as a way of calling off a stand off between yourself and another gunman, or intimidating people with gunshots without worrying about accidentally shooting them
I wonder if Rockstar picked Arthur Morgan's name after the legend of King Arthur and his half sister Morgan Le Fey. Be neat if they did, representing the duality of your character being either good or evil, or a balance between the two.
I wonder if the tales of Arthur Morgan helped inspire the writing of "When One Becomes Two Problems Can Arise: A Study In Duality" by Dr. Ray De Angelo Harris from Rockstar's GTA 5. =)
BlestNekun you can find a civil war soldier that is a bit hysterical and he wants to befriend Arthur if you accept and come back a second time he asks your name and he will say that sounds like a Kings name. And he says “You can be my King Arthur.”
Eight years on, and I still dont quite understand the hatred for Uncle. Yes, he’s an old drunk, and he let the farm fall apart in John’s absence. But John goes from a gruff but decent guy to most everyone else, to rather cruel and threatening to Uncle. Did a miss a cutscene explaining why we’re supposed to treat him like garbage?
4:52 One of my mission attempts would beg to differ: broke into a wagon as Marston, looted it with the bandana on and removed it once I was out of the red. Then I casually RODE PAST the lawman NPCs approaching to investigate and they were none the wiser.
After I adjusted these, the FPS mode has become my favorite way to play Red Dead 2. Let me explain... the way the settings are now are clunky and jarring. You need to set the control scheme to FPS and go into the camera and turn the Auto Leveling off. This allows you to control the character the same way you would in a Battlefield game. There is no more clunkiness and it brings up the enemies close to where you can see the gruesome effects of your shots. It also allows you to see what you're aiming at because the 3rd Person mode has the camera so far back that it's hard to see your target. Plus, while you're aiming in FPS mode, mash down on your D Pad and you will aim DIRECTLY DOWN YOUR SIGHTS. This is BY FAR the most fun way to play and shoot in Red Dead. YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE IT to see what I'm talking about. You can purchase different and unique gun sights at the Gunsmith and aiming down your sights is the only way to enjoy your new sight. Plus, it's realistic and much more fun! (I have it set up where it switches to 3rd person mode when I get on my horse because this is the where that mode fits and works best. When I get off my horse, it automatically switches back to First Person)
Considering I spend most of my time walking around town admiring my godly beard and awesome outfit, I can't play in first person or I won't be able to lol
@@alexeismirnoff9154 you can get a good price for them at a trading post called the "fence". If you don't see it on the map you probably haven't unlocked it yet.
actually you can use eagle eye in one more way. it is very usefull during fishing for legendary fishes. activate the view with rod in your hands, and the legendary fish will shine inside a lake. then just aim towards it. it is much easier that way :)
@@preciousrogue1833 getting a bath is fun. Until you realize that if you saved the outfit you're wearing on your horse and do the button prompts to put it on, you'll be clean again. Not even joking. If i ever get bloody or muddy i just do that.
Yeah mate. Or look in the compendium, it always says which gun you have to use to get a perfect pelt. For deer, you need to use a rifle, for others, a repeater and so on.
7txjoker yeah, that’s a bad idea. Tried it with a Buffalo and though you can lasso them and they do the same fighting animation like the deer...I didn’t get a “kill” prompt when I got closer to them...my real problem is trying not to run over the deer while I’m chasing them...
Interesting fact about the journal is, whatever you find throughout your journey gets updated in that order. For example, if you aimlook at an animal and press STUDY, and then complete a mission, on the left page you'll see the animal you studied and on the right, details on the mission you completed. And if you find two new animals wandering about, Arthur will fill the pages with sketches of these animals. Makes everyone journal pretty unique, instead of just keeping everything in different sections and such. Really neat and very nice.
Here's a tip During Chapter 3, take some time to fish at the camp (Clemens Point) What this does: 1) Fishing gives you health XP 2) You can donate the fish to Pearson for honor and camp for food so you don't need to pay for it or go out hunting :D
Dutch tried complaining about me not contributing anything to the camp just a day after I put $500 into the box, I was annoyed but went along with it and put in another $250 maybe a day passed and as I walked passed Dutch in camp, he was all like “You’ll betray me one day Arthur, you’re the type.” The nerve of that scumbag.
A nice tip for people early game is turn your regular ammo into split tip ammo at a campfire it doesn’t cost you any cash but does improve the ammo (it is annoying as you have to do each round one at a time but it’s a free upgrade if you can be bothered)
Also if you’re looking for animal hats, the skunk hat, badger hat, fox hat, and beaver hat, and plantation slouch hats are the ones that you can make with a single (perfect) pelt
Yeah Rockstar didn't exactly kill it in the tutorial area. I bought the hardcover strategy guide and the amount of time sensitive achievements and things you can miss and not be able to get later in the game is unnerving. I would have been better off not knowing because now I'm fixated on every little thing so as not to miss a trophy or potential collectible or weapon.
@@wonkybomb1865 Haha same here. So, i am in chapter 3 now but I really feel i missed out on the whole snowy area at the beginning of the game. Will we be able to go back there? So much I wanna do.
One thing that for sure has to be changed is how sensitive the law is. Its actually kinda ridiculous that if you bump into any NPC with your horse and you both fall down, all of the sudden entire town is on your ass trying to turn you into swiss cheese. The same goes for bar fights.
