This movie is an UNDERRATED MASTERPIECE! It's so ahead of it's time, it's not racist or sexist like most vintage movies, and the animation is incredible. It literally also walked so Toy Story could run

I’ll be honest as someone who has been in the community for 7 years I really like Andy’s voice in this and I’m glad the film is getting the recognition it deserves

Why is a rag doll so attractive 😭😭😭
After seeing many videos of people simping over this ragdoll guy using clips from this movie, I can see how the characters inspired Gooseworx to make Digital Circus!
Ann: Ragatha (obviously)
Andy: Jax (voice is similar to his, heck, Michael Kovach, Jax’s VA, did a cover of “No Girl’s Toy”!)
Blue Camel/Topsie: Pomni (he went through stress, anxiety, depression, and traumatic experiences, like how Pomni’s going through right now)
Grandpa/The Captain: Caine
Babette: Moon (Captain had a crush on her so he took her, and Caine has a crush on Moon, so it makes a lot of sense!)
Barney Beanbag/Maxi-Fixit/Sockworm: Kinger
Susie: Zooble (and Ragatha too possibly?)
Topsie/Twin Pennies/Camel: Gangle
Mr Greedy: Abstracted Kaufmo + Gloinks Queen
Green Parrot: Bubble
Anyway, that’s what the characters could have been the inspirations for the Digital Circus characters, but I could be right or wrong about the rest! (Pomni and Caine might be the closest inspiration guesses)
I definitely recommend checking this movie out when you have a chance, it’s very entertaining and adorable with a wholesome story and moments! It’s no wonder why Gooseworx decided to base some TADC elements off this!
Edit: I fixed the names of the Taffy Pit Monster and Blue Sock Puppet, as I know their names now! I also added Bubble, she can’t be left out too!