Exactly, I stared at a weird guy for too long and started fighting me, then another dude starts shooting at me and I am the one who gets a wanted level...
i had a similar situation.... I witnessed a murder, hogtied him and on my way to bringing the culprit in alive... the Law was on me thinking I was kidnapping the man!
They are so touchy, I walked past a mirror in a hotel room, clicked the wrong button to look at my reflection, shotgunned it and had to fight my way out of town.
Here's a tip, your horse is a hat hunting god. Just assign your hat to your horse and it'll instantly find and hold onto it for you in the inevitable moment you lose it in the heat of a hectic gun fight... Or trying to rob a train and subsequently evade the law in said train.
No matter how i look at it, I can't shake of the feeling that the Horse at the beginning was secretly screaming, "FOR SPARTA" before it kicked the poor guy to death. Just saying, it's absolutely plausible.
I loved the beginning of the game, that cold icy atmosphere like in Horizon Zero Dawn Frozen Wilds, the survival aspects in the wooden hunting shags, the need of feeding the Van der Linde gang with fresh deer to prevent them turning into hungry starving cannibals like the Donner party, the intro and the beginning was PERFECT! There should have been a travel over the ice cold rocky mountains with the group in most harsh survival conditions in the main story mode to re-live and enjoy a second time the great dark cold flair of the beginning of this game :)
Already knew majority of this stuff but the bit about lassoing deer and being able to draw anywhere were things I didn't know and I'm definitely going to put to good use.
My Arthur Morgan has gone bald for some reason & his hair will not grow back. He looks like he spends his down time jumping out of bushes flashing passing travellers... So glad for hats.
tap up to have horse come to you, hold button for longer whistle to have your horse follow you, riding your temporary horse into town will allow you to keep weapons on your back, bounty hunters sometimes ride war horses which you can steal, tying up a witness then letting him go will defuse the situation, upgrading your saddlebags give you and extra outfit slot, holding the x button and moving analog to dodge in a fist fight is better than tapping x, making the game all about growing a magnificent beard is the best way to play
I was just in Saint Denis and a random encounter dude asked me to follow him to make some cash, he leads me into an alley and before I can even react he robs me for 400 dollars and knocks me out. I tried finding him but to no avail. I’d like to praise the game’s attention to detail with consequences but I’m a bit peeved atm haha
That happen to me after I ran into a klan meeting killed most of em n ran into a "sick" dude in a tent dude jacked me bcuz I was to slow to press the draw weapon button. I killed him bcuz he was to slow to run away.
Had the same happen to me. I had lost 300 bucks. But after like an in-game week, i saw him on an entrance, which leads to the poor areas of Saint Denis, such as these narrow alleyways which leads to housing complexes(you always find him in these types of areas, first time was near the Gunsmith, second was near the Barber) so i knew what he was gonna do. Not today. Schofields out. His Cattleman out. Headshot for him and some hot lead for one of his buddies. Minus 2 Honor points. Lawmen on to me. Loyal Arabian waiting for the getaway. Run off, into the swamps of the Bayou. Survive an alligator attack, but next one wasn't so gentle. Still, no regrets and no money lost.
@@7txjoker saw some smoke in the outskirts of Annesburg. I went that way to se what was going on in there. Exact same thing. Except im a quick draw and i killed another one of them (they were two) and they had no good loot. I examinated them. I had seen them around the same area. They were part of the Murfree Brood. My first encounter with them was pretty random, i was trying to Skyrim up a cliffside then in my HUD pops up:"Compendium Updated:Murfree Brood" so i went to check out where they were and how many they were. They go in small groups i suppose, there were just three of them. I saw smoke nearby. There was this Stranger lying on the ground with a slit throat. I guess the screaming i heard earlier was the poor guy when they jumped him. They're not dangerous, just a bunch of hillbillies up north in Lemoyne. Yesterday it was my third encounter with them. Outskirts of Saint Denis. Im riding north to head to the Van Horn Trading Post. Suddenly this gray blinking icon pops on my minimap (random encounter) followed by a woman's cries for help. I let them keep riding the cart so i could get 2 clean headshots on their backs. This woman just goes up to me and says "They're coming. Run as fast as you can." Then she ran into the Bayou. I tried to go after her, but she was damn fast. So i went to try and loot the guys. Something that sucks about killing people on carts is the fact that they dont fall off the cart, they stay put on the seats. So i was trying to figure out how to get them to fall into the ground. I thought riding the cart from both ends was a neat idea. Except it wasnt. Minus 1 Honor point. Should've lasso'ed them to pull them off the cart but i hadnt thought of that earlier. Stupid me.
Legendary animals do not decrease value by weapon type like all other animals. So you can blast them with dynamite or fill them with shotgun shells for quick kills
A note for people who think they can use the autorun feature to “get up and make a cup of tea” you will still be attacked by bandits, bounty hunters and lawmen and the game will expect you to ready to fight immediately if they spawn and just drops you back into the gameplay so don’t leave the room
Cinematic camera mode completely changed this game for me! This is my first go at a rockstar game (GTA V just passed me by somehow) and this feature is the solution to the 1 thing I was having trouble dealing with in this game. Doing the long rides manually got to be a bit of a hand cramp problem, so thank you, Andy for the tip that helped me love this game to the fullest.

Long pressing Start opens the map. People that you help in the wilderness can randomly reward you. I saved a guy Friday night and in Sunday he happened to be sitting outside a gun shop and offered to buy any one item that I wanted. Got a free shotgun
I found a little exploit that works if you want to get some dual wield revolvers. So, basically, you buy one revolver, right? Then you dont close the Catalogue or pass to the next page. You select the same revolver you bought but for secondary. And its FREE. That way i got the most OP revolvers:the Schofields. I love those beauties.
Played RDR2 for over 30 hours now but I did NOT know about the fact you could draw anytime! Thought it was just mission specific.. That was a real good tip, thanks 👌👍 *edit* Another great tip is the lasso one. Also did not know that one. Top notch work guys
You can put your horse on the dead animal/dead enemy to skip most of the animation of skinning and robbing them, doesnt work as good as in rdr1, but still saves a lot of time
What do u mean 'put your horse on the dead animal/dead enemy'? What does that entail? Is there a button combo that i must do. Please clarify as i would like to skip the skinning animation.. takes too long
Hope I remember the hold button to pick up everything tip, don't think I knew that one. The Witcher 3 is still my favorite game of all time (the two exquisite expansions that could easily be combined to create a fantastic sequel are admittedly an unfair advantage), but RDR2 is a close second. I loved the first RDR, but the jump in quality and quantity with the sequel is absolutely insane.
These are actually helpful to me. I've been fumbling around doing things the hard way for days because I couldn't be bothered reading the help manual. I've never played a game like this one that has so many functions for so many buttons and configurations (that I just can't seem to remember). I'm literally writing down these tips as I watch them so cheers!
First time I find a game so detailed and realistic that it gets annoying and confusing to play. There's just way too much stuff to keep into account. I love immersion and am a huge fan of Rockstar, but RDR2 has so far delivered me more frustration and headaches than pleasure. I love the world, graphics and storyline but heavily dislike the plethora of unnecessary mechanics. I will keep playing the game in the hopes of it becoming more enjoyable later on
If it’s a rabbit, beaver, raccoon, skunk, armadillo, then headshot it with varmint rifle If it’s a deer, buck, pronghorn, or any animal like that, headshot it with something strong. My recommendation is the Springfield rifle with express ammo. Giant stuff, like bears, moose, elk, or buffalo, headshot it with the Springfield rifle. Anything smaller than a squirrel, use a small game arrow and do your best to hit its head. When fishing, don’t shoot the fish. Reel it in. Don’t bother using bait to lure animals. Just go where the internet tells you to find them and then ride around on your horse until you see the animal you’re after. Then chase it and shoot it (correctly)
Red witness icons mean the person has identified you. The bandana makes it easier (possible?) for the witness to have a white icon and not know who you are. If you're never identified, you won't get a bounty.
How I got rich in Rdr1: selling endless amounts of animal skins and meat from Johns bottomless hunting sack How I got rich in Rdr2: looting bounty hunters
Try lassoing a squirrel, Arthur says some funny stuff. I spent nearly an hour last night trying it on birds and other small animals. I caught a skunk but nothing smaller.
Hey anyone know of any good JRPG's or RPG's? (And I know of final fantasy, I'm trying to get the first game before I dive into that series.) or Sci-Fi games?
I know of some, though I honestly haven't played them all myself despite owning them (has no time), don't know if you play on PC, Console, or Both so I'll just list ones I have. I'm sure I'll miss a few. Final Fantasy Lost Sphear I am Setsuna Ys Origin Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana The legend of Heroes trails in the sky Horizon Zero Dawn -- Playstation Exclusive Ni Nu Kuni I & II Persona 5 Dark Souls I - III Nioh Nier: Automata Octopath Traveler Kingdom Hearts Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Final Fantasy games with roman numerals can be played in any order. They are not sequels to each other unless they have an arabic numeral in the title. I would recommend Dragon Quest as the best example of the genre in current gen.
If you're holding a revolver, if you double tap L1/LB to put it away, Arthur will spin it while he does so
Casteverus Hands down, best tip.
Holy shit. Best tip ever
Casteverus using this all the time now
Another, is, you don’t need red eye to draw.

Just a warning about the auto riding, you can be attacked by bandits on the road. A few hours ago i ran into some who had put up a roadblock, which my horse ran straight into, which sent me flying into 7 enemies. So keep an eye on the game, i was making food, so i had to run to make it in time.

U can also put smaller game like birds or rabbits 2 on each side of the saddle with larger pelt on top of wolf skin with a snake coiled up on side as well
7txjoker put your saddle back on your temp horse then go to a merchant, sell it straight from your horse, I'd guess that would work.
yeah i broke 2 horses rode one and told my main horse and the other i broke to follow. All loaded with pelts and animals!
Its not even necessary to saddle the horse you stole. Just pat it (or calm down) and lead it a tad bit, when you get on your main horse, whistle and then the other horse will start following you
Standard Controllers for RDR2. (PS4/Xbox)
1) Touchpad/Xbox One View button changes your camera.
The rest of the buttons are largely contextual:
A) Fistfights.
Could possibly be used as a way of calling off a stand off between yourself and another gunman, or intimidating people with gunshots without worrying about accidentally shooting them
Pretty much my only gripe with the game is how little it does explaining what you can actually do in the game itself.

He's a freeloader and kind of a zoidberg type figure
Every time he says he has a low risk job you end up in a massive gunfight.
He's also really rude to pretty much everyone if you watch him in the camp and just sits there while everyone else does things.
Arella Jardin Has
The Epilogue will tell you a bit more about why John treats him the way he does and also why he still lets him stick around anyway.
I just go FPS on Saint Denis. It's so full of life and it changes the perspective a lot.

I always just put an arrow in their face with dead eye
For medium n large animals only. I don't think you can do massive animals. I doubt you can lasso a bear
Very small tip: Go into first person perspective when playing poker so you don’t need to keep pressing L2 to see your cards...

During Chapter 3, take some time to fish at the camp (Clemens Point)
What this does:
1) Fishing gives you health XP
2) You can donate the fish to Pearson for honor and camp for food so you don't need to pay for it or go out hunting :D
3:00 once you get the upgrade you can fast travel from any camp.
Dutch tried complaining about me not contributing anything to the camp just a day after I put $500 into the box, I was annoyed but went along with it and put in another $250 maybe a day passed and as I walked passed Dutch in camp, he was all like “You’ll betray me one day Arthur, you’re the type.” The nerve of that scumbag.

yeah man, I do ten at a time, every night while I drink cowboy coffee
Also if you’re looking for animal hats, the skunk hat, badger hat, fox hat, and beaver hat, and plantation slouch hats are the ones that you can make with a single (perfect) pelt

Yeah Rockstar didn't exactly kill it in the tutorial area. I bought the hardcover strategy guide and the amount of time sensitive achievements and things you can miss and not be able to get later in the game is unnerving. I would have been better off not knowing because now I'm fixated on every little thing so as not to miss a trophy or potential collectible or weapon.

I ran over a dog in van horn by accident and 30ppl came after me! Lol
that's the proper response to killing a dog. I did the same and immediately had to reload. I could never hurt a doggo.
Another tip. Just store the damn hat on the Hats section found in the Horse section.
you can also get clean very fast by just changing your outfit in your horse equipment
No matter how i look at it, I can't shake of the feeling that the Horse at the beginning was secretly screaming, "FOR SPARTA" before it kicked the poor guy to death.
Just saying, it's absolutely plausible.
Absolutely yeah.
This video was absolutely worth my time, thanks!
You can also shoot in the air to scare away people or animals by pressing up on the d-pad while your gun is out.

tap up to have horse come to you, hold button for longer whistle to have your horse follow you, riding your temporary horse into town will allow you to keep weapons on your back, bounty hunters sometimes ride war horses which you can steal, tying up a witness then letting him go will defuse the situation, upgrading your saddlebags give you and extra outfit slot, holding the x button and moving analog to dodge in a fist fight is better than tapping x, making the game all about growing a magnificent beard is the best way to play
I just kill them with express ammo for my lancaster repeater
Man I've been trying to figure out how to access the log forever I thought I tried left the d-pad but apparently not thank you much for this.
A note for people who think they can use the autorun feature to “get up and make a cup of tea” you will still be attacked by bandits, bounty hunters and lawmen and the game will expect you to ready to fight immediately if they spawn and just drops you back into the gameplay so don’t leave the room
This video has what I subscribed for: Uncle burns and Jack Marston slams.
I think, just about everytime I brought up the log, it was accidental.

I think you mean lucky for Micah
I will keep playing the game in the hopes of it becoming more enjoyable later on
This one is by far the best RDR2 tips video out there. And who better than Andy to give them? He must be in heaven with this game, I know I am.
If anyone in camp I'd aim my gun at, it'd be Micah, not Uncle
In all my years of gaming, there is honestly not a single character I've hated more than Micah.
I knew from the first mission that Micah would somehow fuck all of us.
@@CurtisAlfeld he even dresses like a bad guy
If it’s a rabbit, beaver, raccoon, skunk, armadillo, then headshot it with varmint rifle
If it’s a deer, buck, pronghorn, or any animal like that, headshot it with something strong.
Also don’t buy the fast travel map. You’ll always forget about it
Red witness icons mean the person has identified you. The bandana makes it easier (possible?) for the witness to have a white icon and not know who you are. If you're never identified, you won't get a bounty.
How I got rich in Rdr1: selling endless amounts of animal skins and meat from Johns bottomless hunting sack
How I got rich in Rdr2: looting bounty hunters
There is also a treasure map in that town at the end .
Annesburg is the destination after that
If you find a gold miner by the river just watch him for abit and he should find some gold then rob him.
man, this is one of the few times i've been genuinely quite overwhelmed by a game and its mechanics,
thanks Andy
Anyone who braids their horse’s tail should get their character hanged in RDR Online
ain't that the truth
Based on what GTA Online was like, I'm expecting a lot of people to have the most obnoxious fashion choices for their characters and horses.

Here’s a tip. Beware of gang ambushes.
arthur dies at the end then you play as john
B G I already beat the game but why comment that?
@unitedkingdom offiveeyes Major spoilers but, his name is actually spelled Jon.
(Please don't get mad I'm only teasing xP lol)
+Siege God obliviously to spoil it for people who don't know that. why else?

Try lassoing a squirrel, Arthur says some funny stuff.
I spent nearly an hour last night trying it on birds and other small animals. I caught a skunk but nothing smaller.
Hey anyone know of any good JRPG's or RPG's? (And I know of final fantasy, I'm trying to get the first game before I dive into that series.) or Sci-Fi games?
I'd recommend Terraria, though it's more like a sandbox rpg. It's pretty cheap, and has loads of hours of content.
I know of some, though I honestly haven't played them all myself despite owning them (has no time), don't know if you play on PC, Console, or Both so I'll just list ones I have. I'm sure I'll miss a few.
Final Fantasy
Lost Sphear
I am Setsuna
Ys Origin
Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana
The legend of Heroes trails in the sky
Horizon Zero Dawn -- Playstation Exclusive
Ni Nu Kuni I & II
Persona 5
Dark Souls I - III
Nioh
Nier: Automata
Octopath Traveler
Kingdom Hearts
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning* -- My bad for missing that one :)
Stellaris it is a Sci-Fi RTS if you're into that.
Final Fantasy games with roman numerals can be played in any order. They are not sequels to each other unless they have an arabic numeral in the title. I would recommend Dragon Quest as the best example of the genre in current gen.
This is BY FAR the most useful red dead 2 tips video I've seen (and I've seen a lot of em), of course Andy would have the best info!
